I want to replay all Gothic games on the couch on Steam Deck. I'm starting with Archolos on Steam Deck OLED, game downloaded, proton 8.0.5, GD3D11 in the system folder. The game looks great, but it runs between 35-50fps which is ok, but when i go out of town the game frequently drops frames every few seconds to 12fps after freezing for quarter of a second. Did anyone fix this yet?

I currently have Steam Deck OLED 512GB as i got a fantastic deal for it, it's great for what it is but it obviously lacks a raw performance for more demanding titles, as i was hoping to play C2077 and upcoming Blood of Dawnwalker in respectable form. I'm looking to sell the Deck and get a 2nd hand matt black 2024 Ally X with 24gb RAM. Have anyone tried to do away with Windows 11 on it and turn it into Steam Deck, as I prefer Linux based Steam OS over W11. Is it possible? Is it difficult? What are the overall experiences?

Hi all, I'm only starting with anime, seen only Bebop, Frieren, Berserk and watching Baki now. I've made an extensive list of just around a 100 anime titles i want to watch so far. I've a separate caregory for tear jerkers and something that will make your eyes bawl, if i ever feel like dabbling into it. Could you help me rank and complete the list, ranking my titles and adding your own? I'd like in some sense to build up to my emotional devastation, instead of accidentaly starting with the saddest one. Am i missing some big titles in that category? Which ones should i leave as the last ones? I've seen grave of the fireflies.

I'm very new to emulation, i have tried emulating 1999 Pharaoh on S23 Ultra or Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ so far, i have gotten as far an intro credits playing, i have main menu browing sounds but no video. Play store has only garbage, I'd love Archolos, Gothic and Gothic II on the phone and Pharaih in the tablet while travelling. I'd appreciate an indication if these are possible to emulate?

Piggybacking off of the very recent post of IS200 prices in Ireland, let's play a game and state a sport car that you think will increase in value in the future? We see IS200 skyrocketing in prices, while they could be hand for a bucket of dirt few years ago. I currently see any form of an e39 disappearing, they become increasingly rare and the prices are rising. I'd nominate a manual e46 320cd as one of the next ones, they can still be had for cheap, but they'll age like fine wine, agricultural m47 is reliable and economic.

I'm looking to put on some different wheels on my e46, I'm not sleeping on money so I'm looking for good 2nd hand wheels in my area that don't break the bank. All wheels with 5x120 fitment are expensive, severly damaged or just stock and boring looking. All the best wheels seems to be in 5x114 and 5x112 fitments, like almost new JR3 18" 5x112 €400. Did anyone successfully changed their fitment without spending crazy money and which path have you taken?

The opinion is absolutely subjective, as everyone have their own definition, hence I'm curious what seasoned gamers can come up with? Whether it's an old title from the 90s like Final Fantasy, a remake, or a more modern title like the Witcher 3. It doesn't have to be an open world game like Skyrim, it can be a corridor game like TLoU or even Gears of War to be honest. If that great adventure stretches over 1, 2 or 3 games that is also fine.

As opposed to the usual questions of who's th best character, strongest, most good or evil, who do you think is simply lame? Their lines didn't land, they didn't have any meaningful impact in the game or you know they were written to be taken seriously but it fell flat on the face. I'll start with a low hanging fruit that needs no explanation to kickstart this thread, Kai Leng in Mass Effect 3/LE. His dialogue lines were lame, he had a cheesy pseudo cyberpunk ninja outfit, he came out of nowhere, had little impact on the story and the fight against him was a joke it was impossible to take him as a serious threat.

33M here, I feel like I'm stuck at this point of just not being able to find a partner. Perhaps unlike all other posts this is not all bleak. I always had friends around me until college time, even tho we were the same age in college i always felt like a kid amongst the adults, i had bad thoughts of inadequacy and I've isolated myself bad, i still had "friends" and went to the parties, i got my social experiences, singing as a drunk group, doing stupid stuff, yet I've never felt a deeper connection with anyone as a friend, even more so with any girl in a romantic way. After college i went through a period of deep depression, suicidal thoughts etc, but i worked through them myself and accepted my loneliness and depression turned into numbness. Now I've reconnected with some good old friends, got some new ones, I've got hobbies, i travel, i meet up, i make people laugh all the time, I lit up again! But i find it so hard to find a partner here in Ireland, I'm still romantically closed off and i can't open up as a natural born introvert that's trying, yet at the same time the only ladies I've came across are either into drinking and 110% extrovertism or a 1000 hobbies at once, the only ones that were just normal chill ladies were obviously in the relationship already. It's such a frustrating place to be in where you feel like you've almost beat loneliness, yet the last steo being so seemingly far and to be reminded that once your friends get married, all will be set back and you'll be by yourself again more than you'd want.

