Currently I have a TNF Summit Series Gore-Tex coat from the early 2000s, but it's starting to fall apart, so i'm in the market for a replacement. I'm looking at a few Gore-Tex coats from different brands, but i found them all feeling like plastic, loud and fitting really poorly (compared to my current coat, which has an outside layer that feels like sturdy fabric), but I can't find anything new with that same material.
Does any of you know what brand still makes this kind of coat?

I started this GoFundMe because I've been going through some hard times. For the past 2 years, I've struggled to get by financially after losing my job a year ago it only got worse. I had to sell most of my belongings including some old gaming consoles from my childhood, just to get a little money.
Even though I've set up payment plans, I'm still dealing with a lot of debt.
A while back, my cat knocked a cup of water onto my laptop, and it broke. I really need a laptop for school, but I can't afford to repair or replace it right now. I've been using my old HP Pavilion (it's about 8 or 9 years old), but it struggles with

I'm looking to get a new rain coat for hiking in the mountains (budget is a bit tight now). Currently I have a North face Summit Series coat from 2005 but it's starting to fall apart so I have to start looking for a new one.
He has already quite some difficulty flying and I feel like he can't see anything so when he finally gains some height het keeps bumping into stuff. So is it possible to let his hair be cut a little bit to help him see better?
