Odd Question

If we’re being a bit strategic here (as a massive Strokes fan) I’ve heard several times on Reddit that return JLH festival goers who’ve been there in recent years state that it’s actually a bit easier to see the band THERE than an actual Strokes show especially when it comes to getting close to the rail. If you’ve missed some of those threads and you’re reading this and also have experience at this festival, is it a little accurate/any truth to it? Strokes shows this year have been pretty massive and pricey on top of it, this festival sounds like it may be worth traveling to even if the primary goal of ours were to only see 1-2 bands! It seems a bit more laid back and accessible which would be extremely welcome! Any thoughts are appreciated!

Torn you guys!

Hit JLH (I’d be traveling 12 hours driving distance to and from total) to see The Strokes OR hold out for a hopeful/potential proper Southern California date hopefully added following the show? 😭

Dilemma! Help Us Out :)

To drive in from Phoenix for The Strokes or to not, that is our question & dilemma. We love the idea of awaiting a proper LA headlining date but let’s be real about our boys, after this run of shows you just NEVER know…

$250 is steep for a festival date for one band (we do enjoy LCD though also) however, realistically, like I mentioned above, waiting for a Strokes proper LA date might not ever come again haha

Help us weigh this one out!

JRAD Question!

Anyone who has been to a JRAD show lately, are they still offering signed posters at the merch booth? I live in Phoenix so I sadly don’t get the opportunity to see them much but I’m flying out to Boston for them next month and was hopeful they still offered those like they did several, several years back when I last saw them! Really looking forward to seeing how much better they’ve become as a band!

Question!

Driving in from Phoenix early Saturday morning looking to arrive by 11, if we’re GA and want to make it a priority to catch a good spot up front for The Strokes (my wife is 5’0 lol) for those who have been to this festival, what’s the likelihood of that happening if we didn’t get there until noon-ish with I’m assuming will already be a giant line outside haha

We’re stoked and hope to see everyone!

ISO Saturday Ticket

Out here with a group of friends, one screwed up and only bought Friday, last night and needs a day pass for today! If someone in your group missed out or someone has an extra please let us know, we’re here at the convention center and can buy it off you right outside the venue or hotel next door!

West Coast October Riverside & Malibu

Road tripping from Phoenix to the Farm House in Riverside and Aviator Nation Dreamland in Malibu (a pair of extremely cool looking venues) this fall to see them! My wife & I are totally stoked on this run of shows!

If you’ve seen them recently, have they been producing prints/posters for their shows this year? I’m incredibly hopeful they whip one up for this California run! We’ve got a shop in Mesa that we are just dying to put up a commemorative art piece up inside of theirs. We’ve seen their work in the past with the art prints & they’re stunning. Hopeful for the best this October! 🎃✨

UGH predicament…

So my workplace just gave me off Monday and Tuesday for really no reason whatsoever…

Immediately I think about a last minute flight from here in Phoenix to MSG for the Monday night show but trying to talk myself into/out of it…

Anyone on Reddit just fuckin’ sending it the last 24/48 hours to make a night or two happen?

Fall(ing apart) Rumors ‘26

So with a completely unpredictable fall & rumors falling apart one by one, it LOOKS like the one constant continued thing regardless of rumors of Hershey, Albany, NE region, or PHX, CA region, is the NOLA Smoothie Center October 1st, 2nd and 3rd…

Dates check out, the dude on Phish Net talking about hotels being bought out close to the venue checks out… anyone making plans for NOLA yet?

Fall Rumors?

If they’re true and it’s the Hershey, NOLA and whichever other city is was thing… it does keep them on track to do the whole Spring West Coast thing every other year, which would be ‘27, and then Spring Sphere ‘28… makes sense & would keep west coast folks happy I imagine? I don’t know, but it looks like that lines up pretty well!

Dick’s

For people who have been, I’m back and forth between getting a place in Commerce City (2-3 miles from Dick’s) or a place in downtown Denver (10-11 miles from Dick’s, but downtown and close to Cervantes)…

What would you guys recommend? Thoughts, tips, advice, all is welcome. Thanks in advance! Roughly around the same cost too, for whatever it’s worth! Sub 450ish!

Russian Circles/Pelican Chicago

Flying in from Phoenix, AZ to be at this show! Ticket sales at 10AM Chicago time, right? Gotta make sure I have my damn time zones down this AM!

Anyway, for a traveler that’s never been, how’s the set-up at the cemetery? Worth the trip, I hope/imagine?!

Any local tips, tricks, hotels, recommendations would be much appreciated!
