New 5080 Installed and Pc Swapped In The New Phantek Evolve x2 Case

Made a post a few days ago about waiting for the case to come in to install the gpu. Heres the finish product.

I couldn't recess the radiator fans as its a one way install. So the hoses would have been on the other side.

This was my first time completely disassembling a pc and swapping to a new one. Came from a shitty Deepcool cc560 case.

Timed Exclusive Or Exclusive...

Some insight on this would be lovely. Theres so many die hard Fromsoft fans that don't have, or want a Ns2 (including myself). It would be an absolute bummer if it stays as an exclusive only title.

My Personal Upcoming 2026 Titles I Will Be Purchasing

34, Horror fan. Grew up on OG CoD and Gears — feels like 2006/07 nostalgia with those two launching so close together. Big extraction shooter guy, also deep into the Souls/RPG genre. 2027's stacked with gems too. Gaming has never been better.

If You Haven't Played "Still Wakes The Deep", I Highly Suggest You Do

Still Wakes The Deep goes on sale quite frequently, which is usually at a good price for the story rich experience you get. I hold it up as one of my favorite experiences in gaming of all time.

The atmosphere, story, setting just latch onto you from the main menu all the way till the credits roll. I wish I could experience it for the first time again.

Its short but sweet.

For Any Arc Raiders Fans Or Fans Of PvP Shooters

Nows the perfect time to get into this game. Its been around for quite sometime and I've played my fair share of shooters from fast paced pvp, extraction to battle royales and Hunt still remains my favorite and a game I always come back to.

Has Crytek Done Double Xp In The Past?

I've been playing for several years and if it has happened, I guess I was on a break or just not playing at the time.

Anyways, it should be something that happens every once and awhile. Really nice to have as an addition to the grind.

Would Really Like BF3 and BF4 Operator Packs.

Something I'd be willing to buy. But dice makes terrible business choices instead....

Anyone Feel Like This Events Map Design Should Just Remain The Default Theme For Hunt?

Something about it. Its dark, the design makes sense, the stronghold is a perfect feature, dead bodies hanging and rotting away everywhere just fit the tone. It honestly just feels great and should remain indefinitely.

I really think Crytek hit the nail on the head with this one.

Father In Law Rant

For starters, I'm not exactly a great writer, so forgive me if this is a bit all over the place.

I'm writing this for my own peace of mind because I genuinely feel like I'm going insane. It honestly feels like I have no one on my side, and I need to get these thoughts out.

To begin, my father-in-law and his girlfriend broke up, which resulted in him being kicked out of his home. While I was away at work (I work a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off camp schedule), my fiancée allowed him to move in with us. She asked for my opinion only after he had already moved in.

I was very hesitant because I've never liked the man. He was not a good father to her during her childhood. I asked how long he would be staying, and she told me it would only be for one month. Based on that understanding, I agreed.

My fiancée appreciates having him around because she has epilepsy, and he is able to help her when she needs it. I can acknowledge that he has been helpful to her while I'm away. However, I find him to be a constant source of frustration. At times, he feels like a 55-year-old toddler—someone who constantly needs to be told what he can and cannot do.

My relationship has already been struggling, and I often feel like I'm just visiting my own home when I come back from work. Now it feels as though he's become the man of the house, and I find that incredibly uncomfortable. I've discussed these feelings with my fiancée, but nothing has changed.

He's now been living here for four months and has made no effort whatsoever to find a place of his own. As far as I know, he hasn't made a single phone call or sent a single message looking for housing because he says it's too expensive. My fiancée initially thought $500 per month was a fair contribution, and for one month I agreed. But after the second month, my frustration started to build.

He's living in our home, eating our food, and using my truck. Originally, he was using my truck without my permission, and today I found out he has also been smoking in it. At this point, I feel like I'm losing my mind.

What makes this even harder is that while I'm away at work, my fiancée and her father have been bonding. They've been golfing, spending time together, and doing activities as a family. Meanwhile, I often feel completely isolated. I don't have friends nearby, I don't have family I can talk to about this, and I don't really have hobbies that get me out of the house. We have two kids, and when I'm home, I often feel trapped between my responsibilities and my growing frustration.

When I try to express how I'm feeling, my fiancée tells me that I'm overreacting or making too much of the situation. Maybe that's true, but it doesn't feel that way to me. From my perspective, I see a man who is taking advantage of our generosity by paying cheap rent while making no effort to become independent. Based on his past behavior, I believe that once he's forced to leave, his true colors will show again. Historically, he has only contacted us when he needed something, wanted to borrow money, or required help. That's why I struggle to see this situation as temporary or harmless.

My relationship is already on thin ice, and it feels like no one understands what I'm going through. I already struggle with being away from home so often and feeling like I live two separate lives. Now, on top of that, I'm dealing with this situation every time I come home. It's exhausting.

During my last shift, I found myself wanting to leave everything behind—not because I don't care about my family, but because I desperately wanted peace. I've been with my fiancée for 14 years, and I feel like something has to change. At this point, I believe he needs to move out.

What I'm struggling with is this: am I a terrible person for wanting to leave? I genuinely love and care about my family, but I don't know if I can continue living like this if he remains in our home indefinitely. I just want my house back. I want my life back. I want to feel comfortable in my own home again.

The hardest part is that I don't want this situation to destroy my relationship. I want to focus on my fiancée. I want to focus on my children. I want to spend my energy fixing the issues in our relationship and being present for my family. Instead, it feels like all of my attention, frustration, and emotional energy is being consumed by this living arrangement.

I feel like I can't fully work on my relationship or reconnect with my family while he's still here. Every time I come home, his presence is a constant source of stress and resentment. Rather than focusing on the people I love, I'm focused on how uncomfortable I feel in my own home.

At this point, I don't believe the situation can continue as it is. For the sake of my own well-being, my relationship, and my family, I feel like he needs to move out. I don't hate him, and I'm not trying to be cruel. I simply want my home, my privacy, and my family life back.
