I think my office car wash anneh ran away after I paid lump sum

So this anneh from India washes car in my office parking lot. He charges rm50/month for superficial cleaning few days a week.

Seems like he's been there for years since many senior staff knows him well. I joined about a year ago.

I was late to pay him twice in a row so I decided to just pay lump sum for the entire year. Rm600. He seemed abnormally excited for this amount of money, which I presume he gets even more on payday anyway.

So 2 days after I paid, he was nowhere to be seen, usually comes in every other day. Now it has been 3 weeks since start of the month and my car hasn't been washed.

I suspect he got enough money to pay off his debt or flew back home for holiday.

PSA: this subreddit is the worse place to get advice or recommendations.

Every good or bad story is perfectly curated by their marketing employee. Anyone genuinely trying to give their opinion will be overshadowed by meticulously written review of the brand they're working for.

So, to first time buyers or just anyone in general. Just buy whatever you like. They're all good enough. Don't need to look through here

Such an incredible action movie, which I think should be the level all action movies thrive to reach.

I was blessed by the YouTube shorts algorithm and had unknowingly watched the first half of the movie in 1 minute sections over the past few weeks. So I thought heck I'll finish the movie.

The beginning 30 minutes caught me out of breath and just when I thought oh the opening action is done and it's gonna be some story or character development, NOPE, straight back to explosions and pure Australia.

Of course the plot armors were thicker for some characters but I'd say it's to be expected for this type of movie. It's only a thousand kamikazies vs 1 main character, of course the main character will win. /s btw

The villains were so interesting it's a shame they didn't get fleshed out more (heh). I hardly knew anything about Joe or how the citadel functioned.

The only real wtf moment I had was during the finale chase scene and the ending. All hundreds of them fail to catch the truck? Really? And why would they give the citadel up? Joe must have his generals and lieutenants who can command loyalty.

Great movie to watch when having a long day.
