I AM PISSED OFF right now with this dog Buster that is my sister's family dog we've been dog sitting for... Suddenly in the last 3 weeks or so he decides to be more aggressive regarding things that he will try to eat that he shouldn't or things to just rip to shred. Well tonight he decides to get at a 50th anniversary DVD box set that I gave my dad for Father's Day that he really wanted.

Now this box set was under a few magazines in a pile and somehow he got it out after knocking 2 magazines to the floor, and without anyone knowing it dragged the box set out to the lawn and proceeded to rip it to shreds. Three of the 4 DVD cases are fine but one of them he chewed up the corner big time and ripped the cardboard box they're all in, to shreds! This is a 50th Anniversary box set of Victory at Sea. This was a series in the 50s that aired on TV about the war (WWII)... Something he really wanted. I have now had to buy another box set since this happened...

Oh and before that, earlier he got at 4th of July dinner on the table (right after we had our dinner) and dragged some of it off the table, to the floor making a mess...

I love this dog but right now pissing me off... We've had him long enough (many months)... 3 more weeks and he goes back to his family...

I have a simple question here. I recently started thinking about my possible 401k and I'm already at the age of 50 here and I don't even know how to go about finding my 401k so I can see if there's any money there. The reason I'm skeptical is because most of my life I worked retail jobs and one waitressing job at a retirement home. Then I had a long period out of work because I developed some chronic health issues that I still deal with (get SSI now for 6 years), but not long ago I started working again in June 2025 part time as an Uber Eats delivery driver. . is there a legit website I can use to find out?? I ask because I Googled it and tried to log in to a recommended site but for some reason it had trouble with my social security number even though I have an account there...

I was using the U.S. Department of Labor Retirement Savings Lost and Found website... ANY HELP PLEASE!!

And of course I would forget about Uber's planner and schedule my delivery times for Friday - Sunday and now availability at all for my selected areas... I sure hope it'll still allow me to login at the normal times I do. I'm not a fan of this planner. I need to set an alarm in my phone every Friday morning as a reminder I think

You just have a simple question I'm curious about.. it has to do with oil life percentage on your car.. I have a great mechanic shop that I've been going to probably for over two decades.. My question is because this place you had previous owners until they decided to sell it and retire and it was a husband and wife and he's a mechanic and she did the front desk. She always said that once your oil life percentage hits 50% that you should bring your car in. I used to chew my dad out about the fact that it would get lower than 50% and he still wouldn't do anything (car in his name and he helps out with repairs and such)...

With the new owners they don't say that. And I've come to realize you don't need to be at 50% from my understanding, that I could be at 15% or 0% oil life and be okay, right?? What I didn't like though was that last time I had an oil change it just kept getting put off and put off and for the first time ever in my life I noticed oil life can get to like negative 300%. That became concerning to me because I use my car for my job as an Uber Eats delivery driver. So once it got into like negative 10% and kept going, it quickly racked up while driving, that number changed fast. Like I would drive 2 blocks and the number would be different.

My question it now is since I'm at 15% and I haven't even hit the 70,000 mile mark which is on the sticker for my next oil change and the wrench light is on. We are going to work on getting that oil change again. And the oil changes are happening more frequently because I now for the last year use my old 2010 Honda CRV for my job (Yes, I have a 16 year old SUV with under 70K miles... I'm at roughly 69K now)...

WHAT PERCENTAGE IS GOOD FOR THINKING ABOUT MAKING AN APPOINTMENT?? I ask all this because I'm glad I was notified by my dashboard on my car that I'm at 15% oil life. It changed from displaying my car's mileage, to the oil life percentage and the wrench light went on a few days ago...

This car was bought used in 2015 and as much as a 16-year-old car is not always ideal, it's a Honda and still runs great, has lower mileage than a lot of 16-year-old cars and so I'm hoping because it's a Honda and they last forever (this is my 3rd Honda), that I can at least get another 5 years out of this car. I can't afford to trade this in right now or anything...

I have a question here and I'm hoping someone can answer. I've dealt with chronic pain from GI issues for the last 14 years since 2012 and my migraine headaches for a little bit longer, however they were more sporadic until the pandemic when they became chronic. Now for the last like 3 months I've been having nerve pain, or at least what I think is nerve pain and the nurse practitioner at my doctor's office stinks the same thing, strictly in my left thigh...

She sent a referral to the neurology department at a well-respected teaching hospital that's part of a university here in California (go there for my other issues) and I was on a waitlist for longer than I care to be (2-3 months), and finally got an appointment for 2 weeks from now. I was given a prescription by the NP for Gabapentin and that has helped a bit but my issue is the prescription runs out in 4 days and I'm hoping I'll be able to get her to send in one more prescription for that because this one has zero refills and I just need it to tide me over at least until my neurology appointment. I'm also using Biofreeze patches because I can only do the Gabapentin at night cause it makes me sleepy.

