For a few days I noticed that my tv (Westinghouse) randomly turns off by itself after some time (even after one hour of use) I mainly play youtube on it, and I get that tv’s do naturally shut off sometimes but it’s been pretty frequent lately and I have the latest firestick remote (and update)
so for whatever reason, every time I turn it back on I have to go into settings> manage tv> tv> hit yes for turn on/off for tv>volume test> hit no> then finally do the ten seconds wait then the volume works and it’s so tedious to do. Why is the tv randomly shutting off? I feel like it shouldn’t this much but if anyone can help that would be great!

I came across a reel on IG of a white girl explaining the story (don’t think she’s of any Latin Caribbean based on her mispronunciation of “Taino”). She was retelling the hummingbird story with background images of a children’s book based on it. All of the comments were telling her how inaccurate and that it’s not of actual Taino origin etc I knew of it prior and that it was a “fairytale” or “folklore” in a sense, but is it actually Taino? Thanks!

My mom just noticed that her phone says “encrypted” with the lock symbol under only my contact.
I guess her phone has the latest update w/ it since I don’t & I tried to figure out what it was or of you could remove it at the top. She says that our old messages are gone and not sure what to do, i have googled other Reddit threads and looked any videos or article links but most are info about the encryption and not anything about missing texts or what to do really. Where did the old messages go? Is this an update problem and something we have to wait until apple sends out the next update? Please help or if you know anything that would be great!

I googled how to connect them together and did the Equipment control>manage equipment>change tv but it’s not working when I do the volume test. Nothing works and I don’t know what to do, please help!

I decided to change my primary email name (not the display first and last name) because I made the first apple ID name years ago and wanted to change it, my question is that will my icloud storage and history, texts, apps etc change or be affected at all since I changed the Primary email ID name? it asked if I wanted my texts under the new Apple ID and even though I clicked yes I feel paranoid lol, what happens if I remove the old name? should I do a iCloud backup?

So me (f,24) and friend (trans f, 25) are growing apart I’ve noticed since she has gotten a new gf (f,19-20). I have been best friends with them since 2023 since we met through online classes and instantly connected. I helped her with both her transition in 2024 and messy breakup with their ex last June-July.
Well, in Oct of 2025 they met their online friend/gf for the first time and they instantly started dating and moved in together within a week, I was supportive and happy for her even if it’s something I personally wouldn’t do (both age gap and moving in within a week). My friend and her gf moved from the east coast where me and her lived to California where the gf is originally from. And we have talked only a few times since February and anytime I have texted her it’s been “read” and I barely hear from her anymore. I went through my own personal family death a year ago and she helped me and Ik she cared for me then but now it feels like I barely talk to her and vice versa, like she is head over heels with this girl and I’m happy but she could find time to message me? Like 2 minutes or something, and I know we have a 3 hour timezone difference but still not an excuse or anything. (I have instagram art friends from other countries and they still respond!)
and she knows I hate ghosting and people not responding fast or at least in 24-48 hours. I feel so lost and it just feels like another friend leaving me for their partner or just in general and I’m tired of it. I don’t mean to vent but don’t want to feel alone either.
