H&R .32 self loader extractor question.

Long story short, the loaded chamber indicator pin is part of the extractor as im led to believe, however it will not return flush to the slide. The latch underneath will move it up and down but it won't stay down. As far as I can tell there's no gunk inside that should be effecting it, any ideas?

Can't remember where he got it from, but did so just for a display for his old office. As he said "I know it's probably just some Chinese tourist piece" for what it's worth, the blade IS actually fairly sharp, it's sliced through a fair bit of stuff. It's not a full blade by any means. Obviously it's a tourism thing but is there any "value" to it?