The previous owner deleted the airbox, installed exhaust and left it running lean. I want to flash in the EVO 1 tune that TuneECU still provides via android app that i already installed. To my understanding, the windows version cannot flash bikes up to 2014 anymore, but 2014-2018 KTM bikes can still be flashed via android app to get rid of the damaging lean AFR, then 2018 onwards the ECUs got truly locked? Have you guys succesfully used that method on 2014-2018 bikes, can you provide any tips especially using K-DCAN cable in combination with KTM 6 pin cable? I've a trip over the weekend and would like tonhave that done.

I no longer have a garage, I'm calling around to have valves done on a KTM 690 SMC-R, 90% places tell me they don't do valves, or they're booked 3-4months ahead (okay, i kinda get it). M50 Honda told me they'll charge me around €1000 for a valve job! On a fecking thumper!!!!! The previous owner did some mods and left the bike running lean, KTM relased official EVO 1 map just for that eventuality, and of course the official KTM dealer in south or north cannot do a simple ECU flash because of reasons. So I'll rent out a wee garage by myself for a day, buy a pack of shims and do the fecking valve job as an amateur in 2h, that's what it took me when i had a garage, buy a cable of amazon, MX Link, TuneECU and flash it myself. Why you can have everything done anywhere else in EU, only in Ireland, as always, nothing can be done or the price is off the fecking wall.

Who doesn't like a good twisty road to have a bit of fun. I've been riding for a good few years now, I've ended up with a 2015 KTM 690 SMC-R and I'll probably keep it forever as it's analog pure perfection, but a supernoto is a certified twisty muncher. So I'm seeking out some of the best twisties in the country, which can be a good reason for a whole day tour just to reach an awesome spot. A good few km run, good asphalt, elevation changes, good visibility, show me what you know. Being based in Co. Monaghan, so far I've got:

- Ardee - Kells, this entire road is like a go kart track with great asphalt quality and multiple elevation changes, decent visibility.

- Armagh - Hamiltonsbawn - Tandragee - especially the latter part, another certified go kart track, great asphalt, perfect corners, mid visibility

- Five Points - Killybegs - Carrick, ending before Sliabh Liag, perfect asphalt, amazing twisties, great visibility, a bit faster paced than the other two.

I ride in Ireland, we get some nice roads with nice visibility and you rarely see cops if you want to go for a balls out ride, but there's always a chance of Guards (our cops) sitting somewhere since our contry is so small, you can never be sure. I always wondered as i had an image in my mind that the US is so vast with states that have parts that by data are so scarsilly populated, that surely there has to be parts of your states where you could hop on a k7 gixxer and go for a balls out ride as far as your vision and reaction time allows you to go reasonably? Meaning that there surely has to be parts of your country where cops only go if called, not for casual patrol? Like I've just found a US-12 in Idaho, man look at the map, the views, the street view for quality of asphalt, looks like a perfect "road race track" you'd want to go at at attack mode. Maybe US-12 is a main road so a poor example but you know what I mean, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana etc

I had a k7 750 and a brutal m, race ready and dynoed KTM 690smcr, after both got stolen i got another 690 smc-r now, but my dream is to come to US, get another super sport and do my own version of trouble free Pikes Peak type of riding around, somewhere in US. Hi guys, bought myself another 2015 KTM 690 SMCR, as opposed to the first one that got stolen, this was was not dyno tuned. Bought it with an exhaust system and an airbox delete but it's running lean. It pops on decel, engine breaking slows it down while going down steep Irish hills, and temps go up to 75% when she idles for 1 min at the lights. Other than dyno, how do you guys mitigate it? Is that a TuneECU job with some custom map I should look at? I've dabbled in some car diagnostic software and PC III in the past so i know what I'm looking it if that's the path? Thanks!

Gents, got myself another 690 smcr after few years of the last one, took it for 14h of touring across ireland yesterday, the bike is amazing, but my butt is tender and my prostate has been turned into dust. Next weekend I've 3 days of North Coast and Donegal, what solution or product do fellow sumo tourers use for a logner period of time? I was thinking of some cycling gel type trouser inserts? Definetly need something that disperses the bodyweight over the entire cheeks, the narrowness is the issue.

Perhaps this has been asked before so apologies. I'm looking for some truly scary anime to watch, I've watched only 3 anime in total so far but i dig it and i want something specific. Movies and TV shows don't cut it since a long time, can't find a decent book, games still do a great job at making you properly scared, but what about anime? I don't care for cheap jump scares, i don't care for blood and gore if that's the only thing the anime can offer, although it's welcome. But in terms of truly building a feeling of dread, horror and unease, perhaps a use of animation style, colours, music and especially sounds, what's out there? I'm not looking for generic gore shows, I'm looking for something truly scary, you know what I'm talking about.
