I’m looking to buy a reliable thermometer for measuring water temperature while brewing coffee.
I currently use a gooseneck kettle and have a basic ₹100 thermometer. It gets the job done, but it’s quite slow to respond, and I feel there’s a slight delay in the readings.
I’m looking for something that is:
• Accurate
• Fast-reading
• Consistent and reliable
• Suitable for coffee brewing
Would love recommendations from the community. What thermometers are you all using, and which ones would you suggest?
Thankyou In advance

•Solognac Axis 75
•Zippo Brushed Chrome
•Victorinox Belt Key Clip
As requested here’s how I open the solognac axis 75
One important thing to note is that the thumb stud should be pushed slightly towards the top left and outward with the side of your thumb. Don’t push it straight up or all the way to the left as that usually won’t deploy the blade smoothly.
The Decathlon Solognac axis 75 keeps things simple compact, lightweight, and built to do exactly what it needs to, camping or everyday task!
No unnecessary extras, just a clean everyday utility knife that feels right at home in an EDC rotation.
Zippo Topographic Map picked up from 1970store an authorized zippo retailer in India during a sale for ₹2300.
This is my second Zippo and one of my favourite designs so far.

Hey everyone!
I’m looking to buy a good quality ice tray that makes medium to large ice cubes or ice spheres for iced coffee. I’d prefer something that releases the ice easily and doesn’t crack after a few uses.
If you have one that you personally recommend, could you please share the link as well? I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!
I won a ₹700 Bluetooth coupon from the Blinkit Nongshim Noodles Quiz
Price: ₹550
500₹(updated)
How it’ll work:
You send me the product link or tell me what you want.
I’ll place the order directly to your address.
You can pay me the remaining amount through UPI, or I can add your UPI ID during checkout, whichever you’re comfortable with.
Also, if anyone has a Decathlon/Quechua coupon, I’m looking for a Quechua 10L backpack. If I get a coupon for that instead, I won’t be giving this Bluetooth coupon.
DM me if you’re interested or have a Decathlon bag coupon in exchange
People often ask what is the actual use of a Swiss Army Knife in everyday life or if people really use all those tools.
So instead of just saying it is useful I thought I would share real examples from my own daily and weekly use. For me a Swiss Army Knife is something everyone should have. If not in your pocket then at least in your backpack or car. You never know when it will save the day.
- Tweezers
I use them to pick up tiny screws that are difficult to grab with my fingers.
They are also useful for removing splinters or other small objects.
I even use them to remove the cotton or rayon balls from my Zippo whenever I refill or rearrange it.
- Straight Pin
I keep a straight pin in the pin slot.
It is useful for ejecting SIM trays.
It can also press reset buttons on electronics AC
units and infotainment systems.
On one road trip our rental car infotainment system froze. I used the pin to press the reset button and it started working again within seconds.
- Toothpick
I do not use it very often.
It is useful while travelling trekking or eating fruit outdoors.
- Parcel Hook
One of the most underrated tools.
It helps carry heavy shopping bags with thin handles that dig into your fingers.
I have used it once or twice to carry heavy parcels from the market to my car.
- Screwdriver
This is probably my most used tool.
I use it to tighten loose screws around the house and on everyday items.
It is much quicker than searching for a full size screwdriver.
- Scissors
Very sharp for their size.
I use them for opening parcels cutting zip ties cutting loose threads and many other small jobs.
I have even used them inside my car.
- Reamer
One of the most useful tools.
It is great for making holes in cardboard plastic leather and similar materials.
In one of the photos I used it to make a new hole in the back of a bell case because the original hole did not work.
- Corkscrew
It can open wine bottles.
It is also very useful for loosening tight knots. Just twist it into the knot and pull.
- Small Blade
Perfect for opening parcels.
Great for cutting fruit and other everyday tasks.
- Large Blade
Useful for camping trekking and heavier cutting jobs.
I once used it to cleanly cut the stem of a flower because I could not break it by hand.
- Bottle Opener
A simple tool that gets used quite often.
Mostly for beverages.
My friends usually remember I have one whenever they need to open a bottle.
- Can Opener
I have not needed to use this one yet.
It is useful if you carry canned food while camping or trekking.
It can also help if the pull tab on a can breaks.
- Wood Saw
I have not used this one either.
It is useful for cutting small branches while camping or trekking.
It can also be used for small outdoor tasks when needed.
You do not need the biggest Swiss Army Knife to enjoy these benefits. Even the smaller and more basic models are enough for most everyday tasks.
None of these tools gets used every single day.
Together they solve many small problems throughout the year. Most of the time you do not realize how useful a Swiss Army Knife is until you need one and do not have it.
I would love to know which tool on your Swiss Army Knife gets the most use and what you have used it for.
