Can't Restore Messages - Multiple PCs and Browsers giving tried same error

I got a new phone last week and got facebook setup on the new phone. Messenger and message history all transferred without issue. Desktop was working as normal

Today I go on my Laptop for the first time since my new phone, have to login but no biggie I do that. All goes well except messanger is not working. It asks to restore chats, I enter the pin and it says "There was an error while using the PIN code. Please try again" If I try a wrong pin it does say incorrect pin. Try the onetime code, it gets stuck in "validating code"

Try a private browser - same thing. Try my desktop - same thing.

Everything online says I need to delete the backup and redo it because of some "handshake mismatch" but I can't - that option is gone

Any ideas or have I just forever lost the ability to use messenger on any desktop?

Fold 8 display at Best Buy quite useless

Went to best buy to try and test the fold 8. They have it on a fixed mount, too close to the other phones. I can't even attempt to use it. What a horrible choice.

EDIT: My comment is not on the phone being on a fixed mount, but rather being so close to the other phone that I cant even unfold it. Yes I asked a manager if they could unlock it, they said no. No I am not in the USA.

Lost wallet around Randall area

I know this is a long shot but

Dropped my wallet yday when walking around the randall area (galbraith/randall)

Its a small zipper wallet, had around 100 bucks a couple gift cards, debit card and my ID

If you happen to stumble on it and would be willing to return it, minus the cash - I would be eternally grateful

Hope you all have a wonderful day

If you want clear frozen cubes you need an insulated barrier with a drip tray

I'm not from the UK, I'm from Canada

But I been seeing your clear ice cubes pop off everywhere

I seen people try and imitate it, but with the wrong tools

If you want CRYSTAL CLEAR ice cubes, the trick is using an insulated ice tray that forces a freeze from the top down, pushing the air and impurities to the bottom and leaving the clear frozen cubes on top.

If you are just using an ice try, or using distilled water, but dont have an insulated base that is suspended above a catch - you are doing it wrong

Clear ice cube requires directional freezing. Directional freezing is accomplished with an insulated ice tray at home. It takes 24+ hours depending on the size of your tray.

Bradley Miller Spinner Cap

Won this from the contest on here

Was gonna grab a cloud vortex but this works great

Never bought anything beyond a cloud vortex before or a Kyle wym stick so hard to really compare

The airflow is definitely on the open side. Spins the terp pearls. Stem does go pretty deep into the insert, but isn't covered in reclaim so seems to be a good fit.

Would recommend

Old Loblaws Commercial when Dave was at the helm

Dave Nichol arguably saved Loblaws when he agreed to help Galen Weston Sr. - he would probably be rolling in his grave to see what it has become without him.

What do you think? Would Dave be ashamed of the price fixing, money gouging, souless Loblaws banner of today? Or would he be proud at the market dominance and rising profits, demanded by consumerism?

I might be romantizing, but I think a man like Dave would have wanted to do what is right by his fellow Canadians.

As a financial institution that is web based, they need to add this feature

My favourite feature of scotiabank, is the ability to easily search and find any transaction.

Its crazy to me wealthsimple doesnt have this feature. In fact when using desktop it even tells me to use the mobile app to view more transactions.

A desktop is much more comfortable to use, why isnt everything available on desktop?
A search function is much more useful than a filter function - why not add a search function to enhance the client experience?

Am I alone in wanting this feature?

This will probably be my first non clothing return...

Images appear to show minced beef and veggies, which is what I was expecting. What I was not expecting, was a single hamburger patty that does not resembles the photos in any way.

I never returned anything except clothes but I feel so deceived by this product I feel like it might need to be my first non-clothing return.

Its not bad, I would still eat it - but its definitely not what I expected, does not match the pictures, and isn't worth the price.

Justified in returning this? Or do I just learn the lesson and not purchase this again?

One minute to resolve my complaint without even contacting me for details? At least pretend like you even looked into it.

Customer service rep was extremely unprofessional and uneducated. Cancelled the wrong card, and then forgot to reissue a new card and now I have no credit cards and had to call in again to get the card issued and delayed the process even further.

"Our investigation included a review of the information you provided at the time of the complaint, as well as available supporting documentation. Based on our detailed review, we have concluded that Scotiabank’s actions were in line with its commitments and obligations. As such, your case is now closed."

I guess Scotiabank is commited to wasting your time and being useless?
