What makes Japan's Kunisaki well suited to support the Indonesia's wildfires?

I saw in the news that Japan is sending the Kunisaki to assist us with the wildfires in Kalimantan, along with three helicopters and hundreds of personnel. I know my family and I are really grateful for Japan's assistance, and I thought it would be interesting to learn more about the ship being used for this mission. This is also the first time that Japan is supporting an overseas firefighting operation.

I understand why a military transport ship would be useful for moving the equipment, people and resources for the operation, but I am curious about the choice of this specific ship.

Does anyone have any ideas into what makes this specific ship particularly suitable for this kind of disaster response operation?

Planned comically large monumental structures that were never built

  1. Original iteration of the National Monument of Indonesia by Friedrich Silaban

  2. The Palace of the Soviets by Boris Iofan, Vladimir Shchukuo and Vladimir Helfreich

  3. Volkshalle by Albert Speer (this is the part where I tell people I AM NOT A GROYPER and just think it's a neat big building that never got built)

  4. Monument to the Third International by Vladimir Tatlin

Nomad as a tactical settlement infiltrator.

I dont use the nomad for exobio.

I use it for what Frontier clearly intended:

settlement infiltration.

Why drive an SRV all the way to the settlement perimeter when I can simply park this tiny little bastard directly behind someone's building?

The NOMAD is basically a planetary recon drone with the audacity to have landing gear.

Need to get into a settlement?

NOMAD.

Need to land somewhere the size of a parking space?

NOMAD.

in all due seriousness tho, it helps with powerplay infiltration where the landing pad is too small for my cutter.
