Benefits without accountability, emotional comfort without commitment?
reddit.comCompletely new to yoga and overwhelmed what are the best beginner tutorials out there?
I’ve been wanting to start a regular yoga practice, but every beginner video I click on has people doing effortless backbends by minute five. I'm not super flexible, so I really need instructors who break down foundational poses without assuming I’m already a contortionist. Yoga with Adriene seems to be the default answer, but I’d love to know if there are other hidden gem channels or series you swear by. Ideally, I’m looking for short 15–20 minute routines that focus on form and building simple daily mobility. Free YouTube content is preferred, but I’m open to paid app suggestions if the structured pacing is worth it. What creators or specific tutorial series helped everything finally click for you when starting out?
What is the most intense, true red lipstick you’ve ever used?
I’ve been on the hunt for a red lipstick that is pure, vibrant red without leaning too pink, orange, or berry. So many shades look perfect in the bullet but pull completely different on the lips. I want something bold, long lasting, and rich in pigment. What’s the absolute reddest, most dramatic lipstick in your collection? Any formula recommendations for mature lips that won't bleed or settle into lines?
How do you actually travel with your whole makeup routine?
I’m packing for an upcoming trip and trying to fit my full makeup routine into a single bag, but it’s becoming an absolute nightmare. My powders are at constant risk of shattering, liquid foundations threaten to explode over everything, and my brushes take up way too much room. I really don't want to leave my daily essentials behind, but my current setup is completely unmanageable. How do you all pack a full face of makeup without taking up half your suitcase or damaging your products? Any pouch setups, travel-sized hacks, or depotting tricks would save my life right now.
What's the best way to keep my plant alive for the three days I'll be gone?
Any tips for working with lace?
Does anyone else struggle immensely whenever they try to sew or craft with lace? It’s constantly snagging, shifting around, or tearing, and my patience is wearing paper thin. I really want to finish this project without ruining the fabric, but it feels like the material is actively fighting me. What are your best tricks, tools, or techniques for keeping lace manageable? Any advice would be nice
My ex best friend (F20) replaced me (F18) a year ago and now she wants to act as if nothing happened
tl;dr: my best friend (F18) of five years suddenly left me last year after she found a new group of friends. Out of nowhere she reached out saying she misses what we had and wants to make up. While part of me misses our time together, I'm scared of getting replaced all over again.
I honestly don't know if she genuinely regrets how she treated me or if her new friendships just fizzled out. Would you give someone like this a second chance, or is it better to leave the past in the past? Any advice on how to handle this? She's constantly texting me now and I don't know how what to say
what are your absolute best vegan snack recommendations?
I desperately need something satisfying to grab. I’m looking for solid vegan snack ideas that the standard handful of plain nuts or basic baby carrots. Whether it's a quick store bought favorite or an easy five minute fix at home, what’s your go to? I love anything savory or spicy, but I’m totally open to sweet treats too. Bonus points if it’s genuinely filling and doesn't take forever to prepare. What should I get or make right now?
