How to track medication use without smartphones?

I also bought a daily medication tracker for my bottles, but I have to take it twice a day, so it won't work.

I developed Visual Snow immediately after undergoing jaw surgery

I did jaw surgery to fix painless jaw lock. Immediately after jaw surgery, I noticed trailing shooting stars, black/blue/red dots, and visual static. I've suffered from migraines with auras before, but the frequency also increased after jaw surgery. The jaw surgery did more harm than good, as I'm also experiencing jaw dystonia symptoms, the closing kind, and wish I could go back and stop myself from ever doing it.

Anyone else with similar stories?

How do you stop making new obsessions about people I dislike?

I have a trigger to developing new obsessions. Particularly if a person pisses me off or rubs me the wrong way. It's really out of my control if a person pisses me off because I didn't ask for it. I don't search for reasons to hate someone, nor do I want to dislike people I encounter every day. But once that happens, I tend to obsess about the person. I want revenge of some sort. This is fueled by hate too. If they've done me wrong, I obsess how to get back at them.

Oh, they kicked me out of the house for no reason? Figure out a way to destroy something they have without getting caught. Oh they got me fired for a petty reason, figure out a way to break their windshield without getting caught.

Obviously, I end up not doing anything to get back at them, I then start to hate, avoid, and have intrusive thoughts about them. Things associated to them; I start to hate and avoid which would then trigger images about them.

I watched Better Call Saul and The Aviator a year ago. As a result, I've developed an obsession with electricity/light and contamination since then. How do I stop picking up new obsessions without avoiding them?

I've been diagnosed with primarily obsessional OCD and illness anxiety disorder a while ago. Can't afford a therapist or OCD program at the moment. I need to get over these mental issues so I can land a job to afford therapy in the future. So far for treatment, I was able to get some TMS therapy with depression and OCD protocols covered by a state program in the past, but had to drop out mid-way due to side effects. I'm taking Amitriptyline for nerve pain and can't add on another antidepressant, or else I risk serotonin syndrome.

I even picked up swallowing OCD, a type of somatic obsession, by reading another OCD sufferer's comment about their swallowing obsession scrolling through an OCD social media page. This is how easily I pick up new obsessions without my brain challenging or defending itself.

In response to myself easily picking up new obsessions by watching, reading, or hearing details of another OCD sufferer's obsessions, I had to unfollow and stay away from anything OCD related. My shield thinking is, do not give my OCD any ideas, or else it will automatically adopt a new obsession without hesitation. I believe this is also called "theme hopping".

Can someone help me?

I used AI to figure out my jaw pain, and it came back as oromandibular dystonia, the closing type. Can you help me test the validity of this possible diagnosis?

Supporting Point 1- The onset of involuntary clamping symptoms began immediately following arthroplasty jaw surgery to fix painless jaw lock. "The physical trauma of major jaw surgery is a textbook trigger for initiating focal oromandibular dystonia"

Supporting Point 2- Underlying oromandibular dystonia had already compromised three major jaw muscles: temporalis, lateral, and medial pterygoids. I was not able to stretch my jaw when I yawned or shifted side to side without resistance or pain, even to this day. I then had individual Botox. First masseter, nothing. The time I had Botox in my temporalis caused a catastrophic and violent reaction to my jaw 2 weeks later. Because the pterygoids control forward and lateral movement, they had to compensate and there was a power struggle now that temporalis was forced to relax. Speaking and yawning were affected and this instantly triggered violent, out-of-control shifting and spasms that shoved my jaw forward and to the side. I would open my mouth during this time, and it would severely yank to the side, and it ultimately failed my right TMJ surgery hardware.

Supporting Point 3- Medications like Pregabalin and Amitriptyline reduced the previous spasms when speaking. The meds also reduced tingling that later developed due to the bad hardware when I talked or ate. Meds also gave me more range of motion when yawning or shifting jaw side to side.

Supporting Point 4- I have a sensory trigger. I still get jaw forward spasms to this day, triggered by accidentally biting my lip or tongue.

What’re your thoughts on a worldwide movement of men getting vasectomies after a deposit at a sperm bank, reserving them the right when and who they want to have a child with?

this is in response to female dislike of contraceptives, unplanned pregnancy, baby anchoring, and child support

Anyone have there way around APD without having to spend thousands on devices or hearing aids?

I saw there is a cheap translating device that people use to communicate and I thought wouldn’t that be such a cheap way around APD without spending thousands? I would learn how to read lips but that takes so much effort.

I think better when I’m on the bus or sweeping the floor but overthinking when I have to write down answers or verbally explaining myself, how to get better when needing to answer things?

Have you noticed when you’re on the bus or sweeping the floor and a problem or question pops in your head, you answer it better to yourself (in your own inner-voice) rather if you answer it on a piece of paper or have to verbally explain yourself? I don’t overthink at all in these way. Answer and explanations flow easy. how can I get this flow of answers without having to sweep the floor or get on the bus?
