So I recently started a new job managing the warehouse of a small business. We have a brick and mortar presence as well as an online store set up through Shopify. The online store currently has 20 bundles for sale (along with plenty of individual items). Those bundles were set up as their own product with variants so inventory does not sync to the items, leading to overselling, a familiar problem. I want to change this by using some sort of bundling app.

Most of the bundles are straightforward with no options except colors and sizes on some of the items. I believe those could all be handled with the free Shopify bundles app.

At least one bundle, though, is a mix and match “choose any two of these seven different products” which I don’t think the free Shopify bundles app can handle. Right now those variants appear to have their own tracked inventory separate from the main products that are being bundled.

There are quite a few free and paid app options out there, I know, some of which sound like they will handle these bundles, but I’m a bit overwhelmed.

Also, some products, including the bundles, are also sold through Powered by People, and it seems that syncing those bundles and linked inventory may not be possible?

Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
