paze credits for clover purchases posting!

paze credits for clover purchases posting!

Timeline:

  • June 19, 2026: Bought three $10 gift cards for a Clover restaurant using Paze using a Chase Visa
  • July 02, 2026: Saw three separate Paze credits come in, with a date of June 21, 2026

(just a note: gift card purchases via Paze no longer work, but you can still use it to buy food; I had a $14 meal also successfully credited $10)

paze credited for 3 separate Clover purchases

This is a good alternative if you want to expand your diet beyond Wendys, Dominos, and Little Caesars 😹

Reminder: don’t forget your credits expiring on June 30, 2026

Final reminder for credits; use it or lose it:

  • $150 stubhub/viagogo credit (semiannual)
  • $150 opentable exclusive tables dining credit (semiannual)
  • Two $10 doordash nonrestaurant promo credit
  • $5 doordash restaurant promo credit
  • $10 lyft credit
  • $10 peloton membership credit

And yes, you can use your dining credit to buy gift cards. Will it trigger the credit to buy gift cards? YMMV, but there are a lot of successful datapoints. Rule of thumb: purchase gift cards via the restaurant’s Toast page for the credit to work successfully.

Example Toast gift cards page

many credits to track

One other note: if you're making purchases to use the stubhub/opentable credits, make sure to do them today. Otherwise the purchases might process after June 30, which would trigger the next batch of credits...

If you have any recent datapoints to share, feel free to drop them below!

Where to use credit card dining credits in NYC (several expiring June 30, 2026)

Several popular cards (that many of my nyc friends carry) have large dining credits expiring on June 30, 2026:

  • Amex Plat: $100 Resy Credit (quarterly)
  • Chase Sapphire Reserve: $150 OpenTable Exclusive Tables (semiannual)
  • Amex Gold: $50 Resy Credit (semiannual)
  • And other monthly dining credits (Delta Plat, Delta Reserve, Marriott Brilliant)

Few of my favorite spots from each program in NYC:

  • OpenTable Exclusive Tables (56 restaurants): Scarrs Pizza (cheap), Di An Di, The Modern, Momofuku
  • Resy (2000+ restaurants): Isla & Co, Mission Ceviche
    • I didn’t like Murray Hill’s Hole in the Wall + Two Hands that much…

If you don’t have time to go before the end of the quarter, you should try your luck with a gift card. Restaurants that sell gift cards via a Toast page should qualify, but YMMV. There are some recent June datapoints on successful purchases; here are a few nyc spots that (should) work for the CSR Dining Credit for gift card purchases:

  • Sappeisan
  • Hawksmoor
  • Di an Di
  • Sailor

I wasn’t able to find many recent dps on Resy gift card spots, but maybe some folks here may have some experiences with getting credited?

btw: if you haven’t used your dining benefits yet, you probably need to either go sometime today or buy a gift card asap. Eg if you make the purchase on June 29/30, there’s a chance it could get processed afterwards, meaning it wouldn’t trigger the credit…

Good luck!

Reminder: use your credit card dining benefits in Philly by June 30, 2026 (Q2)

Several credit cards have big dining credits that are expiring soon:

  • Chase sapphire reserve: $150 opentable exclusive tables credit per half of the year
  • Amex plat: $100 resy credit per quarter
  • Amex Gold: $50 resy credit per half of the year
  • And some others (Marriott brilliant, Delta plat/reserve)

If you haven’t used it yet, you still have some time. Philly spots I liked for my credits:

  • CSR: Vernick Fish (rly yummy), Honeysuckle
  • Resy: Sampan, Double Knot, Rosy’s Taco Bar

Honeysuckle is also part of inKind, so potentially good stacking opportunities there

But if you can’t make it to a restaurant in time, you should buy a gift card (usually works if you can buy the gift card via the restaurant’s Toast online page). Here are some spots that should work for gift card purchases, based on recent user success datapoints

