why is my speedpaint art looking so desaturated in firealpaca (original vs speedpaint pic)

my usual process is to turn the APNG to gif (i tried converting it to mp4 via Ezgif but ezgif cut off half of the speedpaint every time), then i upload to openshot to add music, then back into ezgif to crop the video because openshot leaves in some annoying black bars in vertical mode, then finally upload to tiktok/instagram.

is there a way to make it stop looking like this, like a good APNG to mp4 converter? i like looking at my colour choices during a speedpaint since i use vibrant colours but the gif conversion is killing the colours in my art.

2020 - 2025 - 2026. my love for art got revived in 2025 when i decided i wanted to draw cats over and over to destress in-between classes and it snowballed from there.

having an issue where every single day the site flags me as a bot and wants me to pass a browser verification challenge

i know this isn't as severe as being suspended but it's still very annoying and concerning. i've been using the site for almost 2 months (web pc version) with no major reach anywhere despite posting every day. the moment i made a reply under a growing tweet 1 week ago i've been getting hundreds of likes on that tweet. great, right? but every time i opened the site i got flagged as a bot because of likes im getting naturally. now im starting to think it's affecting my growth because my own posts maybe get 1-2 likes at best.

it stopped a couple days ago and i figured it was over, but then i had the GALL to make another reply under a growing tweet. people are mass liking and reposting my tweet, and im back to twitter thinking im a bot again. im very close to abandoning posting on the site (probably for the best, i only joined to grow an art audience and it's not working) because it means that the moment i try to reply to people on art posts in the hopes one person follows me, i'll get labelled as a bot again.

now i wonder. is this constant bot flagging/suspicious activity making my account fail to grow with only 10 followers after so many weeks, or is my content just mid? was posting WIPs of my art every day my downfall?

HAMPTER NUMBER 2 DRAWN

the indecisiveness to keep the plate with the hampter was insane lol. i initially thought i didn't draw it well but it actually looks very nice. added the version without the plate as well.

First hampter drawn!

please ignore the hand i drew. idk what you're talking about, what hand? that's so strange, are you sure the hampter isn't floating by itself? huh. idk what hand you're talking about. must've been the wind.

ironically the hand was the hardest part of this artwork, the hampter was fun to draw

send me your hampters NOW!

hi. i love cats, dogs, hampters, rats, so on and so forth. i've been obsessed with drawing cats lately but i am neglecting the humble hampter. i try to draw everyday for art practice and it's time i drew something other than a cat. please send me your cutest hampter pics and i'll draw 2-3 of them and send them in a few days. thank you :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

edit: oh god so much hampters! i'll start looking through once 1 day has passed and pick three that i really like.

edit 2: SO MUCH HAMPTER! i've changed my mind. im drawing 5 from this comment section.

[Discussion] on the fence about registering as an art business legally

hi, im a digital artist that basically just started out with advertising art. im in college in a degree that's intense so i'd basically only be making money (if at at) once every month during school and maybe as the months go on and i get more customers, a bit more during summers. I signed up for a paypal business account as a sole proprietorship since it was more professional, and now im wondering if i should move forward with signing up for sole proprietorship business documents so that i can provide it to paypal when the need arises.

i did ask paypal about it along with some other details like if i should add a business registration date, income etc on the profile without documents and they said i dont need documents yet and to just provide accurate document details when prompted (i dont want to put false details on paypal so good thing i asked)....... but better safe than sorry hence why im making this post.

considering that this is really new for me, should i just hold off on signing up for a business in my country until i can see actual payment and an income? the requirements for signing up as a business in my country are mostly straightforward but the idea of having to deal with taxes and invoicing while studying is a bit daunting (especially since i just started out). it's basically a "should i sign up as a business and take the risk" sort of thought process. thanks for any help!
