In seemingly all places of the Internet, I see people joke about things like "me at 3 AM realizing it's morning" or "10th school bathroom goon". I feel like it's unhealthy for people online to be normalizing this stuff so much, due to them becoming quite addictive if not kept in check.
Especially doomscrolling. People at least somewhat hate on gooning sometimes, but either EVERYONE is doomscrolling untill 2AM, or they're larping as it. Either way, it's not good.
I just feel it's bad to appropriate these things as "everyday things" when they're unhealthy and addictive.
So recently, I was just minding my own business, when I get a dm. saying that I, or someone with a similar name to me, sent them a phishing link to steal their account. Now, after some back and forth, they send me a screenshot of an email, saying that my account is under investigation, and to verify in a listed discord server.
I'm like 80% sure they're scamming, but I want to be sure.
