If Okada was in WWE and not in the mainevent we'd have posts after posts about WWE not using him correctly or how WWE can't book japanese wrestlers correctly.

Okada was the posterboy for Dave Meltzer as this supreme wrestler and he's just won a few midcard titles and been given the catchphrase "bitch" and been put in the don callis family which doesnt help anyone in essence.

why does the IWC not mention any of these mishaps? if it happened in the WWE we'd never hear the end of it!

I've got my family tree back to my second great grandparents who were John Murphy 1861-1917 and Rose Murphy (Nee Kelly) 1859-1950. Both these were born in ireland but died in Liverpool

I am trying to find anything on his father called Donald Murphy.

We know by the time John and Rose have married in August 1885 in Liverpool that Donald has died based on their marriage certificate.

At the moment on ancestry we think and i stress the point think.....

Birth 1805 • Leitrim, Ireland

Death 1880

John his son is down as being born in Newry Down but i think all these dates and years are just guesses from people on ancestry

i've sort of hit a brick wall due to the lack of irish records i can find

I have details on his sons marriage certificate and death but nothing on Donalds wedding or Johns birth certificate as they're all irish based

Using ancestry in the uk and its fascinating. i've been able to get birth/death certificates online for £3 a pop which is making things so easy to go up the tree

im a huge fan of blue/red, gold/silver onwards etc so i'd love to play them again on something like the switch 2.

Since i was on forums back in the late 90s i've seen numerous posts about how vince mcmahon is out of touch and should step down. I saw posts about vince russo and jeff jarrett being rubbish at TNA and needing to step down.

I now see tons of people tweeting or posting about HHH needing to step aside as WWE is stale etc and creative isn't good.

Yet I never see any comments about Tony Khan needing to step aside from creative to give AEW a boost? yet the ratings are fairly low currently? surely the measurable of the success of a companies creativity is ratings or live attendance? Yet aew is flat for both.

WWE is coming down from a boom quite obviously but is still bigger in both ratings and attendance than AEW. So why does HHH get the posts about stepping down but Tony Khan is given a free pass?

Especially odd because Tony khan has no history in the wrestling industry except running an e fed as a teenager and having access to his fathers wealth.

I genuinely want to know why no one ever even discusses the concept of tony khan giving the creative role to someone else in a hope for a refresh for AEW and higher ratings/attendances etc.

So it looks like your typical closed off road with border stations on the USA and Canada but smack bang on the border line itself is this rather quaint little house/hostel which appears to straddle the border completely. why can't we ever treat AEW with the same?

my question is....why haven't AEW built any stars? They've existed for 7 years now and i can't think of a single person they've built from scratch.

MJF is the same gimmick as he was from MLW. Hangman the same from ROH. Bucks and Omega obviously the same from ROH/NJPW

i can accept:

1 Darby Allin seems to be quite an AEW guy built to a mainevent

2 Toni storm even though known throughout many promotions was given the timeless gimmick

or do i just need to download different emulators for each different system

Hi there i just thought i'd let you know that I used to watch WWE until recently but its got really stale and poor so i've become a lapsed wrestling fan. Someone told me to watch AEW Double or Nothing however

I thought i'd give it a go as i had nothing to lose AND oh my word this has restored my love for wrestling. The wrestling! The storylines!! Wow i was amazed by it!!!

I'm going to watch AEW going forward. I think more people need to stop watching WWE and now start watching AEW like i have done!
