Devin Goda is going to be itchy.
I’m not saying why but that’s gonna be itchy for sure.
I got one response so far. From Senator Alex Padilla.
“…That is why I was a proud cosponsor of the “Social Security 2100 Act” (S. 2280), introduced by Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT). Among other provisions, this legislation would have increased Social Security benefits, repealed provisions that reduce benefits for some public sector workers, protected benefits from inflation, and ensured the solvency of Social Security for decades to come. This bill did not pass the Senate in the 118th Congress and has yet to be reintroduced this Congress….”
Do we want to discuss this? Are we even allowed to?
I just saw a photo on my memory feed from exactly 10 years ago today. I was very fit. 50 pounds lighter! I was jumping at the trampoline park with my oldest daughter and my grandson. I look like a kid! I hadn’t lost my parents yet, I had no idea that type of grief even existed. My back and my wrist weren’t busted yet. Nowadays, I can’t jump. I struggle brushing my hair and teeth because of my wrist. Pain is exhausting and depressing. All the years of my adult life, I have been fit. Strong. Healthy. Active. The last ten years have aged me about 25 years. I’m still as active as possible. But my gosh. Anyone else feel like ages 57 to 67 aged you more than 10 years?
