NO MAJOR SPOILERS PLEASE!!! THIS IS MY FIRST Time PLAYING THE SERIES!!!

Nothing really against the kid's personality, Design or story wise so far (I'm an hour and a half into the game) but THIS KID KEEPS KICKING MY ASS!!!

I lost the swordfight 4 times, then the race 5 times, I won once but forgot to take a photo, THEN I LOST AGAIN!!!

idk if I'm bad or if he's purposefully hard, and I don't know if the amount of losses/wins or attempts to face him are important to the story later on, I already lost the chance to name the ship cause of him, idk if any more losses will affect the rest of the story

Also I'm pretty sure he becomes a villain from what I've glimpsed at from pics/clips from the past and I'm worried

Maybe it's because I take his troll posts too seriously, but it just surprised me to see Chaz (mostly) defend the guy and not talk shit about him

I know he brought up the Nuxtaku stuff but he also talked way less about it than I thought he would and seemed way less harsh about it than I thought he would compared to SomeOrdinaryGamer (then again Nux and Kwite haven't collaborated in awhile, and probably won't again knowing how both of them are now)

In one of her videos she mentions her videos are "chazington styled" or something, I remember seeing and liking her Pappo video, but I haven't seen her [Slime man] video

From what I've seen Pastra is still following both of Phil's accounts and is still following Chazington, so no fallout has happened so far

Honestly I don't even know what to think of this controversy anymore, definitely became more serious than I thought

Edit: sorry for turning this sub into a Phisnom drama sub, this has been the most invested I've been into a drama since Kwite, and there's a lot of connections between Phisnom and Chazington (friends, videos, posts, etc) so I thought this would be the best place to post and talk about it to people

I know he's talking about people in general, but I have a small feeling he saw Chazingtons post, especially cause it was on the front page of Twitter (today's news) basically

I don't want to be a "nothing ever changes/fell for it again" person, but I Honestly I don't think anything will change, Phisnom will still be moderately successful while people still talk about him negatively, Chaz will still make occasional post making fun of Phil without ever making a video, and both chazington and Phisnom will still somehow share the same friend group and followers (Daggz, Pastra, Uhyeah, David Baron, Bulbasquirtle, etc) further making his real opinion on Phisnom ambiguous

Edit: overall I do really find this drama confusing and kinda stupid, yes I am mostly a fan of Phisnom, yes I do really find Phisnom cringe too, but I don't think "uwu I simp for Vtubers and want to become one" is not nearly as bad as his past drama, and I really don't think he's an actual Pedo, so unless more info is revealed, I think this drama was just a nothingburger that Chazington made a troll post about trying to rile people up, I mean they made a video together and have the same friend groups, so unless something happens there I dont really think Chaz has malice towards phil

All unconscious cause I'm trying to get few kills (I heard certain kill/amount of kills affect the ending)

Im still new but really like this game so far, I expected good things, but didn't expect Stealth BioShock (one of my favorite series ever)

Idk if anything will change anytime soon, probably not

I heard somewhere that him and Chaz are friends (I think I heard Pastra is Chazington's friend too which is crazy) and I'm pretty sure they follow each other

But when I saw how chill and friendly Chaz brought up uhyeah, I was surprised, for one: he's pretty close to Phisnom, and we all know how Chazington (and his fans) feel about Phisnom, and second: I really thought Chazington would be someone who would make fun of uhyeah and his past controversies, both because people are (surprisingly imo) Still pissed off about them, and because from what I've seen, chazington never really lets go of people's past controveries

I know they're all pretty old but I really wanna hear Chazington talk about being in a video with Phisnom, along with him talking about how outdated his "I have nothing against the guy" quote was

Also I really wanna see if Chaz knows if his friend Bulbasquirtle still follows Phisnoms stuff

(This is my second time seeing it, I didn't record the first so i immediately restarted to record, the first time this happened the bodies ended up in a puddle in the shape of a heart almost, which left me even more in awe)

Edit: apparently this is a Gameplay mechanic too!?!

As someone who never really saw Doomguy as a "faceless character" or as "someone who needs to wear the helmet 24/7" (ever since the first game his face was shown, 2016 was the exception since his true identity was still ambiguous) I love how casually they show Taggart's face in this game, they don't treat every showcase and third person cutscenes like it's the most important reveal ever it's just "yeah this is still Doomguy, the helmet is iconic but it isn't what makes him"

The only thing is, this is the most I ever really want to see Doomguy without his helmet (or armor in general) in these games, I feel "fed well enough" when it comes to maskless/armorless Doomguy from this DLC, I Definitely don't want them to NOT show his face, but for now I think the opening scene and the suitup scene is how I want ID to treat Doomguy's face, brief and somewhat casual but still really cool to see, maybe limit it about 1-2 scenes per game

I feel like if he does make a video it'll probably be about the same as the Ending of the Hotdiggitydemon vid tbh
