You know, there's very few cards who show their aging as *bad* as the anime version of Exodia Necross.😑

First of all, it only has protection from destruction. Nowadays, cards can be banished, tributed for things like Kaijus, be equipped to the opponent's monsters, hell, there's even some cards who just "send" cards to the GY, so it's technically not destruction.

Also, use three of out the five pieces just for protection from Monster, Spell, and Trap effects? If this had been any more recent, just one of the pieces would have that effect, and it would just be a blanket "cannot be destroyed by card effects".

This card would not last a single turn nowadays. The singular piece that's protecting Exodia Necross in the given circumstance would be sniped out of the GY with D.D. Crow.

Okay, so I have a question about Second Son

Do the DUP want to *capture* Delsin, or *Kill* him? Because they seem to go back and forth between the two. For example, during the "Bus" mission when you first meet the Super Rooks (Those huge guys *covered* in concrete armor who launch concrete slabs like the Concrete Power's Missile Attack at you) they go "Delsin Rowe, you're coming with us", implying that they intend to *capture* him. Yet, later in that same mission when the Video Angels show up, the one DUP literally gives the order to KILL Delsin.

So I JUST thought of something.🤨

You know how that guy in the audio logs in Second Son says that those "Suspicion Pens" is where the put people who are discovered to have the Conduit gene by the scanners? How come with DELSIN, the DUP just straight-up tries to *kill him*?🤨

Like, we actually *see* what normally happens in-game when someone is revealed to have the Conduit gene. The DUP grunt just *grabs them by the arm, and chucks them in the pen*. Yet with DELSIN, its *guns drawn, trying to SHOOT HIS ASS*.😑

So, I recently completed my latest replay of Infamous Second Son.

This time, I decided to do a "Newest Power Only" run, which means that whenever you gain a new power, you ONLY use that power until a NEW one is unlocked. The only exception is missions that *require* a specific power, such is infiltrating the concrete island and Augestine's tower with *Smoke*.

I've earned a new appreciation for *Neon*, and while Video is my favorite power conceptually and aesthetics-wise, Neon is my new *second* favorite.

And then...there's *Concrete*. Yeah, it SUCKS. Literally the ONLY power that I can get reliable use out of is the Missile attack. And even then, its so wide-spread, I usually end up killing almost as many *civilians* as *DUP*.😑

Hot take: A plot-twist only works if there are subtle SIGNS.😑

Alright, this HAD to be a *last-minute* decision. The whole "Augestine is actually trying to *save* Conduits" plot-twist was an interesting idea in *concept*, but it literally pops up out of *nowhere* in the LAST mission. If it WAS planned the whole time, there should have been *hints*. You can't just have Augestine go "The world hasn't changed in the last seven years, the Conduits would be LYNCHED if there were let out onto the street" when it's HER reason the world's like that.

Oh, and also, remember that one DUP who tells Hank over the phone how "Theres a *thousand* people in the DUP who are just there to 'hunt and *kill*' Conduits"? You'd think if Augestine was always meant to be some sort of misguided "protector" of Conduits, people like that within the DUP would have been *dealt with*.

Alright, so I'm genuinely curious.🤔

What do you this is the *in-game, lore reason* why Eugene's Angels *attack you* in-between the "bus" mission and the "chasing the Angel carrying Reggie" mission?🤔

Ah yes, my favorite part of getting new support. The wallet-breaking "$20" card that the deck needs *three copies of*.😑

Been dealing with problem for *years*. First it was Toon Kingdom. Then it was Ancient Gear Fusion. Then, it was Magician Souls.😑

What's the dumbest way you've lost a Karmic Streak in Second Son?😑

So, I just got to the lantern district in my newest replay of Second Son, and I lost my Karma Bomb because *apparently* when I blew up a signal jammer with a Phosphor Beam, some of the debris fell of the roof and *hit an Akuran*.😑

Meme I made

So, I just had a thought. If Delsin (and Fetch) *really* wanted to, they could screw with some random bar owner in Seattle by constantly *draining their neon sign* every time it came back on.😂

Just wanna say, I appreciate how the new Level 5 monsters for the Red Dragon Archfiend archetype circumvent the *problems* with being a Level *5* monster in an archetype with *full* of Level 1 and 2 Tuner monsters, with only a small handful of Level *3s*.

Power Vice Dragon fetches a Resonator from the deck, so you always have access to a Level *3* Tuner, and Fiend Piece Golem can make itself Level *4*.

Replaying Second Son, and I have a question.

Do you think that Fetch and Eugene had to "recharge" their powers like Hank did?

If I had a nickel for every time an isekai anime where the MC gets reincarnated into a dating sim game where the prince of the kingdom was DUMB AS A BOX OF ROCKS, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened TWICE.😑
