What would you like to see from the next mainline Tales game?

For me personally, I'd say:

  • More party members. Not a huge amount, but maybe around 7 or 8, with 4 slots in your main team.
  • Have majority of the characters be a little older. Late 20s/early 30s. We have enough games where the main cast are primarily teenagers/early 20s and I'm getting too old to relate to teenagers.
  • A world map and an airship or some kind of travel mechanic to fly around in, like in earlier titles.
  • Bring back the titles system from Graces, or something similar where we can unlock specific skills and attributes.
  • A morally grey protagonist like Yuri or Velvet, where they're not afraid to get their hands dirty for the greater good. Make it so that their ideals clash with another party member/s and causes conflict too.

What would be yours?

Best non battle Tales music?

So what's some non battle music that you really enjoy? Whether it's a dungeon theme, town music, field music, character themes etc, anything that's not a battle theme, I'm interested to hear them. A few of mine:

  1. Autelina Palace - Tales of Arise

  2. Magilou's Theme - Tales of Berseria

  3. The Spirit Guides With the Melodies of Water (Water Temple) - Tales of Zestiria

  4. On the Other Side of the Mirage (Yormgen) - Tales of Vesperia

  5. Mamoritai ~White Wishes~ (Tales of Graces opening theme) - BoA

  6. The Way of the Embodied Dragon (final dungeon) - Tales of Berseria

  7. A Vow of Unity (Dahngrest) - Tales of Vesperia

  8. The Villains Conspiracy (Ghasfarost) - Tales of Vesperia

  9. Rena (Top) - Tales of Dark Souls/Arise

  10. Velvets Theme - Tales of Berseria

[TOMT][SONG] Background music in old Caddicarus videos

I've been trying to find this for ages, but I need to know a certain background music that Caddicarus often used in his old videos.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d7r5eHw_F6Y It's the harp music used at the start when he's introducing the video. Does anyone know where it's from?

Which character did you have the most misconception over before you actually watched the show?

For me it's probably Light from Death Note. From what I'd heard and read about him before I watched the show, I thought he started off as a normal high school kid and it was a slow descent into madness, so when I actually watched it, I was fairly surprised to realise he's pretty much just a straight up psychopath from the very beginning.

What was yours? Feel free to tag spoilers if you want.

Anime with characters similar to Levi

So I'm looking for anime that has a character with a similar personality/vibe to Levi Ackerman. Stoic, no nonsense, strong willed, willing to get their hands dirty but who also has a heart of gold and deeply cares for people, they're just not very good at expressing themselves or purposefully keep people at arms length for various reasons. Mature, well written characters who aren't edgy or just outright assholes to other characters for the sake of it.

TIA :)

My Preferences as a mostly RPG enjoyer

Possibly some spicy takes here.
Nier Gestalt/Replicant/Automata are tied as my favourite and I honestly can't choose between so I just chose the OG Nier because it's the game that first got me into the series. Enjoy.

Looking for a Minecraft horror mod video set in a creepy abandoned apartment building

So there's this certain Minecraft horror mod video I watched a few months ago where a group of guys (think 3 or 4) explore this creepy abandoned apartment building. I think it might have been set in Russia? Or Ukraine? Possibly something about Chernobyl? I can't remember much but it did have monsters in it that would attack the players. There were zombies too and at one point a mutated/zombie bear that they all freaked out over. They spent a lot of the video making a base in the apartment building and reinforcing it. If you don't know the exact video I'm talking about then hopefully you could let me know the name of the mod so I can search it myself! Thanks

Looking for relaxing crafting/base building games

Hi. As the title said I'm looking for survival games with a heavy emphasis on base building and crafting. Not really looking for games that mostly focus on survival where I have to constantly manage things like my hunger, thirst etc, more of a laid back relaxing time where I can just focus on exploring, collecting stuff, crafting and building. Farming elements too is a plus. Some games that I've played that I've really enjoyed include:

  • Dragon Quest Builders 2
  • Palworld
  • Farm Together 1 & 2
  • Luma Island
  • My Time at Portia/Sandrock
  • Solarpunk

I'm mainly just looking for more survival games where the main focus is creativity and freedom to build, with lots of options to customise my base, and less on hardcore survival. Also, I've played Terraria and Stardew Valley and I couldn't get into them, so please don't recommend me those.

Maybe I can even find a game that scratches that same itch as DQB2 does for me 😄

Looking for games on Playstation and Steam. I don't have a Switch anymore.

Recommend me a dark fantasy anime

I'd really like to watch more dark anime in the same vein as something like Berserk, Claymore, Attack on Titan, Dororo etc. Medieval fantasy is my favourite genre but I don't mind any kind of fantasy, or even sci fi or other genres. I'm looking for anime with that same bleak and depressing tone as the ones mentioned earlier. Thanks (:

[TOMT][Book][90s or earlier]Alien and Human fall in love

So there's this book I read in school in the 90s. It was in my school library and I remember the two main characters were called Amber and Don. Amber was an alien who either looked like a human woman or was able to disguise herself as a human woman. Don was a human. The two met and slowly fell in love, with Amber keeping her true identity secret. It was set in modern times (90s I assume, possibly 80s? Not sure but I read it in the mid to late 90s.) I don't remember the conclusion but it was obviously a very tame romance considering it was in a primary school. I vaguely remember the book cover being dark. Black/dark brown and I think there was orange on it too? If anyone can help then I appreciate it.

[Early 2000s][Xbox] Area of a game with werewolves and a wall.

So I vividly remember playing an area of a game back in the 2000s on my old Xbox. I'm like 70% the game is Fable 2 but I haven't been able to confirm this specific area so I might be getting it mixed up with another game? Anyway in the area, it's like an open field with a very tall wall that spanned the whole field. Possibly a castle wall, or maybe a cliff wall? The only enemies that spawned were very vicious werewolf like creatures (balverines?) and there were a lot of them. I remember it being pretty difficult as a lot of them spawned. I think it was also fairly late game too. I'm almost certain it was Fable 2 but I haven't yet been able to pinpoint what area/level it was. I remember it was pretty empty except for this wall and the army of werewolves, and used to creep me out a little. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
