Mabinogi is the best sandbox MMORPG

Hey y'all,

I’ve played tons of MMOs but I always end up coming back to Mabinogi because nothing else captures that pure sandbox freedom. If you're sick of theme-park MMOs forcing you down a linear path, Mabi is just built different.

It definitely has old-school jank, but if you want an actual fantasy life instead of an endless gear treadmill, it's unmatched.

Hey y'all,

I’ve played tons of MMOs but I always end up coming back to Mabinogi because nothing else captures that pure sandbox freedom. If you're sick of theme-park MMOs forcing you down a linear path, Mabi is just built different.

You get zero classes so you can do archery, magic, blacksmithing, and music all on one character. The rebirth system lets you reset your level and keep your skills without ever making alts. You can also just ignore combat completely and spend weeks cooking, shearing sheep, or chilling on your homestead. Even the combat isn't just mindless hotkey spamming since you actually have to read enemy tells like rock-paper-scissors. Plus, the social scene rules with people still sitting around campfires sharing food and playing music.

It definitely has old-school jank, but if you want an actual fantasy life instead of an endless gear treadmill, it's unmatched.

And the game is still active after 22 years so it says alot.

The game is getting a full engine rework aswell. PEAK

Is there a specific CarPlay setup for the Honda CBR650R?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there’s any specific Apple CarPlay system or aftermarket setup that works well with the Honda CBR650R?

I’ve seen a lot of generic motorcycle CarPlay screens on AliExpress/Amazon, but I’m not sure if any of them actually fit properly on the bike or integrate well with the handlebars and dash setup.

Does this sounds bad?

Does this sounds that bad? Got this replica exhaust system for free when I bought the bike and I decided to install it myself to test my abilities.

I don’t have 1200 euros laying around for the original one at the moment.

Should I leave it or put the stock back?

Motorcycle springs

Im having an issue with the exhaust springs on my motorcycle. No matter how much force I apply, I can’t get the springs to hook onto the exhaust. I’ve tried using a spring puller tool and different installation angles, but the springs still seem too short to reach the mounting points.
The exhaust is an Austin Racing (replica), and I’m starting to think the springs may be the wrong size or have lost tension over time.

Does anyone know:

How to properly measure an exhaust spring for replacement?

What dimensions I need to check (free length, hook-to-hook length, wire diameter, etc.)?

Any good places to buy replacement exhaust springs?

Whether universal exhaust springs are usually fine, or if I need Austin Racing-specific ones?

I’ve attached photos of the exhaust mounting points and the current springs.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Does anyone knows a website that has bigger springs? At least 9cm and 11,5 cm

Painting the exhaust of my cbr650

Probably a dumb question but is it safe if I paint my exhaust black? Or will the temperature ruin the paint and might damaged the exhaust?

How do you stop chasing speed on motorcycles?

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about risk and motorcycles.

I love riding, but I’ve realized I’ve reached a point in life where I don’t want to keep taking unnecessary risks every time I get on the bike. The problem is that whenever I ride something with power, the urge to accelerate hard is always there, even when I know it’s not smart.

For people who went through something similar, how did you change your mindset or riding habits? Did you switch bikes, avoid certain roads, focus on track days, mature out of it, or something else?

I still want to enjoy motorcycles, just in a way that’s sustainable and doesn’t constantly tempt me into doing dangerous stuff.

How can I raise the handlebars on my CBR650R for a more comfortable riding position?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a Honda CBR650R and I love the bike overall, but I’m finding the riding position a bit too aggressive on longer rides. My wrists and lower back start to feel it after a while, so I’m looking for ways to make it more comfortable.

I was wondering what options are available to raise the handlebars a bit or bring them closer. Are handlebar risers a good solution for this bike, and if so, are there any specific brands or setups you’d recommend? Also, are there any downsides I should be aware of (like cable length issues or changes in handling)?

If anyone has done a comfort-focused setup on the CBR650R, I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you.

Thanks in advance!

Looking for a more comfortable bikes for city and long trips

I currently ride a Honda CBR650R, but I’m starting to find it a bit uncomfortable for longer trips.

I’ve been looking for something more comfortable and practical, and the Honda NC750X caught my eye. The upright position, better wind protection, and extra practicality seem like a good fit.

Has anyone switched from a sport bike to the NC750X or something similar? Is it much better for long rides and commuting, or should I consider other options?

I wont sell my CBR650R, just need something more casual and comfortable.

My budget is around 6k to 7k euros.

Thanks.

Procuro uma mota mais confortavel para viagens longas e dia a dia.

De momento conduzo uma Honda CBR650R, mas estou a começar a achá-la um pouco desconfortável para viagens mais longas.

Tenho estado a procurar algo mais confortável e prático, e a Honda NC750X chamou-me a atenção.

Obrigado.
