I simply want to be open a Smart Folder and see all of my images. I created a Smart Folder with the following:

Kind - Image - JPEG

Kind - Image - PNG

After saving it, nothing shows in it. I think it might be because my new Air is saving everything to my iCloud Desktop, so nothing is actually on the Mac and the search criteria at the top shows "This Mac"

1. How do I change it from "This Mac" to "iCloud?

I have a Pentair pool pump that might be 6 years old that has not been connected and has been sitting outside for at least 4 yrs collecting dirt, some rust being rained on and who knows what. can this still be used at some point for a pool or a fountain or something or should I just throw it away? Thanks

I have two orders that shipped international months ago from the US, and they still show as having a status of “Shipped” and not Delivered.

- one was shipped March 19. 2026 and the buyer already left me positive feedback a couple of weeks after it shipped. This order was part of the ebay International Sales program

- one order was shipped January 25, 2026 to someone overseas in the military, and I have no way to track the order to see if it was ever delivered

1. How can I figure out if I was paid as part of either of these two sales?

2. If I have not been paid yet, what can I do?

I have two very large items that I am selling as a bundle. Both boxes are about 25"x25"x12" and one box is 42lbs and one is 34lbs.

1. I want to use the option to charge actual shipping, though it seems this option is only available when shipping a single box? Is there a way to charge actual shipping for the two boxes?

2. I used Pirateship to come up with the price for shipping both boxes by entering the info and using a zip code from NY as the destination to cover the farthest that the boxes can travel (I am in California). However, Pirateship did not offer a FedEx option. I was under the impression that large boxes like these are less expensive with FedEx vs. UPS?

3. It occurred to me, what happens if someone from Hawaii buys these items? Hawaii covers the different islands, and I decided to enter a zip code for Kaui, and the price was over twice the amount. If I can't enter actual shipping costs since there are two boxes, what is the best way to charge a flat fee that covers if someone buys this from NY or Hawaii?

I have many Nest cameras and I just received an email asking me to "Transfer all Nest cameras and new video history".

I use to be happy with my Nestcams with the Nest app, though these days I often can not find the history for video and have other issues.

Can anyone provide me with any info regarding the pros/cons of transferring all the Nest cameras and new video history? Is this a good idea to do or not?

Does anyone ever make a strong effort to do tasks for other people when they are asked to, to make it seem like they do not always refuse demands and to change that perception?

I am still learning about PDA and trying to navigate life with my 12 year old. I have been thinking of ways to reduce the perception of demands and in difficult situations like flying, which I just had to do, I am wondering if I ask my kid to do something that I do not want him to do with the hopes that he avoids the perceived demand and does something else more aligned with what I want? This is not something that I would do often because I do think he would catch on. Has anyone tried doing this?

My friend wants me to help him sell some of his collectible items for him because he does not have an account and is not good with selling stuff. I want to do this without having to worry about incurring any tax liability for the items that I will sell for him and I will not be keeping anything from the sale of his items.

What is the best way to approach this?

I’m going to take a trip to Hawaii and will do lot of snorkeling, and I am guessing some hikes while holding the invisible selfie stick and X4. I just noticed that the bottom of the selfie stick, the legs for the tripod are broken.

1. I do not think I need the tripod legs working, though before I go on the trip, are there any reasons that I might be overlooking for why I should replace the selfie stick?

I sold two items as part of the international program. One box is about 4lbs and 16inches long while the other one is larger and about 9lbs and 24 inches long.

1. Is it a bad idea to ship both boxes separate as part of the sale?

2. I am looking for a large enough box to put both of them into though it increases the shipping a lot.

I have an Apple Watch Series 10 with cellular, and a few days ago my 16 Pro Max got submerged in water and has not worked since. Even though I have cellular on my watch, and I have used it for voice to messages, I have noticed that I was not able to send a message via SMS to someone on Android, and it has not downloaded my email since my phone stopped working.

1. Why is it not sending the message to the Android user? Does this have anything to do with it needing my iPhone to make it work?

2. Why is it not downloading my email?

I have Apple Care One.

A few months ago I dropped my 16 Pro Max phone and the front screen cracked. I brought it to the Apple Store and they fixed it under the warranty.

Yesterday, my phone was brought into a pool to shoot some photos. I had done this tons of times in the past. In the past I had completely submerged the phone. Yesterday, only the lower quarter of the photo while held vertically was in the water for less than 10 minutes. When getting out, I noticed that the phone would not turn on. I dried it off, put it in rice and it still will not turn on. I know I can pay $99 to replace the phone with Apple Care One, though it just seems odd that something that I had done tons of times previously has caused damage to my phone. This has me wondering if there was some incorrect install of the screen causing a gap when the new screen was installed that caused water to get into it?

1. Does what I describe sound like something that would realistically damage the phone?

2. Is there some way to determine if the screen was not properly installed?

Just looking for some insight into my 12 year old. I notice that many of what characterizes him as being PDA seems to go away when he is around friends, and family visiting from out of town Some of the PDA stuff seems to be there, though it is very subtle.

Is this a result of masking?

Is it common for people with PDA to mask under certain conditions/around certain people?

I listed and sold a lithium battery for a scooter, and it didn't even occur to me that there could be restrictions with how it ships. I just shipped something else via USPS and before they would take it they asked if there was a battery in the package, and this had me thinking about the battery I just sold.

1. Was I supposed to do something specifically with this listing since it is a battery?

2. I listed that I am shipping it via UPS. Do I need to do anything in particular when shipping the item via UPS?

I sold a collectible item that had lots of manufacturing imperfections. I posted the maximum number of photos showing these imperfections and I described them. A buyer asked some additional questions, and asked if I could check if the power on the collectible worked. I checked it and it did, and I sent him a photo. He bought it and I shipped it this morning for around $45.

I now get a message asking if this is the larger version. I do not know what the larger version even is, though I posted lots of photos and answered all of his questions before he bought it. I am not sure if there even is a larger version or if he using this as a way to ask for a refund after it shipped

I have not replied yet, though I now suspect that he is going to file a return request or a INAD request or a damaged item request. I have a no returns policy also.

1. does anyone have any suggestions on how to reply to him?
2. any suggestions on what I should do if he demands to return it before even receiving it? do I contact eBay or wait until he files a claim? I really do not want it back it will cost another $45 to ship it back and I feel like I posted enough photos to make it clear what he was buying and answered his questions before he bought it

EDIT: I also asked him via messages before he bought it if he reviewed all of the photos to understand the imperfections/damages to the item. They confirmed they reviewed the photos and understood the imperfections. If they reviewed the photos, understood the imperfections, how can they not be clear on the size...

I’m going to sell a 12 lb collectible that can’t be replaced (out of production) via the international program. What happens if the buyer claims there are defects with the item(not shipping damage but actual imperfections or defects from the manufacturing process? example: paint issues, scratches, small chips, etc) I have never opened it and I can’t open it or it will devalue the item. I am just wondering how eBay would handle this situation?
