Whats up with berserker country?

There is nothing up there.

The only berserker village is not located in the berserker country?

Is it just a place to go where you can fight and be angry?

I've basically become Reavers..

I've made a lot of enemies. A lot of attackers show up at my base. And.. I saw an opportunity here.

I established the Valkyria program. When attackers show up at my gate I'll keep an eye out for someone with promising stats.

When someone with good stats shows up I'll scoop them up, put them in a cage and recruit them. And add them to the goon squad. As a sort of shook troops.

Now.. besides the berserkers.. who I think I'm doing a favor.. I'm basically doing what the Reavers do. Only I'm more picky...

Still, basically free manpower.

Recruitment mod middle ground?

Using the recruitable prisoners mod is a bit frustrating because it feels random. I have some holy nation assholes who I've been trying to recruit for.. idk how long and they just give me the same dialog over and over no matter what I try.

I also got a mod that allowed you to recruit anyone. But it was a bit too easy. Because you could go up to anyone, even a captured fogmen who can't speak, and say "join me" and they say "yes!".

It feels a little cheap. No shade to the author, just not what I'm looking for.

I have the GenMod but the recruitment features are a little lacking.

Is there a middle ground? That isn't super frustrating but also not super easy?

Any recommendations?

How did Infinite WingWang get his name?

Is it a reference to anything? Like how Agnu is named after Hunts motorcycle/a Futurama character?

Or did Chris just give him a really silly name?

If you defeat the Bugmaster where do old Shek go to die?

They have a suicidal tendency in their culture. Because you can only enter the afterlife if you die in honorable combat. No wonder such an impressive foe as the bugmaster became a dedicated place to have your last stand.

So.. what happens now?

Maybe defeating the bugmaster wasn't such a good idea after all.

Now they have to find a new foe to kill themselves against.

The hardest choice a warrior can face...

Samurai armor is the goat.

But wearing ancient samurai armor looks real cool and it's a flex. I feel like Shek would value the flex.

Shek and floatsam ninja route?

I'm allied with both.

Allied with shek because.. I handed over the bug boy and didn't wanna be rude.

It was not exactly intended but hey I got the cute shek princess so.. I can't complain.

And I allied with the floatsam because I actually like them.

I wanna take down the holy nation.

So.. what will happen now? Who will own the territories?

Accent headcanons?

Since the game doesn't have voice acting it leaves room for your own interpretations.

And for some reason.. my interpretation is that Green is an Aussie. And so are most lost hivers.

Tinfist and Cat-lon are also Scottish.

Do you all have any headcannons when it comes to accents?

What happens if you wipe out all factions?

Since Kenshi has a very reactive world and all that. Where factions can take over each other's territories.

So what if the phoenix is dead. Tengu is dead and the stone golem (plus ghost, Tora and Flying bull) is dead? What's then?

If the territories are taken over by.. some minor faction.. what if I take them out too?

Is the world just gonna be fogmen?

Can the shek with fragment axes actually use them?

After trying to get my shek warrior to use one I realized how demanding they are. The strength requirements are quite a lot.

Makes me wonder if the shek who come with them equipped actually have enough sauce to use them. Or if it's just for style points.

Martial artists dont mess around

I have a squad who are not in the early game anymore. So to speak.

I suddenly remember I hadn't taken the dust king yet. And I was bored. So why not clean up a bit. Ear 10k cats. Let's go.

We arrived at the tower. 5 guys. Hunter (shek martial arts), Burn, Beep, Green and Ruka.

Anyways. It was a bloodbath... Then I remembered that.. oh yeah they bounty. I identified the king, he was full health, and directed hunter to attack him.

Hunter went for the one two.

First strike amputated both his arms.

Second strike destroyed his chest and killed him.

I sat stunned for a moment before reloading.

Martial arts around 70 don't mess around...

The desert saber is probably my favorite looking weapon in kenshi. It looks like a wicked knife. And it would be perfect for Green. Green has sorta become a hunter in my game.. with an Aussie accent and a questionable attitude. The desert saber would be perfect as a sidearm for him. Issue is.. it ain't a sidearm.

Is there a mod that ads a mini desert saber? Alternatively a Bowie knife?

Green says thank ye c#nt

It was kinda recently that I reflected on this but the characters in kenshi have relatively little characterization (with obvious exceptions). Which was odd because I have such a strong feeling of who these people are. And I think it's fascinating how much character we bring to the characters.

My first character is a shek named Hunter. Named as such.. after I pressed randomize twice. Started off as a Wanderer in shobati.. before getting enslaved... Fleeing... And getting enslaved again in rebirth... These experiences have shaped her. She's brooding. Quite. Dedicating herself to stealth and martial arts.. the way of the slave.

Planning and scheming behind the scenes. Putting plans into motion. Cold, but loving to her fellow man without the ability to really express it.

After fleeing rebirth I sat up shop in mongrel. Meeting Beep. We all know Beep. He needs no introduction. Wanting to become the best swordsman he's working on mastering all bladed weapons.. partial because of bragging rights, partial because he wants a holistic proficiently with the blade... And partially crippling decision paralysis. After a training accident involving beak things Beep lost both arms and a leg... Hunter.. carrying the unconscious hiver over her shoulder, darted back to mongrel. Leaving her adoptive son in the car of the skeleton doctor. Whilst beep was recovering in a coma Hunter darted across the map. Wrecked by guilt she acquired two specialist grade lifters and a KLR leg. As well as master garde samurai armor...

To hopefully protect her son from ever getting injured again.

When Beep woke up he was fucking delighted over his newfound power!

Declaring himself CyberBeep! And the world shock in fear.

WingWang... Or.. Infinite WingWang... Somehow got himself glitched into the wall by the mongrel armour store. Making.. stealing.. a bit difficult. He was literally just recruited so he could get the fuck out of the way. That asshole asked for 100 000 cats.. just to get out of the way. Hunter called his bluff and he joined the gang for 5 000. After an.. incident.. Infinite WingWang got enslaved in rebirth.. learning much the same lessons hunter did.. he escaped and now wanders the great deserve as a.. slightly unhinged martial artist.

Crumblejon was pesterd by Beep. Relentlessly. To the point where he joined just to get the hiver to leave him alone.

Got a spinal adjustment form the Shinobi thife surgeon. Now he spends most of his time either strength leveling or beating up fogmen with his very big sword.

And finally Green. Green shot a guy in a bar because he wanted to steal his coat. Shot another guy to steal his hat. He.. does this.
