BEFORE ANYONE SAYS IT, yes I am aware that Nickelodeon acquired this show to air on Teennick, I don’t need you guys to jump down my throat like you do when people call MBAV a Discom 😭
Im just saying that with the time this show aired (2006) and its vibes it feels much more like a Disney Channel show. I could 110% see this airing righr after Naturally Sadie, an aquired show that was airing on Disney at the time.
This is also around the time where Disney was really trying to appeal to a slightly older demographic (High school aged teens), so this could’ve been a great pick that WOULDNT require any censorship like Braceface did.
I KNOW, her birthday in the show was April 19th which puts her at Aries, but I’m sorry I see Pisces in her so much more
Shes empathic to a fault, very idealistic, can be somewhat naive, sensitive, compassionate to almost everyone (the way she acts with her pet fish 😭😭) and yearns for vulnerability and stability at the same time.
The only “Aries” thing I can see is how bearish she was being with Charlotte, but a Pisces can easily be like that especially when love is on the line, which in that case it was. And Charlotte ended up being annoying anyways so 🤷🏽♀️
Basically what I think the Teennick schedule could’ve looked like if the higher ups actually cared 🤷🏽♀️
Context: Recently a new animated pilot called “Planetronika“ premiered. It has been getting a lot of hate though, with people calling it “Y2K slop“ (the show take heavy influence from early 2000s action cartoons like Kim Possible, Juniper Lee, and My Life as a Teenage Robot) and people accusing the main character of being “pornbait/goonbait”.

-I thought Flora was biracial black + white at 1st, but then it became obvious to me that she was Hispanic. What I didn’t know was that she was specifically Puerto Rican
-Inversely, I thought Luz was 100% Hispanic, but it turns out she was Afro-Hispanic, specifically Dominican.
