Would anyone be interested in starting a LA concert club (that focuses mostly on local/midlevel artists)?
EDIT: DISCORD LINK IS HERE - https://discord.gg/mB8CbxG8c
What the title says! I play and have been trying to go to a fair amount of local shows**. Unfortunately, most of my friends and gf aren't always interested, so would love to find some friends that are interested!
Would anyone be interested in joining? Was thinking we could just coordinate on potential concerts in advance and try to meet up at show time!
Benefits - cool friends, shows are usually pretty cheap
Cons - none
LMK!
**Local shows = happy to see some larger stadium acts, but think a range of (very) local to mid-level artists (i.e., Zebulon, Wiltern, ATB, Silverlake Lounge, etc.)

Trying to nail down some slower ideas - if you like this, check out some James Blackshaw (esp her smoke rose up forever)

Any SoCal AP players? Would love to connect and hang!
Hey folks! I would love to connect with any other folks in SoCal (basically LA, but OC or SD works as well) who are into AP!
Would just love to connect and hang. Could also put a show or something together if it's cool!
Let me know! Google hasn't been helpful in finding folks lol (William Tyler lmk if you're reading this post!)

One of the best Fahey interviews - gets into the ethos behind AP, being vulnerable and so much more! Great listen for all AP fans

Hey folks! Released a new fingerstyle instrumental on a 12-string electric I think ya'll would like!
Been dropping music the past year and working on sharing it! Big fingerstyle fan of the classics (Chet, Jerry, Tommy) and have a deep love of American Primitivism as well.
LMK what you think!

Free Ibanez Talman in Los Angeles! Looking for beginner/ school!
Hey guys!
Looking to giveaway this Ibanez Talman bass to a beginner or school in Los Angeles. Rarely use and would like to share the gift of music.
Plays well, minor cosmetic scratches, and a loose knob that can be fixed with a setup.
If you are in LA, I’m in Culver!
Thanks!

Free Ibanez Talman Bass - looking for a beginner or school!
Hey guys! Looking to giveaway this Ibanez Talman bass, to a beginner or school. I barely use it and would like to share the gift of music.
There’s a few cosmetic flaws and loose knobs, but doesn’t affect playability and can easily be fixed with a setup.
Let me know if you’re interested! I’m in Culver.
Thanks!

Catching up on personal finance. Is there any reason to not mass deposit several months of saved checks into VOO and VTI (50-50 split)?
This is for a personal brokerage account.
Thanks!
