I did a thing!!

I built this media wall a couple years ago and the tv wasn’t at optimal viewing placement. Well a $20 linear actuator and still have some fine tweaking and trim to do but it brings it down to the right height and closer which makes it more immersive.

I swear Ryobi has the most useful selection of tools

Loving this little guy. It has the right amount of speed and doesn’t fling the cleaner chemicals everywhere. Being waterproof is a plus. Made short work of the tub and shower. What else do you guys use this tool for?

Audio from one capture card goes to both instances of OBS running.

I’m trying to record VHS tapes from two VCR’s. Each has its own capture card but the audio from one capture card goes to both instances of OBS running in Mac. How do I isolate each capture cards audio to only one instance of the software? I can do video from each capture card to their own instance but only one audio.

Do y’all unplug your equipment in severe weather?

Just curious to if y’all unplug your AV equipment when severe weather rolls through?

Half priced books pickup. Demo worthy audio.

Picked this up thinking it might have a good audio track. I was right. Deep bass, and one of those standard Blu-ray’s that has Atmos. Picture looked good too.

Can’t say enough about these LG dual inverters.

A couple years ago the central AC unit went out (it was from 1996). I have a small house (750 square feet). I bought two of these dual inverters from LG and never looked back. They work great albeit a little more expensive than some other units, but they work great. The app is awesome and can set schedules which is nice. I got the 10k btu for the living room and an 8.5k btu for bedroom and recently just got the 6k Btu for the spare bedroom.

Game changer!!

I pulled the trigger (on my leaf blower and weed eater) and got this edge battery. Changed the game for performance. I posted on here asking if I should get it and many said “just get 40 volt”. But all my power tools and lawn equipment is HP 18v. My leaf blower would kind of bog down with a 6AH on full blast after a bout a minute. I put this in there and no bogging down, just full power all day long (well for as long as I need it). It spiced up the HP weed eater pretty good, but I never really had a problem with that. I don’t have a big yard at all and that’s why I stick to 18v. What really blew my mind is the shop vac. That thing went non stop for about 20 mins at least.

WTF am I doing wrong?

Is this shroud and cup wheel just not compatible with this grinder? The shroud is as deep as it can go on the grinder. I used a spacer but this is as close as I can get the wheel to the lip of the dust shroud. This isn’t practical or safe because I need to press too hard to get the wheel to engage with the concrete. Do I need a bigger spacer? Do I need a deeper cup wheel that’s 1.5 -2” deep?

Onkyo RZ30

I was watching Gran Turismo and during one of the race scenes the sound just stopped working. The receiver did not shut off, and no codes on the display. I did have it a little louder than usual (-14db) but I’m running an external amp (outlaw 5000x). Pretty sure it wasn’t the external amp because the atmos speakers run off the onkyos internal amp.I thought it was weird so I turned off the receiver and started it back up. I have it set to -25db on startup and it did it again at -25db. Sound came on and then went away again. It did this a total of 3 times but never shut down or went into protect mode. It is in an open cubby so has plenty of room to breathe. I finally just turned it off and pulled it out, checked connections and the sound was working again and did not stop like before, but I never went higher than -16db which is what I usually watch movies at. From google, it sounds like a handshake issue, but idk. Anyone experience this before?

Stage 1 tuner?

I’ve have a 2015 FXDL 103ci it is not an HO model even though it has the HO air cleaner. The bike has no tuner. I get some minor decel pop. But since putting new pipes on (Vance and Hines Big shots) and a new air filter, I figure I might as well get a tuner and complete the stage 1. Cams are a few years down the road so I just want to get the most out of what I have. I’ve been hearing get a Powervision from fuel moto. Chat says power commander?

Ryobi HP angle grinder. PBLAG02. Grinding cup sits below guard. Can I remove guard?

I need to grind some dry lock off basement walls. The guard covers the cup disc, essentially rendering half the disc useless and can only grind at an angle (hence angle grinder Hugh?). I need to be able to use the whole surface of the disc, or I’ll be grinding into the block and not just taking off the surface dry lock.

Can I use this to narrow a crack for polyurethane injections into these?

I need to narrow a crack in a basement wall for polyurethane injection. Can I use this or do I need a polymer mortar/cement?

To aggressive?

Working on polyurethane injections into these cracks. Have been chipping off the dry lock and was wondering if this grinding wheel will be to aggressive. I plan to go lightly but don’t want to annihilate the wall.

Should I just make a swale in the middle here for runoff?

I’m trying to avoid window wells because that creates another problem for drainage and I can’t build the dirt high enough on the foundation to slope all the way out. Should I just make a swale in the middle and run it to the back yard?

Stainless steel flex pipe for 2012 3.5

I upgraded my exhaust on my 2012 Fusion sport 2WD with a Magnaflow exhaust. However, I can’t find any stainless flex pipes and these eBay junk ones just rust out. Anyone know where I can get a stainless steel flex pipe. A universal one doesn’t work because of the flange that connects to the Ypipe.

What kind of concrete or cement to use to patch exterior foundation?

Taking out this fence post so I can get to the foundation corner that has some erosion or pieces that have chipped off. What kind of product should I use to patch h that? Should I screw a couple tapcons in there and do I need an adhesive?

Talk me into an 18v Edge battery!!

So I have this 18V HP whisper series blower. I use a 6AH HP battery with it and I don’t have a big yard at all. I also use this blower to dry my Harley off after a wash. It starts up fast and pushes all the air I need, however, after about a minute of use, you can tell that there is some power loss. I’m assuming because it’s a high draw tool and the battery, even though it’s an HP, loses some effectiveness. I was thinking about getting the 12ah edge battery, but that might be overkill. Seeing the 8ah one might balance perfectly in the blower. Will this solve the less power problem after a min or so of use? Will it give me a little more power? I also have an HP Grinder and HP weedeater and HP circ saw.
