I have been collecting since 2021, and this is most of my collection, but I have probably another 1-200 in 3 binders divided by family, more mature and then horror. I do have to share the shelf space with my video game collection at the moment though.
I have been looking for one for a while, I will be calling to see if I can take this off their hands
This morning, I watched an “exploring with Josh” YouTube video exploring Laconia State School. It is an abandoned school for mentally disabled (feeble minded was the term used by the school) children that was in operation from 1903-1991 and then used as a prison from 2000-2009 an in 1956 Great Bay Association (Now know as: Great Bay Services) who are disability advocates, produced a documentary covering the poor living conditions at the school. In the YouTube video Josh puts up clips (with sound) from the documentary and the only source I can find for any clips of the documentary is a 2010 film “Lost in Laconia” but it’s my understanding it does not feature the full documentary. I would like to dive deeper into the subject of the school including the documentary.
The full “Lost in Laconia” Film can only be found
Through “1L Media (1LM) on YouTube who seem to have directed, produced and “distributed” the film. They are based in NH as well. The channel has been inactive since they posted the film on April 9 2013, their only activity was posting trailers snd teasers for the film in 2012. Their website linked on the YouTube has been inactive since 2021 and the Facebook linked on the website links back to Wix

In the spring I will be the technical director for my high schools production of Mama Mia, and I need music to play . We like to play music that fits into the time period of the show we’re doing such as last year when we did hairspray we got together a playlist of songs from the 60s.
Below are the songs I have already (all from my music taste)
Play That Funky Music - Wild Cherry
SuperSonic rocket ship - The Kinks
One Way or Another - Blondie
Copacabana - Barry Manilow
My Sharona - The Knack

Stuck in the Middle with you - Stealers Wheel
Love Grows (Where My Rosemary Goes) - Edison Lighthouse
Rich Girl - Daryl Hall & John Oates
Please Mr. Postman - Carpenters
Don’t go breakin my heart - Elton John
Rock with you - MJ
Don’t stop til you get enough - MJ
Workin Day and Night - MJ
Blame it on the Boogie - The Jacksons

Stayin' Alive- Bee Gees
Don't Stop Me Now- Queen
I’m still standing - Elton John
gypsy tramps and thieves - Cher
Dark Lady - Cher
UPDATE: Ignore the LSOH; I was incorrect.
So I do musical theatre at my high school (I’m a junior) and every spring we do a musical, and last year we did hairspray, this year we’re doing mama Mia and I think it would be rlly cool and fun if we did an 80s themed show. We have a pretty big group, with drama club being the biggest club in our school.

I’m so excited, I just saw a TikTok about this and I had no idea this was happening and I thought I had missed it but thankfully I didn’t, this is going to be my first non HS production I’ve seen 😁
I (m16) recently moved to Florida from living in Georgia my whole life and I’m on a quest to find a new church with my grandma who’s recently relocated from New Mexico and we tried a church today a congregational Methodist Church and before the sermon even started they had the whole church do a pledge to both the flags and it just felt odd, the people were nice but we will not be returning
So I (16m) and my grandma are going to church this morning and I didn’t realize that my sister (6) was coming along with us, I don’t hate the idea, but when I turned to Christ at the end of may 2025, they didn’t believe me when I said I was saved, all the times I said I wanted to get baptized when I went to sermons and Bible studies every Sunday and youth every Wednesday night even when the rest of youth was at camp and it was just me, one of the teachers and my youth pastors wife. Every other Sunday when we would go to a local nursing home and have a Bible study after the sermon at our church had ended.
I’m not mad that my sister is coming with me I just feel like it’s wrong for them to be so hard on me finding Christ just to send her no problem.

I’m 16 going on 17 and as I enter into my junior year of high school, I’m really starting to look into my future after high school. During High school I have spent a lot of my time doing the plays and musicals and I’ve even won awards, I’ve also done a lot of work in my schools audio visual tech and film class as well as going into my second year in yearbook. theatre is my passion but I also have a passion for video/tv production and like working for a newspaper as well as technology recently I’ve started thinking about becoming a theatre teacher after high school because I love theatre and I feel like that’s one of the best ways to share my passion and stuff so I’m just looking for advice on how others decided.
I recently purchased a huge lot of physical media off someone and one of the items was a dvd season set of a show that i had never heard of and when i opened it up there wasn’t even a single spot for a disc to go and now im in search of a replacement because atm the discs are all just in the case loose. ( I have checked Demco, and ive found some on eBay but im not paying $15 shipping for a damn DVD case )
I’m buying a Genesis soon and I’m looking to get the CD, but everything I see from the player to the games are crazy expensive, what justifies it for you
I find the story of HD-DVD VS Blu-Ray interesting and I love collecting, and I mean no hate in this I’m just curious to see what everyone has to say
I have been seriously collecting since 2021, this is everything I have boxed, I still have 3 binders of movies, a binder of CDs and 2 mini binders of video games.
I hold them in a intec GB/NDS/N3DS case, stacked 3 high.
I actually just picked up the GBA SP, today for $70 with 2 Spyro games $5 each and the charger!
