I just had my first experience with the drivers stealing my food; they kept adding new drivers, and the restaurant kept sending them back. It was crazy. I got three drivers and had to call Uber Eats, and they canceled my order. How often does this happen?

I typically am a power user of DoorDash, ordering three times a day every day for the year. Long story short, I decided to try UberEats. I got an UberEats pass and the first experience was just a really crazy one. They kept adding new drivers and it was very confusing until I contacted the driver and they said they wouldn't release the food because another driver had taken the food. They said all they can do is cancel. So it looks like there's a strategy for theft internally. I just want to know how often this has happened as I'm a full-stack developer and if this is something that's rapid, then I'd love to create a website so we can track this. People could report and eventually go into a class action lawsuit. I don't believe it's right for the consumer to pay that with their time and that's what I did. They shouldn't reward the theft and punish the customer.

Blue Yeti in 2026: still one of the easiest starter mics to recommend

I’ve been testing the Blue Yeti recently, and honestly, I still think it makes a lot of sense in 2026 for people getting into YouTube, podcasting, voiceovers, Zoom calls, or basic content creation.

It’s not the newest mic, and I know there are more “pro” setups out there, but the big win is how simple it is. You plug it in, set the pattern correctly, lower the gain, and you can get solid voice quality without needing an interface or complicated audio chain.

A few things I learned that actually matter:

For most people, use cardioid mode. That is the heart-shaped icon. It picks up your voice from the front and rejects more sound from the back/sides. This is the setting I’d use for solo voice, YouTube, gaming, podcasting, and Zoom.

Keep the gain lower than you think. A lot of people crank the gain and then wonder why the mic picks up keyboard noise, fans, echo, and the whole room. Starting around 25–40% is usually much cleaner.

Talk into the side with the Blue logo, not the top of the mic. This one sounds obvious, but a lot of people get it wrong because the mic looks like you should speak into the top.

A cheap windscreen or pop filter helps more than expected. It is not magic, but it does clean up plosives and some harsh breath noise.

The only annoying thing I ran into was on Mac. I had a small detection issue while running a heavy creative setup with After Effects/Bluetooth/software conflicts, but once I cleaned that up, it worked fine.

My honest take: if someone is just starting out and wants better audio without overthinking everything, the Blue Yeti is still a very safe recommendation, especially refurbished, because the pricing can be way lower than buying new.

I wrote a longer breakdown here with the settings/icons explained if anyone wants it:

Curious what others think: is the Blue Yeti still a good starter mic, or would you recommend something else first in 2026?

Update on the viral “alien” photo I posted — it traces back to a 1950 April Fool’s hoax but do you think they have been silenced? Here is a good video on the history behind the photo.

I already have a lot of good material, but I would love to hear directly from people. Please share your stories, because for my own personal experience, I have just been experimenting on pushing and learning about their system and then why it flags, why it doesn't. For my data, there's definitely a huge problem with inaccuracies. It's pretty chaotic, but I'd like to learn more.

Hey everyone,

You’re going to see Measure CB on your ballot this June. On the surface, it sounds like a no-brainer: "Let's tax the illegal cannabis shops to fund city services." But if you actually look at what this does to the legal market and consumer safety, it’s a massive mistake.

The City is choosing revenue over your health.

Right now, legal dispensaries in LA have to follow insane testing standards—checking for mold, heavy metals, and pesticides. Illegal shops skip all of that. By creating a specific tax framework for unlicensed shops, the city is basically "normalizing" businesses that are actively hurting people.

Remember the vaping hospitalizations? We’ve already seen what happens when the illicit market runs wild. History is repeating itself. Independent lab tests on popular illegal products (like "Moon Rock Clear" carts) have shown they fail for some nasty stuff:

  • Myclobutanil: This is the big one. When you heat it up in a vape, it turns into Hydrogen Cyanide. Yes, the toxic gas.
  • Clofentezine & Tebuconazole: Pesticides linked to liver toxicity and suspected carcinogens.

Why this hurts the legal market: The people doing it the right way—paying for licenses, security, and lab testing—are already struggling. Measure CB gives the city a reason to keep these illegal shops around just for the tax check, instead of actually shutting them down for being unsafe. It rewards the people breaking the law and punishes the ones following it.

If you care about safe cannabis and a regulated industry that actually protects the consumer, we need to stand against this.

TL;DR: Measure CB tries to tax the illegal market instead of enforcing safety rules. It puts toxic products on the same level as tested ones. Vote NO on June 2nd.

Pro-tip for Reddit: If you post this, be prepared to answer questions in the comments about why "just taxing them" isn't enough. The "Hydrogen Cyanide" point usually hits home for people who remember the EVALI crisis!

No more clogged carts! Thats my favorite thing about the sesh electric dab rig. The vape pen with mushroom art is just awesome. Even has a dab mode temp 4.2. But the Sesh is my favorite new way to indugle ina long time. You get higher believe it or not with the bigger amounts of THC you consume at one with the vape compared to ther struggle of 510 carrts that leave you wanting more. But hey I need my vape pen when I am at raves in SF lol.
