In the past I've successfully paired the earbuds. But they no longer do so. I've tried every suggestion for fixing this and nothing works. The blue light will not go on when I depress the back button. It will not pair with any device.
I fear the ear buds are defective. Can anyone suggest something I may be missing?
I've been a self-hosted user for 20 yrs. Recently, I got msgs from Jetpack that I would no longer have access to site stats unless I paid a fee. Sites WP designated as "commercial" would be obligated to pay the fee in order to continue to access the stats.
The categories they use to define a site as commercial are entirely artificial: solicit donations? You're commercial. Sell books on your site (earning $50/yr), you're commercial. Use an LLC (solely to protect from lawsuits), you're commercial.
There isn't anything remotely commercial about my site. It's a political blog featuring analysis and independent journalism. No products, no marketing, no sales.
I know I can get the same stats with Analytics & other plugins. So that's not the issue. That's what I'll be doing after Jetpack site stats go away.
It's just that this seems to be a means of generating revenue from users. It just seems crass and cheap.
