“Anarchist dies in a Russian prison.
Dmitry Kuznetsov (Vegano Khristolyub Bozhiy), a Russian anti-war activist, was found hanged in a punishment isolation cell in Russia on April 17. He had previously gone on a hunger strike and warned about the risk of being killed in detention. In February 2025, he was sentenced to three years in prison for anti-war statements.
Kuznetsov identified as an anarchist, vegan, pacifist, cosmopolitan and Christian dissident, and criticized the Russian Orthodox Church. He openly opposed Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, calling it fascist and referring to modern Russian fascism as “rashism”. He called Putin “Putler”, compared the Z symbol to Nazi SS insignia, and Russian propaganda to Goebbels’ methods.
Before imprisonment, he was detained after a solo anti-war protest in Voronezh holding a “No War” sign. He also left farewell videos warning he might be killed in prison.
In the past month, at least five political prisoners have reportedly died in Russia. Deaths in custody remain a systemic issue.”

About 2 hours ago, I was sitting at the roundabout at skeoge and a wrecked lexus with a passenger hanging out the window waving what looked like a pistol came flying through and down towards bridge end direction. Was being chased by about 6 or 7 peelers. Does anyone know what was going on? There is nothing on the news about it.
Anyone else at Dublin Pride in Merrion Park yesterday go up to the tent with the sign saying "watch a movie and win a prize" because I was left feeling very upset by the approach of the group to give no content warnings on a video depicting the graphic slaughter of cows, to then corner me immediately after watching it to belittle me for drinking milk. I found it very distasteful and out of place for the event. My girlfriend had asked them what the video was before we watched, too, and all they said was that it was 'about consumerism'. This is the kind of thing that could really impact someone with trauma without giving them the proper warnings before watching. Made me less inclined to become vegan and I'm already a vegetarian who has grown up with parents who work in animal welfare. If anyone else had a similar experience, I'd love to hear that I'm not going crazy.
Edit: emailed the pride organisers about it and it turns out they were not officially part of the event and had snuck in and set up in one of the empty tents! Makes their behaviour even worse.
Antifascist, anarchist, and illegalist Bodya Slam, has been Killed in Action while fighting the russian occupation forces.
He died on May 19th, 2026, in the Huliaipole area.

Post up a few days ago here about the paul Street days, and it has me nostalgic! Looked everywhere and can't fight any of my old pictures. Looked online, and there's nothing i can find from back in the day. Do any of ye out there have pics of the good old days? Bonus points for any pics of drinking in bumhole.
My boy is 10 and has aged really well. Still spry and full of energy going for long walks and the occasional hike and explore. We feed him pretty high-quality tray food and give him fish oils with his dinner and the small few veggies. He's allergic to poultry, so we end up being very selective with what treats he gets. I want him to continue to age well, so I am wondering what older shihtzu owners are doing? We once met a woman with a 20 year old shihtzu but stupidly never asked her what they did to secure the pups health into such an age so am asking here.
