hi all, I’ve never played an original GBA, so I need some recommendations for what the best/most accurate shader is? im using MUOS if that helps at all!

I have tried a few I’ve seen on older Reddit posts, but I’m not sure which to go with.

i play PS1 games on it too, snd they’ve looked fine without a shader, but I’m currently playing Fire Emblem and cant help but feel it’s a bit washed out looking. thanks!!

hi all, im new to the emulation console scene, just got a rg34xxsp and loving it so far! been playing ps1 and gba games. I also just got ship of harkinian, after reading it runs well online - mines does not run so good. any open area, even Kokiri village, has lag and audio cut out. I’ve looked at the settings and thete is nothing very demanding visually enabled.

wondering if this is because my device has 1gb of ram? I wasn’t even aware older versions had 2gb until after i bought it! is there any way to improve portmaster performance?

no worries if not, as I said I mainly play gba and ps1 and they run great!

was walking to a friend about this recently. it’s a top 5 game of all time for me, my playtime for my first play through is something like 150 hours.

but I cannot play through it again. every time I start it up, I stop at horseshoe overlook. it’s not because I’ve gone off it or dont enjoy playing anymore, I think it’s just that I know I wont be experiencing it all for the first time again, all the amazing story beats and everything.

or am I just talking shit?

on pc with my headphones on specifically - sounds like im a coward but I cant bring myself to explore or mine for that long any mob popping out terrifies me 😭 does anyone who has felt like this and been able to conquer it have any tips?

never as bad on console, I think a factor may be that when I’m on the pc i am facing away from my door in real life, I know people say that doesn’t help at all

I’m walking around a planet and it’s stuttering constantly! even walking in a straight line, every few seconds it stutters. playing on the switch 2, only got the game a few days ago on sale. glad I didn’t pay full price!

Just tried Ctrl I but this only moves the cursor forward a few spaces. thanks!

was gonna use a 4GB SD card for the actual modding then a 120GB or something USB pen for the games. would that work?

have never modded a Wii before!

hi all, this past few days I’ve noticed my cartridge copy of new leaf has been crashing fairly frequently, sometimes I get an error message (DS is modded), sometimes it just black screens and kicks me back to the home menu

i downloaded it through hshop and transferred my save and it seems to be working fine

would this be an issue with either the new leaf cartridge or the cartridge slot on my 3ds? the new leaf cartridge looks fine, I had a peek inside the cartridge slot too and best I can see it’s clean

is there anything I can do? has never happened before, only recently modded my ds and slightly worried Thats the cause, though I don’t see how - every game I have through hshop hasn’t crashed once.
