I'm a zoomer and I don't know how cheques work.

Apparently I paid too much in tax last year at my minimum wage job, so the government owes me 400 smackaroos. I cashed it in this morning and I was so excited because I have £2 to my name. Went to the bar and couldn't pay for my beer. Went back to the bank and they said I need to wait like 48 hours for the cheque to clear before I can spend it. £400 lying dormant in my account and I can't touch it bro this is hell. I have like £6 I've managed to scrounge together in coins. I don't know how I'm going to survive tonight.

Advice for retail interviews with no experience?

Hello,

I have an interview in two days for working retail at a corner shop. I'm 28 and I have worked mostly office all my life, and I have very little experience with anything retail (I volunteer at a charity shop, but that's about it).

I really really need this job. Does anyone have any tips or advice? Thank you.

Will Odeon be screening the Chiikawa movie?
