I know this probably isn’t the right sub, and I’m assuming most people here have ADHD, but I couldn’t find a more fitting sub so thought I’d ask here anyway. My psychiatrist has prescribed me dexamphetamine 5 mg off label for treatment resistant depression. He’s told me to experiment a little with the dose to see what works best for me. I’m taking this alongside 45 mg of mirtazapine, which I’ve been taking for about two years. The mirtazapine helped a lot initially, but after around 4 months its effectiveness for my depressive symptoms progressively decreased. I also have concentration issues that affect my speech and day to day life, which is why he wanted to give dexamphetamine a shot, but my main issue is still the low mood.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience adding dexamphetamine and whether you noticed any improvement in mood, rather than just concentration/energy? I’ve found little information or personal experiences online about using it this way.
I can’t lie, it feels a little strange to be popping a stimulant whenever I need it as a way of managing depression, if you know what I mean lol. I’m going to give it a try regardless since I can always stop if it isn’t helpful, but I’d really like to hear from anyone who might have some helpful lived experience. Thanks :)

Is study load per year or per semester. In semester 1 2027 ill be doing only 2 units (50% full time load) as I did 1 unit early, and already have credit for 1 elective; making me part time for that semester. But I will be doing 4 units (100% load) in semester 2 of 2027 so my total load for the year is 75%. Am I ineligible for youth allowance in semester 1 or is it per year?

I’m planning a week long solo trip next June and would appreciate some guidance! I’m (22F) from Australia, and as much as I’d prefer to rent a car, I really don’t feel comfortable driving on the other side of the road by myself up mountains and steep roads. I know it’ll be harder, and it’ll limit what I can do but if anyone has done the Dolomites without a car I’d really appreciate any info u can provide, including basic itinerary and where you based yourself? thank you!

I guess this is more a question for native speakers. But in English there are accents that are considered ‘more attractive’/‘less attractive’, sound nicer on the ears, sound worse etc. Romance languages like the Italian accent for eg, are considered very attractive whereas Indian, most Asian accents, even the Birmingham n liverpool accent less so. Whilst I’m sure a lot of this stems from cultural/xenophobic biases I was wondering whether a similar pattern exists in Italy. And where English falls on that scale? Particularly whether the American, British and Australian accent are perceived differently. Thanks for any responses!

Particularly around wetherill park. Been going to a laser site and I stg they are so careless with it. Like they don’t do it in a straight or in any organised way, they just zap random spots and call it a day. I understand it’s normal for it to be patchy, and missing some spots is understandable but they’re missing heappps of sections and chunks… the zapping took total less than a minute for full Brazilian and rear? This is my 3rd session and I’m just super frustrated cause I have pretty thick hair that extends down my thigh and I stg even if I had 50 sessions I don’t think it’d get most spots :/

Planning a 3 month trip across europe from april to june next year. I am bronze member, looking for economy class and don't have a massive preference as to where I'm flying in and out from but leaning towards flying Sydney to Paris, then Prague back to Sydney. I'm able to see a decent number of reward flights in april but struggling to find much for end of june/early july. Should I give it a couple months given the return flight is almost 12 months out?

All 4 of my grandparents immigrated to Australia in the 1960s and my family and I wanted to start a tree to trace our line back a couple generations. I'm using both familysearch and antenati to find records and tbh, I'm struggling to find anything at all. Family is from Crespano del Grappa, Treviso, Veneto. I want to start with my great grandmothers records as I have her full name and birthday. She was born in 1894. I really can't find any records for births in that period... am i searching wrong or are the records not online?

I’m sure this is said a million times but I’ve actually never seen such an inconsiderate character on tv. At the end of season 1 Rhydian literally stops her from uploading the photos online and then 5 minutes later she says to Maddy “why didn’t u tell me… I wouldn’t have told anyone” like wdym you were just about to 😭 even when they all came over for a hang at home in the wolfsbane episode and she was like no we are going out and you are coming with me: no asking, not even any begging. Like 0 consideration for her friend’s wants and feelings. And when Maddy finds out about the camera Shannon cannot comprehend why shes mad. Even when Tom explained that they were scared about the secret getting out not once did she consider their perspective. She was so adamant that because she had good intentions she was in the right. Maddy literally had to forgive her because she couldn’t fathom why it was hurtful. The very next day even Maddy says to yana abt getting the laptop “it’s her thing , let her have it she needs to feel like she’s included” like hell even Maddy clocks Shannon doesn’t actually gaf about her, she just wants to be the nerd who knows everything and solves every problem, with no consideration of the feelings of everyone around her.

No “no one actually cares, it doesn’t really matter” answers please. I mean like when would the average person find it weird to have no dating experience and be a virgin. thanks yall 😅

I know this sounds like a really stupid question, but I just finished my first session of Brazilian + rear laser and I’m not to sure she actually zapped the hair that extends to my thigh. It was quite painful, so tbh I wasn’t thinking about where she zapping at all until the drive home. It was super quick, like all up zapping time was maybe 2 minutes. I have very thick dark hair that extends quite a bit up my thigh (like 5cm maybe…. although you can’t tell when it’s shaved) and whilst she may have zapped a little of the bikini line (I truly can’t remember 😅) I don’t think she zapped anywhere close to the entire thigh region that gets hair. I bought a 50% off 6 session package so I’ve still got 5 more seasons to go at this site. Is this something I bring up next session? I’m pretty sure Brazilian includes the inner thigh area no? 😅 also is there any way to know what/if areas were missed. Will the hair grow back differently? Thanks for any responses :)

Hi, I’m trying to figure out Jean sizing and I’m stuck a bit. Do they run big or true to size. I’m 5’7, 56kg (123.5lbs) and normally an AU8 which is a US4, 67cm (26inches) waist, 86cm (33inches)hip. Should I get the US 4 or size down to the US2. Normally I get whatever the model is wearing because they’re pretty much always my height and size but Hollisters models are all wearing a US2. Hi, I’m planning a 3 month trip across Western Europe next year from April to June. I had originally decided on an Osprey 40L with a packable day bag. However, I’ve decided to now spend one of those weeks in late June hiking the Alta Via 1 in the Dolomites while staying at refugios. Basically, I’m trying to figure out the most practical way to manage luggage for that week. I feel like I’ll be miserable hiking with a 40L. I’m 5’7 F for reference. I was thinking of maybe using a locker to store my main bag and taking the day bag for the week, but I’m not sure a 20L packable bag without structure would be comfortable enough for several days of hiking either.

So im a bit stuck. I don’t think I can get much smaller than a 40L for the whole trip, as I’m going in shoulder season, need to pack for both cold and hot weather, plan to get souvenirs, and just generally don’t want to wear the same outfit every day for 3 months 😅. I can force myself to be super minimal for the Alta Via week, but I’m not sure whether it’s realistic to carry a second, higher quality small hiking pack with support (20L) for the rest of the trip in place of the day bag, or whether that would just be too annoying/cumbersome.

Has anyone done a hut-to-hut hike like Alta Via 1 as part of a longer Europe trip? How did you handle storing luggage and packing just for the trail week? Thanks for any advice!
