Best terrarium shop close to Yishun or other places?(cheap)

I have started getting into the terrarium hobby and wanted to know if there’s a place or brands I could get cheap moss/plants/live stocks/substrate.I have been to green chapter and the price there are okay but some stuff are quite expensive

Hopefully you could help me find a good brand of substrate and might change my terrarium to a paludarium for some crabs

Thinking of starting a 10 gallon(60x30x25)(lxbxh) glass tank and keeping vampire crabs

Hi,I’m a Singaporean who was interested in making a paludarium with my 10 gal tank that I haven’t used in a while and thought of keeping vampire crabs.I don’t really know what brands or types of plants to put in the paludarium. So here are my questions

1.Whats a good and cheap brand to buy a tall medium size glass paludarium tank(best if they could ship to Singapore)

2.could I possibly fit 2-5 crabs and small fishes or shrimps?

3.Would the average temp in Singapore(28-30celcius) work for them?

4.Great plants for a beginner friendly paludarium?

5.what type of substrate should I go for

6.must I cover the tank with a lid?

7.other alternative for animals if they aren’t able to fit or cohab?

8.Do I need a misting system?

  1. Do I need a filter?

Ideas and tips for a paludarium (question at the end for Singaporeans)

Hi,I was thinking of making a paludarium as a fun idea. However I have tooooonnnnsssss of questions that I hope could be answered.i already managed to keep isopods so I will be trying to try to add them to my tank same with crabs

I have a 60x30x25cm(lxbxh) which I was thinking of turning into a paludarium and having a slope and having a tidal system.

1.Would a 60x30x25 even fit 2-4 varieties of animals like fishes crabs isopods or even shrimps?

2.could I possibly get a way cheaper alternative for a tank that’s similar to a medium sized pro paludarium from exo terra(for Singaporeans)

3.Would the animals kill each other?

4.will I need a filter or can I just make it self sustaining for the water part.

Beginner tank(did it with my cousin who is somewhat alright with aquariums)

So I gave my cousin a 30x7x20cm tank cause I didn’t have a use for it. he decided to make a small tank since he was bored and had made 1 for a beta fish that he had kept with some plants and wood.So this is what we made (don’t mind the picture on the side). So this is what we did.It has Taiwan moss and a big lava rock.We were thinking of adding a filter and some shrimps soon and may add extra stone soon to the right side.Any tips i should know of what’s good and what’s bad.

What shrimp is good

What other plants I should add

Or other thing you think that I should take note of

Tips on Iwagumi for a beginner aquascaper

Was thinking of making a Iwagumi self sustaining tank with a 30x7x20cm glass tank(idk if that’s possible).I decided to choose it since it looked simple but has something too it that makes it appealing. However I’ve got some questions.

1.Is there a specific moss I should use.

2.Is there any moss i should stay away from

3.since i was making it self sustaining(basically no filter/co2)What fishes/Shrimps/etc should i get?

4(meant for singaporeans)Best shop to get it all?

What isopods work well in 29-30C+

I am currently keeping 2 species of isopod which are pineapple spikies and jupiter both are only quite recent and the jups being the most recent one I got which was just a few days ago.I want to figure out if there are other species that can do well in 29-30C.
By doing well, i mean increasing their birth rate/activity levels/overall wellbeing.

Any Singaporean keepers(Help with legality of certain sp of isopods)

Hi,I just started collecting isopods and was wondering if there were any illegal species.Since Singapore strict law with animals I am quite scared that a species i may buy will be illegal and I don’t want to get caught and fined.
