What are your thoughts about social security and the future of it. Seems it’s difficult for the current generation to get a job, but curious if this impacts all of us

I read that security security is dependent on the taxes of the next generation and their jobs working in corporate.

But with jobs seemingly disappearing on us, curious if there is a concern you have here as well

Looking to scale my operations in Nigeria for solar panel outreach and scale it to here in the US

Solar panels are becoming something important I'm learning, especially for powering datacenters, along with the cooling methods for these datacenters.

However my team in Nigeria needs the same infrastracture. So they're doing outreach first to learn more about the industry while assisting established companies and hospitals and schools, but eventually we plan on scaling operations to the US with regards to the cold outreach.

And if we do well here, we plan on entering the sector ourselves with our contact and help scale the datacenters that are needed to support the ai infrastructure that many sectors right now are trying to support.

Had a nonprofit tell me that they need help before the end of the year. Is there something happening by the end of the year?

Asking because it sounded like there's some more cuts coming or that they are just running out of time before the cuts really hit them.

So I'm curious if this is a common thing or if I should just ask them more detailed questions. I know not everyone wants to explain the details of their situations all the time, so wanted to ask the community here before I jump in and just ask the person who told me. I figured you guys know the news faster than I can research here.

Curious what a good commission+base looks like

So far my research is leading me to believe that 1/10 of the target revenue goals with a 10% commission on sales until 100% of the revenue target is hit then you bump it up to 15%.

Preparing my sales team here but wanted to know what was fair.

Looking to join a team that could leverage my technical systems and skills. Fractional CTO here

I have open capacity, so am looking for someone to work with who may need help. Feel free to let me know what you need.

It’ll likely be free or equity-based since I mainly serve nonprofits, but since I have capacity just wanted to open up and help folks out for a bit, and possibly onboard if anyone is interested in what I do with the systems I use for my clients.

Seems data centers and power grids are the place to go. Anyone know if this is the case?

Seeing more and more that people are recommending investing into powergrids or data centers since those are the backbones of the ai wave here. And if and when ai fails and produces vapor ware, at least you have an asset that can be used for something else.

Is that true?

Curious if lausd is gonna have to rethink their IT department soon. Do you guys know?

I’m in IT and am thinking to move towards like government funded programs for defense and aerospace more than the public school system or healthcare. But is anyone familiar with what’s happening with lausd and their IT sector? Wondering if there are some struggles there.

You know you're making good music when your kids are singing it in the bathtub.

That is the most validating feeling. Hearing their little heads repeat it when they're like focused on something else. It's like that "second brain effect", where you hear a second voice in your head (apparently not everyone has it). They are just letting it play in their head and even playing with the words. I love it.

Is it true that during british colonization, the british had tribes marry different tribes which ended up causing a big fight?

Was doing research with google to figure out the history of Nigeria. Trying to make sure it's not all just random hallucinations, but curious if it's true that Britain came, had people marry from different tribes, and then there were fights, and then something about oil and Nigeria becoming known for it's oil and getting a lot of capital for it and then people reaching for the capital, to the point that it broke the class system in a certain way, disabling the average person from being able to participate in the distribution of wealth, especially with there being no transparency in how money is brought down to the common people.

It's a lot here... so trying to confirm parts before I have a full story about the picture.

Happy Father’s Day fellas

It ain’t easy trying to survive alone, let alone survive taking care of others, but people have been doing it for many generations, and it’s an honor to be a part of that culture. Either way, you guys take it easy this Father’s Day.

It’s said that in ancient times, rules were given from father to son, and then from teacher to student. Talking about the Torah specifically.

Regardless of what we all believe in, the template is the same I find. We have a duty to make sure that we know the rules and teach the children the game.

So cheers to all of us still living and trying to spit game to the youth, whether you have biological children or children in spirit, cheers to you.

Happy Juneteenth ya'll. Wanted to share the love with a video I made.

It's so fascinating that we're at a point in history where we can do so much research to understand what many people in the past have found out, and to be able to gather that information and compile a better understanding of history through the lens of the collective truth is a blessing in itself.. as opposed to continuing to consume a lie about our history. So this juneteenth I wanted to release a video I've been working hard. It's naturally made with ai-generated graphic. I am no artist, just a researcher and programmer... but I hope it gets the point across and lifts us all up one higher view.

Is it true that we're running at about 120% of our current power in los angeles right now? And there's an eletricity problem?

Asking because I'm seeing some information that the mayor of Los Angeles is trying to fix a few problems.

- Housing (for the ones that need housing. Not gonna say the term since it seems to be sort of banned in this subreddit).
- Electricity
- Jobs

So I'm curious here if this electricity problem is true or just bad research. Anyone know?

Cinematic mode videos is by far one of the best usages of ai I’ve ever seen. The main reason I use notebooklm. Any others reasons to?

I use google Gemini for my research and then Manus for my generic things, but notebooklm for those videos. I love being able to make them.

But are there any great uses for notebooklm? Looking for more reasons to stay in the tool

LinkedIn feels like a marketplace surrounding a conference

It’s like vendors are approaching you with solutions, while you walk around a room looking for people to just network with and exchange information.

I'm pretty happy I have clients, but curious if we're all low key providing near the same solutions

Basically... it's a market of trying to provide business solutions so the owner of a company doesn't work as hard with using our tools of ai and some automation right?

Realizing lately that these sports apps are really getting people stuck into an addicting loop. Are you all noticing the same?

Like it used to be illegal and now it's legal and just compliance and protection is not there as it should be. I get we are all adults... but come on. Anyone else noticing the same?

Trying to create my own sort of chatgpt infrastructure as a SaaS, however I hear the market is sort of dying.

I think the thing I'm hearing is that people aren't calculating how much it truly costs to run one since you never know how much users will be turning up the bill. Is that the common chokepoint I should be concerned about?

The ability to just inspire people to hear their own “narratives” for lack of better words is amazing.

My clients are very happy with the songs I generate for them. It’s not meant to be distributed publicly, but it’s sort of a teaser into the things I record them saying. Just hearing their own thoughts in a rhythmic fashion just blows up their brain, and they finally hear something better than what they heard on the radio.

Naturally, to an external party it’s likely not good… but for them, it just gets them moving

I don’t know if you guys are noticing the same, but people want cheaper access to ai models now. Noticing?

Seems there are many models and tools leveraging these models, but the models are getting more expensive. Curious if your businesses or people you work with are looking for cheaper access to the power behind this new generation of business construction
