My apartment doesn't have much cabinet space. I wanted something to hold all of my stuff without being committed to a layout.
Rewatching Scrubs, and how did I forget S2 E1 My Overkill with Colin Hay (singer, Men at Work) as a patient playing guitar and singing the mesmerizing song Overkill in pieces throughout the episode.
Where has this song been in my life? After seeing the moving episode, I became obsessed with the song, got the tab to play on guitar. It wasnt quite right which led to an awesome video of Colin Hay himself explaining how to play it. He's incredibly charming in the how to video.
Then that led to the outtakes (or whatever you call it) from the show where they interview Zach Braff and I think the shows creator explaining how they stumbled across Colin playing to a small crowd in a bar. They chat him up after the set and are dumbfounded these are as big of venues he could get in USA (at the time). It's a wild story worth checking out if you like the episode, and them building a relationship with Hay, who writes and performs several more times for the show.
Colin Hay is the lead singer of 80s Aussie band Men at Work, famous for such songs as Down Under and Who Can It Be Now.
Is the massive road construction at Steveston, No 5 rd, and entrance to tunnel (south), nearly done? I just visited Ironwood and was surprised to see how much worse they seem to have made that road network and path to tunnel entrance, but maybe there's more planned?
Not a resident but i was for about 15 years. I went to ironwood to shop, plan was to take tunnel back out. Having lived there for so long I know it's alway been a trouble spot and was prepared hoping for some improvement with the work over the last year but it seemed significantly worse.
Wasn't it 2 right lanes turned down to the tunnel... And they changed that to one? Maybe I'm missing something but it was a regular sunny day way more illegal or aggressive maneuvers than last year when I was there.
is there some bigger, smarter plan for this?

reddit.comBeen watching quite a few Australian versions of the show. Theres a lot of well known aussie slang like boot, barby, and joeys, but here's a few you may not know
- . Sloppy Joe = hoodie
- . de facto = common law spouse
- . ute = like an El Camino, car front and truck back. short for Sport Utility
- . comfit = artists rendering of criminal
The ute wasn't too bad, but the other 3 i had to keep, rewinding, confused and eventually looked it up or deduced.

Castle cheese shredded cheddar flavor topping - what is the purpose of simulated cheese?
reposting with the post body question in the title this time.
It was at our beloved costco business center. I'm just curious why this product exists and if Costco is supprting thr company and selling, especially at the business center, it then seems like a lot of people are buying it . What am I missing? What are people and or businesses using this simulated cheese for?
edit: im just trying to understand why Costco has put their buying power behind this product, so reworded
edit 2: i thnk user gibblet365 figured it out, you can contunue to aggressively downvote the post tho:
- The certified Halal symbol on the label likely holds the answer.
- Theres probably a high local interest in Halal products to warrant that location bringing it in to inventory.
- If it serves no purpose to you, dont buy it.
