Thinking about Re-living the peak 2019 COD era

As the title suggests, I've been meaning to get back into Modern Warfare 2019. I really miss the time when this game got released, it was a breath of fresh air. Definitely going to replay the campaign but I was wondering how the lobbies are.

How's the cheating situation? (I've heard people encounter some from time to time)

And are there alot of online players still hopping into multiplayer?

Edit: I'm on PC. Got the game through battlenet in 2019

Completely Gone

Really sad/depressive warning, BPD, 26M

Title is too vague and stupid. I have lived for too long and honestly its boring at this point. I have had a decent life. Good stuff. Bad stuff. all the same to me now. Been through years of anxiety and depression and BPD. I've had suicidal ideation my whole life and genuinely had some incidents but I could never fully go through with it because I'm just too scared to do anything in life and I have even given up on that at this point, which is just a huge bummer since i dream of a day I don't wake up. I sit at home all day gaming, watching youtube/netflix, browsing the internet etc.

I don't take care of myself at all besides the bare minimum hygiene and health requirements needed to keep going without going to the hospital since I don't want to waste money. I don't eat properly, bare minimum calories a day - coffee, bread  and some basic carbs to run my brain. I feel hungry all the time but I can't eat much. Food seems disgusting so mostly I try to stuff myself before I dont feel like eating at all. I dont have an eating disorder, I just dont like eating anymore. Even things that I used to like I don't eat anymore. I dont go out at all. Even too nervous or anxious to get a haircut or get groceries but I order most things. I am able to go out sometimes but whenever that happens it feels like im narrowing my vision and other senses like they do with horses in some countries. I only focus on what's needed and try not to think at all so I don't have any panic attacks outside.

People close to me used to worry about me but now even they've given up mostly and just want me to be healthy but even that seems impossible. I used to have horrible emotional fluctuations due to BPD because of which I started numbing myself and at this point, I'm mostly numb. In a way that feels good since I've stopped compulsively crying/ feeling depressed all the time and I don't have as many frequently occurring anxiety/panic attacks (not even sure what happens) anymore.

Living seems ehh, dying seems ehh but would be nice. I don't know what to do anymore besides keeping my mind numb and occupied with games and media so I don't think too much. I'm afraid of living life because every attempt I've made at trying to live like a normal person turns into a horrible experience in my opinion. Scared of making any decision or commitment to anything since it feels like too much pressure. Even sharing all this on reddit feels scary and pointless.

I think of myself as a realist but i've been told I am very pessimistic about myself and too optimistic about the world. I used to have high expectations from myself and lots of potential but I just cant make myself do anything. Probably good at alot of things but I've lost all faith in myself since I'm too scared and de-motivated to do anything. De-motivated is a bad word here since I just don't care anymore. I've forced myself to lose all interest in money, women, the world and the beauty of life etc etc. This is because I dont want to hope for a better life or create any interest in living since I'm too scared of bad things happening or messing up stuff. I hate myself with all my heart and I hope that no one ever feels like this or does what I have done to myself, mentally. Not sure what I'm hoping to achieve with this. Probably nothing since I don't look forward to anything anymore either because it feels like digging-your-own-grave or something like that.

Cheers

Throttle Control Software

Any good software or app for ASUS that's similar to MSI afterburner and throttlestop but specifically made for ASUS or ASUS ROG laptops?
Having issues with heating and my laptop is throttling performance in-game. Average FPS is around 140 normally but it throttles it down to 40 FPS which is unplayable.

Constant FPS Drops

Fps drops from an average 144 to 40 during gameplay. 30% of my gameplay gets the proper FPS at over 120 most of the time while mostly it's dropped and choppy at 40 FPS.

  1. Could this be a heating issue due to lack of airflow?
  2. Can this be fixed with MSI afterburner or Throttlestop? (Or an app specific for ASUS)

Rengoku Event Empty

Got into a event queue and it went on for 5 minutes before i refreshed it 3 times. same result.

Most queues only take 1-2 minutes max for my servers. Is no one playing this event?
(I've had the same issue with deathmatch - to complete a challenge/mission - but that never works)

Vanguard Error Van 57

Having this since months, tried a few of the solutions on this sub-reddit but it keeps happening and the only way to play is by restarting my PC a few times.
Haven't played this game much due to this error. Everytime I start Riot and launch LoL, it shows this message. Tried Manual Launch for VGC, Tried reinstalling everything, no proper fix tho.
Any solutions?

WiFi Not Showing

This has happened before but it's usually an easy fix by restarting PC or tweaking the WiFi settings in Registry Editor.

The issue is that my WiFi option isn't showing at all, when I go to device manager, there is no option for wireless adapter/WiFi drivers.

I've tried setting the "start" setting in Registry Editor to "3" as I saw an earlier post about it, and it fixed it at the time but now the issue is still persisting and I'm not sure what other options I can try.

It's as if my PC isn't reading the WiFi drivers/adapters. Not a technical person but that's all I know.

Any ideas?

GeoGuessr without opponents

Just started playing recently and I wanted to try it out as a chill pass-time while working on stuff. sort of like a 5 minutes break to relax but the issue is that you play against opponents and most of the time there is a time limit (if the opponent guesses first or daily challenges).

Is there a way to play this without opponents or time limits? any version that allows that?

Got it from steam. maybe the website ones have exclusively solo game modes?

Anxiety/Stress Monitoring device

I've been looking into ways to monitor my anxiety since I'm unable to tell when im approaching an anxiety/panic attack and usually it's too late because it starts happening.

I wanted to know if there's any devices like watches maybe that could help with monitoring this issue. Something that vibrates or beeps when my BP or stress is crossing a certain limit so I can be made aware that I'm approaching an anxiety attack. I'm not very informed on this so I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows, please drop some suggestions. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks alot.

Did a network reset on my Asus gaming laptop because the WiFi driver wasn't showing at all.

Now my WiFi is showing and connecting and there's internet but I can't browse anything.

Before doing it, I read that some networking software will have to be reinstalled but I didn't use any VPN.

How do I make it work? Any tips?
