Just took my new Portola for the first ride and my brake is squeaking

The front brake specifically - is that because it's new, or is there something I can do? It's super loud, seems like it should be quiet. Thanks in advance for any advice.

What's your farming White Whale?

Mine is Swan Song with Torgue Impact and Jakobs, seen hundreds by now and zero of this one. Also never seen a Convergence with Jakobs - or a stray with Jakobs/SMG. Don't even get me started on Crow Sourced!

iPhone Air - it will decide a photo needs to be in Live mode?

I have Preserve Settings set "on" with Live Photo off - but when I take a selfie sometimes, as soon as it finishes taking the photo a yellow "Live" appears at the top of the screen, as if the phone decided that's how it should be. I don't know what is causing it to do this, please help if you can.