  • CSR: a kitchen, Honeysuckle, pine street grill, ogawa sushi
  • Resy: Kalaya

(if you have any philly specific datapoint successes for your gift card purchases, lmk and I’ll tally them up; I can't find a lot of Philly/Resy datapoints for some reason)

And remember: you probably want to make the purchase/eat before June 30. If the purchase processes after June 30, it will track for the next credit allocation

Guide: how to find Clover merchants & use Paze at checkout (+ caveats/known issues)

As of June 21, you can still use Paze at checkout for 27,000+ Clover merchants (consisting mostly of 26k restaurants; ~1,400 retail stores, convenience, liquor stores, and more) & potentially use your "spend $10/earn $10" Paze promos

However, there are some caveats that are noted below

How to find Clover merchants that accept Paze:

Use a map tool. I made one that:

  1. Only shows Clover merchants that accept Paze at checkout
  2. Signals if online ordering is disabled*
  3. Filters for merchants that sell Gift Cards (~930)
  4. Toggles for the 1.4k merchants outside of restaurants (spas, fitness, retail, etc)
  5. Identifies stacking opps with Bilt Neighborhood, Rakuten Dining, inKind, and Resy

Remember: if you use a Chase card, you can also stack with the ongoing 10x bonus points promo.

*This seems to change frequently, so I'd probably check the restaurant's Clover ordering site for a final assessment

How to use Paze at checkout for Clover merchants:

Note: do not use the Clover app. Paze won’t show up there.

  1. Navigate to the merchant’s Clover website (you can find those directly linked in the map tool)
  2. Add items to your cart and then click “Continue to checkout”
  3. Sign in to your Clover account or Check out as guest [I don’t believe this matters]
  4. Paze should appear grayed out until you enter your contact info

You should also see the spend $10/earn $10 promo appear here with your eligible cards.

sample $10 gift card purchase through Paze at Clover PoS restaurant

Caveats/Known issues:

Unfortunately, this isn't working perfectly for every purchase

  • Some restaurants are cancelled/refunding gift card purchases (source). For instance, I purchased 10 Seoul Prime gift cards, and all 10 were cancelled shortly after; however, it seems restaurant dependent since I also bought other gift cards elsewhere that were not cancelled (source)
  • Some restaurants are unaware that people can order through Clover (source), which is causing some pain when folks arrive to pick up their orders (source)
  • For the spend $10/earn $10 promo, no one has received any credit anywhere for this, so YMMV—it may work, it may not. Only risk what you’re willing to put into restaurant money

Paze spend $10 earn $10 promo at 25k restaurants (some inKind stacking opps)

There's an amazing Paze promotion going on: spend $10, earn $10 back—up to 10 times when using Paze checkout. It's been rippling through the internet since it's essentially a 100% rebate on $10 Paze purchases. That deal itself is already really good

I discovered today that you can use Paze when checking out online at restaurants that use Clover as their point of sale. There are ~25,000 restaurants eligible (which is already a good dining related deal in itself), but I then realized 32 of those restaurants also are a part of inKind!

Here's one stacking idea for a restaurant like Seoul Prime in DC:

  • Buy gift cards to Seoul Prime using Clover/Paze
    • $10 off from $10+ purchase via Paze
    • Plus earns points from dining spend
  • Buy inKind gift cards via Costco with the ongoing $64.99 for $100 deal

Pay the main bill with the inKind Cash and then pay the tip using the gift card(s)

The caveat here is that you can only use Paze for online checkout orders, so I'm not totally sure how you do it for other inKind restaurants where you can't buy a gift card. Maybe someone has ideas?

