So one aspect of lightsaber transit I can't seem to get a 100% answer for!

Long story short, I'm going in a couple weeks, building a lightsaber, I understand you can carry it onboard a flight, as I did that in January when I purchased one of the collectors box sets from the springs. But one thing I still can't even get a straight answer from the airline about it, is if I build a saber and carry it on, is that my full "carry on" bag? If I have a backpack and a saber, am I still able to get another smaller suitcase onboard if need be, as my interpretation was they treat the saber like something you just bought in the airport! Because people do that all the time with gift shop bags and whatnot. Is it just up to the discretion of whoever happens to be on duty that day?

Emailed about parts availability, starting to think I may need to refund on the ground.

After wanting to go for so many years and being unable to build the one I want, absolutely gutting.

RIP.

10 year old me is still excited. Anybody else have a cat on the DSI flipnote hatena community?

I'm being led to doubt the authenticity of my prized Revolt Prutah. What say the consensus?

Do I need to burn a dealer to the ground? Or am I okay. It's been several years since acquisition.

Family member is going to be an Istanbul and presumably around this general area, are any of these shops reputable, and would they sell ancients?

Exactly that. I know that there are a lot of really strict and specific export laws, but which stores would be both reputable for authentic items and items to begin with? Trying to get some Byzantine stuff if possible.

EDIT: yeah I get the picture, unless you hate the persons guts, avoid that.

Are "magic keepers" still sold?

I don't recall seeing them in January, than again I wasn't exactly looking for em.

Honestly my main short term fear is used shops jacking up prices

Yes PS4 and PS5 games are still being made, but what's to stop the market from deciding "oh so now these are collectible as the final gen"

Picked this up under the impression it's harod the great, any ideas?

If it's harod, baller!!! I've been after him! If not, I got it for a steal and it's in fantastic shape so I'm happy either way!

Amazing QC! Thank you US Mint!

Massive scuff on the surface. Inexcusable to let this pass. "Best of the mint?" Perhaps not their best.

I was told to use UV light on the flag and I don't even know what I'm looking for! Does this look good?

Needless to say I'm now scared out of my mind.

Anybody able to help with translation of a Japanese war flag?

u/ilove60sstuff — 2 months ago

Got myself one hell of a flag! Anybody know a good source for translation?

I was told it came out of a museum in New England. It's absolutely beautiful and I'm so glad to finally have one in my collection! Finally have the crown jewel piece of my Japanese collection.
