Did anyone see this during the solar eclipse on August 12th?

At 19:41 during the partial phase, I was wearing my glasses and saw an orange vertical 'tear' pass at full speed across the black background below the sun and to the right. It lasted maybe one or two seconds at most. I was in Burgos, in case that helps. I thought of the International Space Station, maybe the sun's reflection made it look orange (?). There’s a website where you can track its path by date and time, but only for the present and future; it doesn't let you check past dates. I hate being left in the dark about these things. What I'm sure of is that it wasn't a flare caused by my eyes or the glasses; it was something actually there, and it lasted very little time

Third week of flowering, with a bit of training

She was a mutation I didn't want to throw away, her cotyledons were microscopic when she sprouted. So I left her in a small pot and decided to see how she'd evolve, since I have other strains anyway. Well, in the end, she's really surprising me. She's been fun!

Saying hi and letting you know what I think 💚

Medication before surgery?

For those who have already had surgery or are about to, did your doctor prescribe gabapentin/pregabalin some time before the operation? Thanks, and wishing you all the best

Hi! Has anyone here tried LDN naltrexone for their nerve entrapment/irritation?

It might not be very well known, but I wonder if anyone has tried it, since in low doses it can reduce neuroinflammation and block pain by modulating glial cells and increasing endorphins

Help! What is the best way to fix a nitrogen lockout?

First, water abundantly, allowing the water to run off (just water with pH corrected), and then water with more water + liquid fertilizer and pH corrected? Or directly water with water + the fertilizer with the pH corrected, without a prior root flush? I was watering frequently with fertilizer, but later I discovered it was significantly less than the amount recommended for the product, and I wasn't measuring the pH. Thanks!

For people who have had multiple EMGs over time...

Have your conduction values gotten worse in the time between one electromyogram and another, or have they yielded more or less the same results without the damage changing much?

Extending the Shelf Life of the Solution

Hello! I have 50 mg pills, but even if I only use half a pill in distilled water, I would end up having to discard a large amount at the end of the recommended 15-day storage period because I am starting with a 0.5 mg dose. I am wondering if it would be acceptable to add 20% of a high-purity alcohol like vodka to the distilled water mixture to extend the shelf life without risks of contamination. Another option would be to add what pharmacies use to make syrups, but it is not as easy to get and I assume it would be more expensive

Unpleasant experience at the pharmacy

Well, today I went to process my prescription. At that moment, I only had a photo of it, so I wanted to see if they would accept it. The first pharmacist had no problem with it and ordered the medication; it was supposed to arrive by the afternoon. In the afternoon, I went to pick it up, and a different pharmacist assisted me. Suddenly, the photo wasn't good enough anymore—he wanted the physical prescription (which I understand, and I had already planned on bringing if there was an issue). The real problem was that his treatment towards me was very dismissive. He started asking biased questions and making judgmental remarks (like asking why I was only prescribed one box...). At one point, when I mentioned that his coworker had ordered it for me, he actually went over to tell her it was an opioid!! And that they couldn't sell that kind of thing like that. I told him it wasn't an opioid—quite the opposite, in fact—and I even ended up giving explanations about the reasons why I take it, when I shouldn't have had to, etc. The funniest part is that he already had the receipt printed out for the purchase and decided at the last second not to sell it to me. I don't care, because tomorrow I'm going back with the physical prescription, and I am going to call him out on his awful manners, which were full of suspicion and bad judgments, as if I were a junkie. Plus, other customers were walking in right at that moment, so I think you can imagine how unpleasant it was.

Anyone on LDN for nerve entrapment neuropathy?

I'm thinking of trying this to see if it helps at all with the pain or the entrapment itself. Since there is surely neuroinflammation and some central sensitization after three very limiting years and having tried everything. So I would like to see what experiences others have had with neuropathic pain and, specifically, with nerve entrapment. I can get a prescription for this, although I'm also afraid it might complicate things more in some way I don't know about; I've read very different things around here regarding other people's experiences

Don't do it

Well, after 6 months of not smoking—which didn't even cost me much effort—yesterday I decided to go to the tobacconist and buy the whole 'idiot pack' all over again. Maybe I was looking for that false sense of comfort, since I'm not going through the best time of my life right now, but things weren't great when I quit either, and I still managed to do it anyway.

Now my mouth tastes like crap, my house does too, the phlegm is back, and I feel like my bike rides are already getting tougher than they've been these past few months. I have a whole pouch of rolling tobacco that I feel stupidly obligated to finish, even though I'm not even enjoying smoking. Don't do it

Weird growth: good pace but extremely small leaves?

Ever since germination, this Bubba has been strangely small compared to other strains I’ve grown before. On the other hand, its growth rate seems normal. Is this typical for this strain or a specific phenotype? Will it stretch out later, or am I missing something? Yes, I had read that Bubba is a slow grower, but just to give you an idea, the large leaf in the photo is less than an inch long

I lost a sister, she gained a son

I love my nephew for the innocent being that he is, even though I don't like kids and would never have one myself. Mostly because I feel like it's throwing them into a shitty world.

My sister and I don't live in the same city. We didn't have a super close relationship before, but we did care about each other and shared things. All of that disappeared, and now, whenever we interact, it's only about the baby/motherhood. I have a pretty fucked-up illness and she doesn't even ask how I am anymore; and when I bring it up with her, she denies it

The only thing I have left after fighting and fighting all these years is a surgery with very low success rates. After that, it's all over

I know some of you don't even have the chance for a surgery to reverse your neuropathy. Before, I used to avoid it and was afraid of it, but it’s been years of trying physiotherapy in so many ways, a daily struggle in every single sense (as you well know), traveling, and anything else you can think of. The only thing I got out of it was more pain from the treatments—like the last one, which I didn't want to do, but the doctor insisted, and it has intensified the pain a hundredfold. Not to mention the financial situation and the lack of empathy from everyone else. It hits really hard.

I'm only 30 years old; I can't and I don't want to spend the rest of my life with this pain and so many limitations, I simply refuse to. I will gather my last bit of strength for this surgery, then I'll have to spend another year waiting for results, and when that fails, I will leave in peace.

I'm sorry for how harsh this sounds, and I know you are all going through the same thing and more. I send a big hug to everyone. And I hope that sooner rather than later, neuropathy is recognized and treated the way it deserves to be.