You could also stack this with Bilt or Rakuten Dining as well! I've made a previous post here about MealMaxxer, so this is a new update with the ongoing sick Paze promo :)

paze spend $10, get $10 back: where still works

surprised there isn't a post about paze here. tldr; paze is an alternative to apple pay backed by capital one & they have a promo where you can use a card like the Venture X and spend $10 to get $10 back, up to 10 times (for a maximum of $100 back per eligible card)

for example, i bought over $800 worth of gift cards/dunkin donuts and expect to get $800 back as statement credit

it's been slowly getting nerfed over the last few days, but there are still several high ROI opportunities left:

  1. Dunkin donuts: buy gift cards through the mobile app
  2. Payrange: my friend was able to stock up on laundromat credits
  3. Sephora: has some items that are going for ~$10
  4. Wendys, Whataburger, Dominos: use paze at checkout normally
  5. Clover Restaurants: there are 25k restaurants where you can pay with Paze at online checkout. ~800 of them also sell gift cards
  6. Fanatics/Lids: can buy gift cards or just pay with Paze at checkout

not an exhaustive list by any means, but hopefully outlines at least some of the major options still left

use paze at 25k clover restaurants (+ buy gift cards)

you can use paze to pay online at ~25,000 US restaurants

800ish spots also sell gift cards where you can also use Paze at checkout

quick guide on how to:

  1. Find an eligible restaurant & navigate to the Clover restaurant link
  2. Add items to your cart (food or gift cards)
  3. At checkout, you should see Paze as an option to pay the bill

new paze promo! Spend $10, get $10 back

New Paze Promo: Spend $10, get $10 back (as a statement credit)—up to 10 times when you use Paze® checkout, offered by banks and credit unions.

This is not specifically associated with Chase cards this time around. But the stacking potential is immense.

CSR LTO Ended, CSP Back in Limelight with 100k Offer

CSR 150k bonus ended today June 15 at around 8 am EST, but CSP is back in business with a new limited time bonus: Earn 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening

The interesting thing is that the bonus eligibility rules have changed for the Preferred/Reserve.

For the Preferred, you should be eligible for this bonus even if you have gotten the Reserve's bonus previously (they are considered separate from each other)

  • This credit card is unavailable to you if you currently have one open.
  • The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card.
  • We may also consider the number of cards you have opened and closed in determining your bonus eligibility.

And you can concurrently have both the Reserve and the Preferred

afaik tho, the bonuses are once per lifetime for each card

good luck! see how it goes & find a friends referral link

It returns: 100k Chase Sapphire Preferred (and offer history)

Bonus Details: Earn 100,000 bonus points after you spend $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening (no end date noted yet)

https://preview.redd.it/yg7arizlwf7h1.png?width=1652&format=png&auto=webp&s=7511d753dbff89d8c6b63c89d118f1b025c5a6ce

Are you eligible? From CSP bonus guidelines:

  • This credit card is unavailable to you if you currently have one open.
  • The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card.
  • We may also consider the number of cards you have opened and closed in determining your bonus eligibility.

Even despite the 4:3 Hyatt nerf (which is in effect for anyone new applying for this card as of today), I still think the Preferred is going to be pretty popular… especially with this bonus

New Ink Business Unlimited/Cash + Sapphire Reserve for Business Limited Time Offers

chase has launched several new (huge) limited time bonus offers for some of its business cards:

  • Ink Business Cash: Earn $1,000 when you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first four months after account opening.
  • Ink Business Unlimited: Earn $1,000 bonus cash back after you spend $8,000 on purchases in the first four months from account opening.
  • Sapphire Reserve for Business: Earn 200,000 bonus points after you spend $30,000 on purchases in your first 6 months from account opening.

i’m a big fan of the Ink Cash/Ink Unlimited offers. Those are huge bonuses for cards with no annual fee. I think these may be the best (publicly available) offers ever for the cards? but note the eligibility rule changes:

>The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you have ever had this card or any other Chase for Business card without an annual fee. We may also consider factors pertinent to your business in determining your bonus eligibility.

also fun fact, the Sapphire Reserve for Business has been around for nearly a year now

Good luck!

analyzing sapphire preferred 4:3 hyatt deval with reserve's 1:1 transfer

the big news about the sapphire preferred & ink business preferred today is that the Hyatt transfer ratio is dropping from 1:1 to 4:3... but the sapphire reserve retains 1:1

wanted to make a quick post to analyze the math on the reserve relative to this upcoming change

Sorry, what's changing about the Preferred?

