Can we talk about all the huge apartment buildings going up?

Within the past maybe 5 years there have been MANY buildings built, and more slotted to be. One or two downtown, like 5 up Princess a bit, and a few more at the top of Princess. A hotel up there was converted into apartments. And they're mostly massive!

Some of the ones on Princess are specifically for students. So, to me thats a good thing. It'll hopefully get them put of those beautiful old houses and get home owners in there to fix them up and bring them back to life.

But as for all the rest.. are there just that many people moving to Kingston?? Im curious...

Another silver lining might be the prices of housing could come down. Its too expensive in a town this size...

Ok, ill just finished the last HGX2 and man. You guys killed it! Literally!

This show has gotten better every iteration! The improv of the contestants on top of the dark future theme works so well!

The fact that anyone can ve involved as contestant or I guess judge.. Just mixes it up.

​

And id like to throw a special shout out to Julie. There's a hidden comedic talent in that one. The distain of being on the show could be put on, or real. Couldn't tell. Although it seemed she really didn't like the shocking. 😆

Loved all of it. Ed's character is great. Amber as well. I can't wait to see more. This is definitely an idea that can be fleshed out! More lore!

Also Holden... so good. Thank you for your sacrifice. I hope that was Brown paint...

Im surprised to hear Marcus was unaware of the connection between Ween and SpongeBob.

I thought it was a fun Ween fact most people knew...

So, SpongeBob was directly inspired by the Molusk. The themes, the music, even SB's voice!

​

Ween is even asked by the creator so write a song for the show and they come up with Loop de Loop.

Then, when SB's first movie comes out, the closing credits are headed by Ocean Man!

One more fun SB fact... Bikini Bottom is named after Bikini Atoll, the location in the Pacific Ocean where the US tested nuclear weapons. Hence where the talking sea creatures came from.

I had no idea Japan actually put on a live-action Mortal Kombat stage show. The effects are insane.

I honestly had no idea this existed until today.

This is a real live-action Mortal Kombat stage production in Japan featuring actual performers, choreography, costumes, practical effects, and stage combat.

​

The production quality is way higher than I expected and some of the character entrances and effects genuinely feel like they came straight from the games.

​

What do you think? Would you buy tickets to see a full Mortal Kombat stage show?

I know this is a bit left field, but does anyone here know audio and would like to work on animation projects with me?

I'm just starting to learn animation and am discovering the audio part is just as complicated as the drawing/animating part... So, I'm looking for someone who likes to play with audio and would like to make.. stuff with me. I can do the voices, I just need some mixing and background and whathaveyous... Anyways, shot in the dark. Trying to keep it local! or.. whatevs.

Id like to make a rope/chain that stretches out and goes back, like a spring or slinky... Anyways knot suggestions?

I want to make a rope to connect my knife to my pants. Like a wallet chain. But, I'd like to be able to use the knife without having to detach the rope. But I also dont want to have 3feet of rope hanging by my side.

What would y'all suggest to tie something that can be pulled and relax back to a shorter length?

Im thinking maybe basic cobra knots, but spaced out so there's a circle of cord in between each one.. 🤷

Wore these for about 2 years, on and off during the warmer months. Soaked a few times, when dirty. They are/were so comfy! But alas, I've become a bigger.. man. Check my sashiko handiwork.

I just wanted to post a rave review for OT. I am just starting to teach myself animation. I tried Blender, and it was just so much new stuff, new shortcuts, and a big software that I just didn't want to start completely over. So, after reading some reviews, I am now working with OT, and I love it!

I've been using Adobe products forever, and I don't know how common this is, but the same shortcuts and ideas are present in OT. Ctrl C for cut, Ctrl G for group, how you can click in a group to edit the pieces... It's intuitive, and well.. already known. I don't know if other softwares use the same shortcuts, but I'm glad to have found one that does.

Anyways, that's it!
