I’m truly so surprised that it has been 10 years of bad omens and there is no announcement of any special merch releases, vinyls, or literally anything at all. Other than a few anniversary posts on social media, they’re silent about it. This seems so strange to me… am I missing something?

Also yes I know some people were able to snag special vinyls from Sumerian this afternoon, but they’ve mysteriously disappeared now and Sumerian and Bad Omens both have said nothing about that release or even acknowledged it at all.

Also the matchmakers should’ve paired Adam and Courtney, that would’ve been a show 🤣

I do all my grocery shopping at Target (judge me if you must). I really don’t cook MUCH and tend to scrap together girl dinners for all of my meals. I don’t cook chicken and meat for myself often because I get the ick a lot of times with prepping it. I really could use some inspiration for new girl dinners using only ingredients that are readily available at Target. Please share!!

I don't use that accusation lightly, but from someone who suffered in an abusive relationship with a narcissist for 3 years, I see SO many parallels between Shawn and my ex. It's alarming and triggering to watch the way he gaslights, manipulates conversations, shifts blame, deflects during Nikki's attempts to resolve conflicts, and shuts down communication when conversations begin to spiral and are no longer working in his favor. He is already showing his true colors. You can see he is already making Nikki's head spin, and as long as she walks away after a conversation or conflict feeling confused about things, he is content. He is INCAPABLE of ever just admitting fault, taking accountability, truly hearing her out, and making changes. The only time he will ever admit any sort of wrongdoing is after he manipulates her into believing or saying she did something wrong too (even if she truly was never at fault). She's too intelligent for him, but sadly, intelligent people are the strongest fuel for a narcissistic partner.

And I'm not even considering his inflated ego and grandiose sense of self. That's a whole different topic 😞

I was issued my license on 2/4/2026. I received a letter in the mail that my license was expiring on 6/30/26. I expected this letter, as I was given the heads up from my job prior that *ALL* NJ licenses were expiring on 6/30/26. So I logged into the consumer affairs website, submitted the application, and paid the $200 fee. I emailed the board after that asking for confirmation about whether the $200 fee was correct, as someone mentioned to me that their renewal fee was prorated. I simply was hoping for clarification regarding whether this is something I could've been eligible for since my license is only 4 months old.

Afterwards, I received 2 emails back from the board - One email said that my license was issued AFTER the "push period" and therefore doesn't expire until 6/30/28. The other email said my license was issued BEFORE the "push period" and therefore was set to expire on 6/30/26.

When I log in to the portal, it shows my present expiration status as 6/30/28, while the renewal letter I received in the mail said it was expiring 6/30/26.

After I submitted the renewal application and paid the fee I never got confirmation that the renewal was approved, so I'm not sure whether the current expiration date in the online portal mentioning 2028 is reflecting the approved renewal, or the original expiration date.

I called the general NJ consumer affairs licensing board renewal phone number as well as the dedicated behavior analyst board help line number, and neither were able to give me answers regarding these matters. They also could not answer my question about the push period and what the date was for it, or if it even makes a difference..? I was told to send a follow-up email and wait for a response.

Does anyone know what this is about? I'm going to be upset if I shelled out $200 to renew a license that wasn't expiring yet. I'm also frustrated that this is so difficult and that even the Board is providing conflicting information to us.

I would think the one with more features would be less expensive but the pet-roomba is nearly $100 more.

When I began the process of getting my master's with the goal of becoming a BCBA, I had no idea that this is what being a BCBA would entail. Seriously. If i knew it was going to be this costly and complex I would've chosen a different career path. I would understand if you have to pay a renewal fee every full year or every other full year - but to make EVERYONE renew on the same date, with total disregard for how long someone's license has even been effective, seems like a terrible terrible process. Quite frankly it makes no sense at all to me.

I hope this becomes easier as time goes on but I doubt it. How do you all feel about the licensure process in your states?

I plan to use air-dry clay to make some cute little dishes for my keys, jewelry, etc. However, I want them to have a glossy smooth finish. I looked into resin but do you need a UV light for all resin? If so, what is a cheap option that works well and is efficient? Are there any other alternatives for finishes that don't require a UV light? I first though mod podge, but I feel like it won't dry as glossy as I'd like.
