I just don't wanna see anyone.....

I am 16M and I have really bad anxiety, My face turns red and hot and My heart races when someone calls my name and people notices it and I made fun off.. I also skip school deliberately to avoid these kinds of situation. I tried telling my parents but they brushed it off saying its no big deal and I should man up.. what should I do mann are these actually anxiety symptoms or am I just a looser to is afraid