Quick table to summarize everything: https://www.nextcard.com/tools/chase-sapphire-preferred-benefit-comparison

https://preview.redd.it/h8evb050wg6h1.png?width=1552&format=png&auto=webp&s=fb62ddc36db54fd4b3a45405bb5d08641169e13e

Not shown here is that the Ink Preferred 1:1 Hyatt is also dropping down to 4:3. This is effective October 1, 2026, for existing cardmembers and for new cardmembers who apply on or after October 1, 2026 (different timeline for ink preferred than sapphire preferred)

How does this impact the Sapphire Reserve?

If you value Hyatt points, the Reserve's positioning just got a whole lot stronger. Back then, it was more of a "here are the credits and benefits" I get. For some people, the math works out well. Example calculation of my Reserve ROI

https://preview.redd.it/3r5fcuk1wg6h1.png?width=2402&format=png&auto=webp&s=dd0720043248c06b9b7a4af4bd07acf353c55eb4

But now with the Hyatt 1:1 vs 4:3 buff in play... the math is interesting because the opportunity cost of hyatt points becomes valued in any Sapphire Reserve analysis

Might be obvious, but the more Hyatt points you transfer, the more value you get with the 1:1 transfer ratio

Chase points transferred Sapphire Reserve Hyatt points at 1:1 Sapphire Preferred Hyatt points at 4:3 Hyatt points difference Added value (Difference value at 1.81 cpp)
25,000 25,000 18,750 6,250 $113
50,000 50,000 37,500 12,500 $226
100,000 100,000 75,000 25,000 $453

I'm a big Hyatt user, so the differential is quite significant for me and boosts the Reserve's value significantly. This math is relevant for the Ink Preferred too, since that's also set to go down to 4:3

Is now a good time to get the Sapphire Reserve?

The timing is pretty good. Given the ongoing limited time sign up bonus of 150k points (after spending $6k in 3 months), all the math works out nicely. Just be wary that the offer is ending on June 15, 2026 at 9 am EST

I think the critical factor here is: do you plan on using your points with Hyatt? If yes, then the value add is with the Reserve, especially after October 01, 2026 when all other Chase cardholders only have 4:3 transfers

In the meantime, folks who apply for the Preferred before June 15, 2026 will retain 1:1 Hyatt through Oct 01, 2026. But, that window is closing soon...

huge chase sapphire preferred changes announced (hyatt 4:3)

tldr; $95 annual fee remains the same & new credits/benefits coming, but hyatt transfer going to 4:3 and 10% anniversary bonus benefit is going away as well

Quick breakdown of the changes.

New, good & useful things coming on June 15, 2026 for both new + existing cardholders

  1. Expanded $100 Chase Travel Hotel Credit (doubled from $50)
  2. New $120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS credit every four years
  3. New Complimentary Apple TV subscription for one year; when activated by Dec 31, 2026
  4. New Emergency Evacuation & Transportation Coverage ontop of existing travel protections
  5. New 3x earning categories: gas, EV charging, and vacation homes (for top brands like Airbnb, Vrbo, and more)

The bad/sad:

  • Hyatt transfer ratio going from 1:1 to 4:3
    • The Ink Business Preferred is also going from 1:1 to 4:3 effective October 1, 2026 for existing cardmembers
  • 10% Anniversary Bonus Benefit is also being winded down

When you lose Hyatt 1:1 and 10% anniversary bonus for the Preferred totally depends on when you apply for the card. Anyone who applies for the Preferred before June 15, 2026 keeps Hyatt 1:1 and 10% anniversary bonus through October 01, 2026

If you apply on or after June 15, 2026, you immediately get the new 4:3 ratio

What are your thoughts on these changes?

