If you think about it - The last 2 years had to be one of the hardest stretches of J Cole's life.

By all accounts J Cole has been unproblemmatic in the industry, his peers respect, rap gurus and hip-hop heads praise him, yet he was caught up in the middle of a situation between who he "deemed friends ", made a decision that left him being villified by social media and many of the largest Hip-Hop media platforms go out their way either drag his name or diminish his accomplishments.

Not gonna lie typing this make me even madder at Kdot for that whack shit.

A coach recruited my son to play, but another coach's kid gets all the reps - is this fair or foul?

My son was the starting QB for a smaller team outside of our district. Because of politics we always played away from my local program. This year my son asked to play with his school friends, and the head coach personally asked us for him to come play — even though his own son is the starter.

I directly asked him who is the backup QB and he said he had no one so my son would be the backup but he would also have to play another position. Cool — we understood the situation and as long as he got reps at QB ( practice/scrimmage) I was fine.

But once we joined, I found out there was already another “backup” QB — the son of another coach. Other parents and coaches acknowledged that he's nowhere near as good or talented as my son but that kid gets every back-up rep. My son gets 2 mins of garbage time behind kids who never played before.

The head coach barely speaks now, and in this program - you become the villain if you bring anything up.

This is Middle School where reps absolutely matter. Now he’s stuck behind politics, not a competition, and losing a full year of QB development.

My son is disappointed but he's handling it very well but now I have to pay extra for training and skills he not getting in practice.

So did the coach lie or just recruit? Should I stay and let him sit all season, or leave and protect his growth?

My BIGGEST question is - what would you do?

What's something about being a Coach that parents who don't or haven't coached don't understand.

Parents blame coaches for everything and vice versa.

I know my experience as both but that was before (2020) when private equity and social media turned youth sports into amateurism.

Is the Fall Off Basically J Coles version of Mr. Morale?

Similarities are glaring.

Both The Fall Off and Mr. Morale are made for the core fans, not the mainstream.

Neither project had a real breakout single that crossed over to mainstream or casual listeners.

Selling out tours doesn’t automatically mean the album itself was widely replayed outside the fan bubble.

Heavy, introspective themes that fans defend hard, but the general public doesn’t keep it in rotation.

Online, both albums get treated like “misunderstood classics” even though most people moved on pretty fast.

I know it's blasphemy but NEITHER album is loved outside of their Fanbases.

Other than Wolverine who is the most important casting the X-man needs to get right?

If not her then it has to be Professor X

Why don't "certain"white men and foreigners not wash their hands after they touch their stuff in the bathroom?

Like people really be leaving out of stalls, pass 5 sinks and put their hands straight to the door

Them going to the show is weaker than J Cole's apology - Especially for Mal.

Rory & Mal spent the last 2 years criticizing J. Cole ; calling him weak for apologizing, saying he hurt his legacy, he had no backbone and claiming they couldn’t listen to him the same; That’s a strong stance.

But then they showed up at his concert once Cole was hot again.

Say what you want about Joe Budden or Charlamagne, but they at least stay consistent. They didn’t go to the show, and they didn’t walk back their criticism.

I'm sure there will be apologist's or people who the to explain away but the fact is.....That’s inconsistent at best, hypocritical at worst.

The Biggest issue I have with J Cole team and the Fall Off is that.....

There is a absolutely no reason that Hit the Gas wasn't a full song and pushed as the lead single .

Battles that have nothing to do with the big 3 - Who is the better Rapper, Better Lyricist and Better discography?

I know one is popular on-line but I'm going Jay with All 3 categories.

As rappers to me Jay , Benny , Push = Gibbs are Toss up.

Never thought I'd agree with Cowherd but he's right - NIL/Transfer is better for the sport.

For five straight years only 4 teams LSU, Bama, Clemson, and Georgia even played for the Natty.

Preseason Top 10 = end‑of‑season Top 10. You knew the title matchup in August.

Last year? None of the preseason Top 4 even made the playoff.

Now Vandy is stealing recruits, and teams like Michigan, Washington, Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame and INDIANA are rotating through the top instead of the old guard.

The sport went from predictable to chaos overnight.

How do you even argue against that?

What is a Rap Truth that's fans have a hard time accepting?

I'll start

- Kanye is the Only rapper with 4 straight Classics

- Weezy rightfully earned his "Greatest rapper alive" title during his run

- MF Doom, Big L and are only elevated on-line because they no longer here

- Lil Baby is a better rapper than you want to admit

- Gibbs is mediocre rapper with Top Tier Production

- You all fall for Group Thought at one point

- Tyler the Creator and Doja Cat are the same person and same sex

- Kendrick Fcked over 3 Fanbases at Once

- There are NO MORE universal classics

- Just like Rock and Roll and R&B, Radio.....Hip-Hop is dead

NOTE 95% of you will be offended, put me down as if it's real life instead of offering you own for fun discussions"
