Women who are neurodivergent, how have you built a secure life for yourselves?

I'm 26, I only work part time and I'm terrified I won't be sufficient enough to support myself - I don't want to ever rely on others in the future. Can you give me any advice, what paths did you take that felt accessible to you? How do I increase my work ethic?

I used to work full time when I was 23 but experienced such a burn-out I've been scared to attempt again.

I'm trying to build up my own business of dog walking but it's a slow process, although I'm proud of my achievements so far with returning customers etc.

I feel inadequate and incapable of providing for myself compared to my peers. I'm scared this inability will leave me vulnerable in the future.

Does anyone else feel this way? Or any advice would be deeply appreciated.

Movies that feel like 1970s summer?

I've watched a few already but seeking out something new that maybe I haven't seen!

(Seen: boogie nights, dazed and confused, summer of sam, taking woodstock, almost famous, Texas chainsaw massacre, lords of dogtown, Forrest Gump, the runaways. So looking for those vibes!)

Another day, another vintage dress (for £20!)

I think it's 1970s due to the label. I can't wait to do a 60s look with it (beehive n all!) What shoes would you guys go for with this?

I'm really struggling with anxiety and anticipatory grief about my senior dog, can anyone give me advice?

Hi, I have had my little guy Bean since I was 12, he's now 14 with a grade 4/5 heart murmur. He's still doing OK, playing, being naughty etc but the last week he developed vestibular disease but improving the last day or so and it just sent me off into a spiral of anxiety and I can't stop thinking about the fact I might lose him soon. He's been with me every step of the way throughout all my teen and young adult years.

At the vets they are still happy with his heart and health at the moment but I'm overthinking every little thing he does and thinking it's an emergency, that I need to book another vet visit, another x-ray to check his heart etc. It's irrational and not letting me be present with him and causing me so much anxiety that I don't even like leaving his side at the moment. Even my loved ones around me are getting fed up with my constant worrying which makes me feel guilty and more anxious.

Has anyone felt terrified of how you'll eventually deal with the grief? I'm worried I won't be able to deal with it all. It all feels terribly selfish too in a roundabout way because I should be enjoying every moment with him, and to an extent I do but this overshadows me.

Has anyone felt similar? How did you cope? And any advice is welcome but please be gentle as I'm having a bit of a spiral lately! Thank you so much

My 14 y/o has an uti and Vestibular disease at the same time, are either related?

My 14 y/o chihuahua on Saturday suddenly came over funny, dizzy, unbalanced etc and we took him to the vets and he was diagnosed with a minor ear infection & they \*think\* vestibular disease (he's had it once before) he's also since this week found out he has an uti (very mild) is there correlation between all these things? It seems odd he's been hit with it all in one. I'm very curious.

I'm hoping on hope he will feel himself again soon, each day he's improving.

Advice on how to help a senior dog keep cool with CHF during a heatwave?

My little guy Bean is 14 with CHF, he's on medication and is doing quite well overall (which I'm so grateful for) but noticed a very slight increase in coughing. The vets said this is due to the extreme hot weather (32°+ everyday at the moment in the UK) not a progression of his CHF.

I've tried keeping him as cool and comfortable as I can but do you guys have any tips on helping him be more comfortable? We don't have/can't afford aircon. This will also be a great help for our 18 year old dog too (doesn't have chf) the hot weather is all fun and games until you have dogs that struggle in it 😢 hoping for some slightly more reasonable temps soon

I'm part of a climate change group on Facebook and they are posting AI images about the impact of climate change

I commented it's ironic and I've had a few people dismissing me 🧐

Which Lana album impacted you the most?

(I spent way too long on these) from beginning to end aka lizzy grant, born to die, ultraviolence, honeymoon, lust for life, NFR, chemtrails, blue banisters, ocean Blvd + stove even though we don't have the album yet! (Missing sirens and paradise edition, may add a later date!)

How much do you spend a month on clothing stock while reselling?

I'm trying to work out what the norm is - I had a great month last month but realized I didn't prioritize stock and haven't made as much this month and now I'm just restocking but I was wondering around how much the average person spends on clothing? I do vintage, 60s, 70s & y2k mostly
