What happened with Tana and Todd/Jeff?

I looked in this sub and I don’t know if things got deleted but I can’t find much…

Why was Jeff ambushing Tana with Todd Smith so bad? I’ve seen people speculate that’s why her and Jeff are no longer friends.

My husband doesn’t have a dad and I’m pregnant with our first son- I can tell it’s bringing a lot up for him.

I’m not sure where else to get some insight on this

My husband’s father has never been in his life. I think the last time my husband spoke to his father was when he was 10 and it was on the phone. He doesn’t even live in the same country.
They have 0 contact, sometimes his mom will tell him about anything she hears about him.

The other day my husband said “I wonder if I should tell my dad he’s going to be a grandpa” this caught me so off guard. I was immediately defensive and said “f no. he doesn’t make an effort to be in your life, he doesn’t deserve to be in our son’s life” but then we talked about it again because I realized I put my feelings ahead of his. He said his father is dead to him but he said he just wondered if it was a good idea.

I know it hurts my husband deeply, he says it doesn’t but I just know. Before we got married, he cried saying he wished his dad would be there.
His mom is around but she’s not emotional at all, she doesn’t show love and care.. she gives my husband material things instead of asks him for favors or calls about family gossip.

Thankfully, he’s fairly close with my family but I know it’s not the same for him. I wish I could love him enough to fill that void but unfortunately it’s not how life works )):

I feel so awful whenever he mentions his father or lack of family… I tell him my family is his as well and they all love him so so much, even more than me lol!

Having our first baby, a boy, he’s excited but I can tell he’s scared because he doesn’t have much idea on how to be a good father.

[New Jersey] Need to change last name on existing claim

My account and ID me has my maiden name, I already submitted a claim.

I spoke to someone yesterday and she told me when I certify they’ll give me the option to update my info but that wasn’t true.

I submitted a request on ID me to change my last name but I can’t figure out how to do it on the unemployment website.

Google tells me to call the reemployment call center but they never answer no matter when I call.

He’s pissed at me but can’t resist giving me love eyes

I didnt let him sit in the new cooking pots I bought so he’s upset with me….
But while apologizing and telling him he’s a handsome boy, he couldn’t stop the love eyes.

Should you or should you not show strong emotions around kids? -Mom to be

I’ve been watching a lot of reality shows relating to pregnancy and parenting, a lot of the parents when crying about something sad, will tell their young child they are just so happy and that they are okay.

I just really don’t want my son to grow up thinking he has to hide his emotions.

Is it better for them to disguise your real feelings if it relates to something they won’t understand? Or is it okay to briefly explain “I’m sad because of xyz but it’ll be okay”

GET THIS!!!

I got these to use for grilled cheese and they are awesome!!!

It comes with enough bread for 3 sandwiches

It’s FIRM and doesn’t fall apart at all.
After putting mayo, cheese, and frying… it’s intact.

And they really are giant pieces so I can have an actual sandwich or toast.

“Just wait” comments. I’m over it

When you’re pregnant apparently you’re not allowed to be tired

My family always argues with me because apparently I have to pass my baby around to people to ‘train’ him not to cry if I leave him.
I tell them “it’s fine, he’s allowed to miss his mom” and they all laugh and go “just you wait. Wait until you’re begging everyone for a break”

If I’m wrong I’m wrong but I feel like I’m allowed to decide what I want to do with my baby… and I’m just tired of the constant comments.

Anterior placenta + 20 weeks- am I feeling movement?

I wasn’t expecting to feel anything for a few more weeks.

But around 18 weeks, I started to notice weird feelings.
First it felt like tiny quick pokes from the inside, then it felt like I was about to get intense cramps but I never did and it would just feel like this ‘flip’ happened.

Now for the past couple of days, it feels like the bottom of my uterus is vibrating? it feels like when you get a random muscle spasm. It’s so weird!!!! None of it is constant, it happens at the most random moments and is brief.

I’m laying in bed right now and it just felt like a fish maybe? It felt like something heavy ‘whooshed’ by.

HOW do I pick which item is best for my baby?

I feel like I’m going insane.
I’m due in 4 months and am switching items on my registry all the time.

I do research, pick some bottles I think would work then I get a ton of videos on why they are bad.

Diapers and wipes- I pick some and say okay cool then I read all these problems and chemicals in them and all these horrible things. I have to be honest, I was just going to use whatever brand people give at my shower!

Also my in law is also pregnant and is very granola.
I’m not shaming what she thinks is best but she really stresses me out. “This soap has this and these diapers have that” “I would never use that on my baby”

Every little thing has some chemical in it or some issue and suddenly I’m questioning everything.

WIBTAH if I don’t go to a baby shower because my husband isn’t going?

My husbands cousin is pregnant and due a month before me.
Her sister gave us the invitation together and didn’t say anything about it being women only.
I RSVPD today and then just now she told me she didn’t realize it’s girls only

I honestly don’t want to go any more but if she comes to ours, I’m going to feel like an asshole.

A few reasons I don’t want to go- I would be sitting alone and im a socially anxious person so I would just feel like a loser by myself. Unfortunately I’m not great at being outgoing and making conversation.

I don’t drive so my husband would drive me 30 minutes, drop me off and go home, then come pick me up.

I know there wouldn’t be drama, well not by me at least.
His other cousins S.O will be there and she’s always been really awful to me, said rude things after I had a miscarriage and since I’m pregnant myself, I’m just extremely picky about the energy around me.
I will feel extremely uncomfortable around her and since my husband won’t be there, I would end up stressed out. Starting problems at someone else’s event is not beneath her unfortunately.

Cat had diarrhea outside of litter box- fed up

I’m 5 months pregnant so please keep in mind that is adding to the stress.

Our cat is 1 years old and a male.

He has always had bowel issues since we got him since he was 5 months old.

We’ve taken him to the vet several times, tried multiple remedies.. and nothing helps.

He’s pooped outside of his litter box one other time.

Now, he just did it again and we actually saw it this time.
First he went in his litter box, like sat on the edge of the opening then came out and scratched at his litter mat then pooped right on it.

My husband cleans his littler box multiple times a day.

We’ve spent so much money on vets, food, medications.

We don’t know what to do.

They lied- I do not feel better in the 2nd trimester

I know everyone is different- it’s more of a pathetic joke because I’m currently more miserable than before 😭😭

I’ve been having a lot of GI issues, I’m not sure if they are just pregnancy related since I also had some before pregnancy too but god I’m suffering.

I’m also exhausted… I had a few good days but I’m back to needing to sleep a lot.

I just took a 4 hour ‘nap’

I hope it gets better soon, I’m 14 weeks so there’s still hope

Scared of all the people saying they regret having kids.

I didn’t know there was a regretful parenting subreddit? and TikTok is filled with people saying they wish they never had kids…

I’ve loved kids ever since I was little and I know having my own child will be way different than helping care for them but I’d like to think I have a ton of patience with kids.

My husband and I are as ready as we can be and are more than capable of caring for our child

We know it’s not going to be some walk in the park

All these kinds of posts are making me so nervous…
Every one has a different experience but a lot of people really make it seem like it’s hell on earth and like they completely ruined their lives ):

Are these just people who didn’t want kids in the first place? or is it seriously going to be that bad?
