I used Claude cli to vibe code a compass app to find the nearest toilet, called Compiss.

I used Claude cli on my Mac to generate all the code, assets and e2e tests while making a compass app to find the nearest toilet. There are others out there but none of them are called Compiss :) Jokes aside, I found the public toilet search on the built in apps a little lacking so I built this to capture some of the features I found useful. I like to think of it as a mix between Waze and a toilet finder app.

Compiss allows you to rate the cleanliness of toilets, add comments or photos (subject to moderation), filter based on free, accessibility options along with a few other things.

It's completely free, no ads, no in app purchases. Finding the nearest toilet shouldn't cost anyone anything.

It's now on Apple and Android stores. Apple also has an Apple Watch version which Claude also wrote.

Winchester Mtn / Twin Lakes

As our summer season heats up this week, I'm wondering if anyone has any insights as to the conditions of Twin Lakes Rd right now? I'd love to get up there and take in some views with the family. I have a 4 Runner to traverse the road, but it seems some years it's worse than others.

Las Vegas Pit Lane Walk Question

I want to take my daughter to the race in Vegas, but the hospitality tickets that include the pit lane walks are way out of my price range. Does anyone know if they sell individual access to those areas, or is it all in on the hospitality?

PSA: Please for the love of god pay attention.

Yesterday afternoon about 4:45pm I witnessed what could have been a bad crash between a jeep and a bicyclist. The cyclist came flying out of the trail and had to make quite the evasive maneuver to avoid crashing into the side of the jeep. Then I myself almost was in an accident with a runner doing the same thing. Both individuals came flying out of the trail onto this road without a thought in the world that cars are moving through here and a complete disregard for the stop signs ON THE TRAIL. I know we all get in our own world when we are cruising on the trails, biking, running, walking but please pay attention. I live on the street and know to slow down because people don't pay attention; if I had been going any faster the runner would be in the hospital. Other's don't slow down, especially if they are making a left off Old Fairhaven Pkwy.

Strava mislabeling my “fastest mile” of 2026

Has anyone else had it happen where Strava labels something as your fastest run time but then you run a faster time that it doesn’t acknowledge?
