I’m making a binder for my husbands birthday of his lord of the rings mtg cards and I was removing them to start painting the binder and noticed this weird texture on all of the cards? They’re unsleeved but all seem to be in great condition. It doesn’t look like mold to me but I still want to know what it is?
I was reminded of an image I saw years ago. It was of a giant canvas going floor to ceiling. There was a metal rig to the side. It was a disabled artist well known for screen/ block printing on a large scale, CMYK style. It was a giant face, possibly with glasses, I think starting in yellow?
So! Imagine, you’re 28 years old, hanging out with your friends and husband, it’s 8pm in June, suddenly you feel a tightness in your chest. No big, you’re an asthmatic, it can happen. It steadily grows worse, you feel nauseous, this isn’t normal asthma chest tightness, this is something else. You haven’t told anyone yet, your husband suggests your friends stay later, you abruptly say “hey maybe not, I’m not feeling good,” friends understand and leave. It’s now 9:30pm, your pain has jumped from uncomfortable to unbearable, cold sweats, nausea, and this feeling like someone is wrapping a rubber band around your ribs tighter and tighter with every breath. This is the worst pain you’ve ever experienced. Near tears on the phone with your mom, your husband panicking and trying to get you to go to the ER, both of them finally convince you. At 3am, the following morning, after CT scans, bloodwork, and an EKG, the pain has finally subsided and a doctor finally comes to you. With a regretful look he says “it’s probably an esophageal spasm, follow up with your primary.”
Fast forward to August, it has happened twice more at home, and is happening a third time with pain worse than before, intense, sharp, squeezing pain. The doc comes in after several hours and a chest X-ray and says the same thing, but makes a comment “I see you’re on Wegovy, we’ve had a couple patients come in with similar symptoms. Maybe hold off on taking it until you can see your primary care.” Cool. Fair. I’m disappointed because I was losing weight, but I had plateaued and wanted to go UP in my dosage. I schedule with my primary. Bloodwork comes back and I get a message in MyChart that says “I’m sending you to get a liver ultrasound.” Some of my bloodwork has come back 5 times the normal range, 5 times what I was at three weeks ago.
Running theory is Gastroparesis.
I’m only putting this out there because this is supposedly a rare symptom, but this has been the scariest medical scare of my life. Get your doctors to take you seriously, advocate for testing if you’re feeling discomfort. I’m lucky I have a primary care doc that listens to my concerns and takes them seriously.

I was so excited to post this super simple attack for a sidewalk series I want to do. I was two seconds from posting the attack when I realized… I forgot EVERYONES markings. I also wanted to add more detail to the background. Now I’m frustrated and just internally screaming.
I found someone who has some cute characters in a band and I thought it would be cute to draw them all together! But it’s like… six characters… All from one person. Is this weird?
Thank you to everyone who helped and especially philyd94 for the visual reference! I did change the head position like someone else suggested, and tried to even out the proportions a bit so the upper body was more realistic (?). As always, any advice is greatly appreciated!!
I did change the direction of the chest, but the center line (?) still flows pretty evenly. Something about the legs just feels very off. This is probably one of the more complex poses I’ve tried, and I would love feedback on how to make the pose feel more natural.
The energy is supposed to be “listening to the radio and dancing alone at work.”

But seriously, if I wanted to do someone’s attack in a way that mimics a piece of art, say drawing someone’s oc like the Mona Lisa, or in a Van Gogh style, or like the posters shown, would that be allowed with the proper crediting? Obviously not tracing, but using the existing piece as a reference like the above images.

Why was there the sudden “flashback” of scratch before Caine unloading the profiles? To me, this implied scratch was back? I was so confused not seeing him for the rest of the episode.
I was genuinely hoping for Jax to be “cured” but I understand the weight of keeping her in that state. I just… I feel like we could’ve explored the previous cast more? I feel slightly dissatisfied with the ending, but I still understand it.

Has anyone noticed an increase in body odor? I feel like since starting I’ve not only been sweating more but the smell has gotten BAD. I don’t know if it’s hormone related or what, but is anyone else experiencing this?

Hello everyone! I (28F) been on Wegovy for two months now, down about 10-15 lbs (yay!) but I’m having one hell of a problem… I am experiencing this absence of hunger, like to the point of eating less than 700 calories a day. I am forcing myself to eat and it’s very difficult. Part of the problem is several of my other medications have “appetite suppressant” qualities, meaning already I have this lack of hunger.
I am trying so hard to eat regularly, but I’m feeling full after a couple of bites and a then few hours later I’m suddenly nauseous with this feeling of bile. When I’m nauseous I can’t eat, the concept of any food, the idea of tasting anything is abhorrent. It’s this never ending cycle that I want to break.
As someone with ADHD, I’m already bad with sticking to new routines. I know the usual “small meals throughout the day” is the best advice, but it’s so far not working because I’m consistently forgetting.
Is there anyone else on ADHD medication or psych meds that have appetite suppressants in this sub? I’m looking for how yall have been managing these symptoms.

I have very large breasts and a smaller underbust. It hard to find swimwear tops that fit comfortably without an underwire. I’m looking for a nice taut elastic that’s heavy duty that will hold up. What am I looking for? I’ve tried “taut elastic” “high tension elastic” “heavy duty elastic” and everything is “high stretch” and waistband elastics.
Any advice or product recommendations are GREATLY appreciated, especially since I have a beach trip with friends at the beginning of June…

Not a pattern but an alteration. I’m turning a one piece into a top. I’m just trying to add the waist band and I’m wondering if I should use elastic thread to keep it nice and stretchy or do I use regular thread and a zigzag stitch?
If regular thread what kind should I use that can stand up for swimming?