The pain is terrible, I have trouble bending down to pick something up off the floor, I have to go really slow and be have that left leg be at the right angle, I'm limping pretty much all the time. And tonight I just could not get that leg to be very comfortable when sitting down on the couch or even with legs propped up on the couch...

MY QUESTION IS, is there ANYTHING over the counter for nerve pain that anyone else here uses that they would recommend?? Creams, other patches, OTC pills (like Nervive)... Like for example what about Nervive? I know about it but I don't know how well it works.. Or maybe there's something else someone can recommend??

I really am desperate and need something because I also need to be able to do my job which is as an Uber Eats delivery driver and today the pain just got worse as the day went on... Tomorrow I plan to wear a couple Biofreeze patches on my left thigh while I'm out doing my job. I might also consider just 100MG of Gabapentin because that's not too bad. It's just when I take more of it like I do at night then I'm sleepy...

Still don't know what triggered the issue exactly but I remember what I was doing when it came on suddenly and extremely painfully! HELP PLEASE!! SORRY FOR THE LONG RAMBLE...

I'm just wondering if you had your Prop 22 show up yet.. it is Thursday and it's supposed to show up today. Cause the last Prop 22 payment was 2 Thursdays ago. I only do this part time but the last 2 weekends when I normally go out has been a little less due to family situation (and I didn'tgo out on father'sday). But should be 3 days worth (usually 4-6 days worth) of Prop 22 showing up for me today and it is now 10:30 in the morning and there's nothing... Anyone else experiencing this??

I want to say FUCK YOU to Uber Eats and they're sucking ass directions. It didn't help that the customer when I asked him what color are your apartments he kept saying they're the Oak Park apartments. I already knew the damn name. I needed the color of his apartments because on the street that he lives off of there are like five different apartment buildings.

And the first 3 don't have a name out in front. He should have said my apartment building has the name in front. I kept asking him is it the first or the second driveway are you the light green or brown apartments.. Finally somebody was leaving the first set of apartments and I asked them are these Oak Park Apartments they said they said no these are the Branham Oak Apartments and I asked if they knew where what I was looking for was and they said I think those are down the street.

Uber's directions kept having me go in circles and the guy was getting so pissed off and I apologized. He asked if I knew how to contact customer service it was that bad for him... and me. It got so long that Uber canceled. Just before that I found the apartments and I had to ask him are you the driveway before the sign or after the sign. He should have told me he was before the sign...

Uber canceled the delivery and then I suddenly see somebody outside running to the street and then he didn't notice me until I turned around to leave cuz it was canceled and it was him. I had to apologize and tell him that Uber Maps sucks and needs to change. He thought his food was going to be cold I told him I'd spending an insulated bag this whole time. This was a fucked up delivery!

I have a question regarding Ajovy which I've been taking for a while now. I filled my prescription for this month but when I got home I put it in the fridge and I honestly just forgot to take it and here it is the 19th and I can tell I made a mistake in not taking it. The reason is, I've had migraines everyday for the last 3 days. I'm going to take it now but I want to know, because normally I take it at the beginning of the month.. Is it safe if I take it again sometime during the first week of July??

I ask because that's going to be less than a month but I want to get back on track. And also because I will be out of town on a family vacation from July 30th through August 5th, so I want to be able to take it as soon as I come back from vacation. So can I take it in the first week of July or will I experience side effects or something?? I tried Googling it but that was no help...

Has anyone here ever done Uber Eats during the World Cup?? Did you find you had more offers or about the same as normal? I'm asking because it starts on the 11th (Thursday) and goes for 39 days. I plan on trying to deliver on my normal weekends (only do Uber Eats part-time) but will try out also delivering on days the U.S. is playing... I'm in California here (Bay Area part)

This might be a random question but I'm wondering if there are any Uber/Uber Eats drivers who invest with Acorns and have been able to link their Uber Pro card (because it comes with a routing/account number) to make weekly or monthly transfers to your Acorns account??

I've gotten Acorns to send those 2 tiny deposits to my Uber account for account verification, but when I go to enter the 2 amounts with Acorns, it fails to complete verification...

I'm in the process of emailing with Acorns support about it. I just wanted to know if there were any Uber drivers who have done this...??

IF that doesn't end up working, I'm thinking of trying for an Acorns debit account (already have a regular account with a major bank) to have my Uber Eats earnings deposited to and then transfer from there. Question here is, if I end up having to do that, when I do shop and deliver orders can I still use the Uber Pro card when it comes time to pay?? (Because the customer is paying, not me)...