Big Sapphire Preferred changes announced (new credits, Hyatt deval)

Big thing: $95 annual fee remains the same (thankfully)

I summarized all the changes in the chart below, but here’s a quick breakdown:

New, good things coming on June 15, 2026:

  • Expanded $100 Chase Travel Hotel Credit (doubled from $50)
  • New $120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS credit every four years
  • New Complimentary Apple TV subscription for one year; when activated by Dec 31, 2026
  • New Emergency Evacuation & Transportation Coverage ontop of existing travel protections
  • New 3x earning categories: gas, EV charging, and vacation homes (for top brands like Airbnb, Vrbo, and more)

The bad/sad:

  • Hyatt transfer ratio going from 1:1 to 4:3
  • 10% Anniversary Bonus Benefit is also being winded down

Why am I posting in a Reserve subreddit? Well the interesting thing is that the Reserve retains 1:1 transfers... so it now creates an interesting dynamic for the CSR

Anyways, are these changes good? Maybe? It really depends who you ask. If you care about Hyatt points, this is a sad change. If you don’t, then you might really like the added perks/benefits

Upcoming deval: Sapphire Preferred to transfer 4:3 Hyatt

tldr; Sapphire Preferred hyatt transfer will be devalued to 4:3 (Sapphire Reserve remains at 1:1)

Ok another day, another devaluation 😞 but to put it simply, this is tough to see given the recent award chart shuffle.

Timeline of when these changes take place:

  • If you applied for the Preferred before June 15, 2026, you’ll keep 1:1 Hyatt transfers through October 01, 2026—afterwards, you’ll get the 4:3 transfer rate
  • If you apply for the Preferred on or after June 15, 2026, you’ll transfer to Hyatt at the lower 4:3 rate

What else is changing?

  • Expanded $100 Chase Travel Hotel Credit (doubled from $50)
  • New $120 trusted traveler credit every four years
  • New Complimentary Apple TV subscription for one year (you must activate by Dec 31, 2026)
  • New Emergency Evacuation & Transportation Coverage (on top of the existing travel protections)
  • New 3x earning categories: gas, EV charging, and vacation homes (Airbnb, Vrbo, and more)
  • Goodbye 10% anniversary bonus points (also follows same timeline for when you lose/keep Hyatt 1:1 transfers)

Is this good? I think it’s good if you don’t care about Hyatt or points. Literally you can now get $600+ in marketed face value from the card from the credits/benefits. But, for someone like me who would not value the new trusted traveler credit or Apple TV subscription, the 4:3 reduction is quite a loss in my book

Major Chase Sapphire Preferred changes announced

tldr; $95 annual fee remains the same & new credits/benefits coming, but at the expense of Hyatt 1:1 transfer ratio and 10% anniversary bonus benefit

The good (coming on June 15, 2026)

  • Expanded $100 Chase Travel Hotel Credit (doubled from $50)
  • New $120 Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS credit every four years
  • New Complimentary Apple TV subscription for one year
  • New Emergency Evacuation & Transportation Coverage
  • New 3x earning categories: gas, EV charging, and vacation homes (Airbnb, Vrbo, and more)

The bad:

  • Hyatt transfer ratio will be devalued from 1:1 to 4:3
  • 10% Anniversary Bonus Benefit is also being winded down

When these changes take place (all depends on when you apply for the Preferred)

  • If you applied for the Preferred prior to June 15, 2026: you’ll keep Hyatt 1:1 and the 10% bonus through October 01, 2026. Afterwards, gg… down to 4:3 and no more anniversary bonus
  • If you apply for the Preferred on or after June 15, 2026: 4:3 Hyatt effective immediately

My take? Seems to vary depending on who you ask. If you value points & Hyatt redemptions, this is a rough change. But if you don’t, the Preferred now potentially offers $600+ in usable credits and benefits (DoorDash perks remain)... and that’s a lot for a $95 annual fee card
