The concept of “if you're infected by the Flood it's basically an eternal Hell” has been, if not outright said, implied since Halo 2.

In the famous scene where the Gravemind basically reanimates Regret to prove a point, the only way that makes sense is if there’s some mechanism by which the Flood can “retrieve” Regret’s consciousness even after the prophet’s physical body is dead. Because keep in mind:

  1. The Chief had beat Regret to death at least several hours before the prophet was infected.
  2. The building was also glassed.

Also take note of how Regret starts screaming when the tentacle gets lowered down, implying that the Regret the Gravemind reanimated isn't just the Gravemind using the prophet’s voice, it's the actual Regret and he’s fully aware of what's being done to him.

A theory I have about the chairman of SEELE.

Keel Lorenz is one of the most important characters in the franchise despite only appearing for a combined total of 15 minutes. He is the leader of SEELE, and thus the architect of Instrumentality and really all the events of the entire series. Nothing else about him is known, despite being Eva’s ultimate “bad guy”.

Apparently, early in production, SEELE were straight up going to be the real-life esoteric somewhat heretical Jewish sect called the Essenes that are famous for…

The Essenes have gained fame in modern times as a result of the discovery of an extensive group of religious documents known as the Dead Sea Scrolls, which are commonly believed to be the Essenes' library.

With this in mind, heres my crackpot theory on Keel’s backstory:

He’s a Jewish Holocaust survivor, possibly experiencing it as a young child about the age of the main trio, who lost faith in humanity as a result of the trauma…and rediscovered his family’s strange, borderline heretical beliefs as a result.

Young Keel just didn’t think his family’s odd interpretation of Judaism was real….

From Keel’s perspective, Instrumentality is a solution to the problem that produced Auschwitz:

If the boundaries between people create alienation, hatred, and violence, then humanity can only be saved by abolishing those boundaries. Very literally so.

In the OG series how much does the general public know?

What does the public (inside and outside of Japan) in 2015 know about NERV, the Evangelions, the Angels and Instrumentality?

Misato seems to refer to the “Human Completion Project” in episode 2, which would imply at least some version of Instrumentality is common knowledge. But apparently the cover up for Second Impact was that it was a meteor strike?

Since the world thinks Second Impact was an asteroid, what does the public think the Angels even are? some random aliens?

Does the world know that Lilith is chained up in NERV’s basement and if the Angels get to her it’s wraps?

Does the world know that the Evas are cloned from Adam/Lilith?

Does the world know that the Evas are piloted by kids?

Does the world know about SEELE?

Ritsuko is lowkey the most pathetic character in all of Eva and it’s not even close

Homegirl is simping for a man who

  1. Already fucked her mom.
  2. Already played her mom.
  3. Has the express goal of ending the world entirely just to crack a woman that is not her.

She ruins her one friendship with Misato over this, and, in the manga, she has beef with a 14 year old.

The main three are children so they have an excuse, Misato and Kaji are mostly sane, Kaworu is an alien, and Gendo, Keel and Yui are evil but at least they aren‘t trifling pick me‘s.

Actually both the Akagi’s are equally pitiable tbh.

The defining genre of the 2020s is Country and Old Town Road was the Smells Like Teen Spirit of the modern age.

No I will not be taking questions or explaining my point at this time. Thank you.

Weird dating icks have:

Hi girls! I’m just going to be sharing some of the icks I have with men when dating, feel free to share your guys icks too in the comments.

My icks:
-Men who use/watch TikTok when they’re over the age of 25

-men who wear jewelry/ get their ears pierced

-hedonist/materialist men who think flexing something like a Porsche will get them a girl

-Stingy men

-Men who talk in lower case letters when typing (it’s some sort of weird social media trend? I don’t even know.)

-men who are overly into conspiracy theories (they tend to end up being racists/bigots)

-men who are over active on dating apps

-men who take selfies/ photos of themselves and post on social media. So feminine imo. Okay girlypop. 😂Group photos are ok.

-men who call themselves “carnivores” (recent health trend on social media)

-men who are obsessed with masculinity, testorone, just any of that manosphere BS. (A man whos actually masculine, just is.. he doesn’t need to hyper focus in it) 😂

-bad hygiene

Anyways what are your guys icks? Any icks we have in common?

(Also the food in the pic is a chocolate pudding chia bowl, it’s so delish!!)

Why do i mainly attract geeky theater girl types on dating apps?

I'm a 6ft black guy with twists who looks like a jock/”I play football” (I'm not bragging I've straight up been told this) but for some reason the theater kids love my ass? And that’s really not my type?

My last situationship was in the drama club, just matched on bumble with a girl that looks like chappell roan, and i went on a date yesterday and the girl told me she could recite Hamilton line for line and i wanted to Irish goodbye that date so bad

why and how do i make this stop

I will never be my type’s type.

Milk cake with strawberries and raspberries.

I usually don’t care about boys and Im busy with my own life but sometimes, especially during gatherings, it gets overwhelming and I just feel a deep empty pit in my heart when I see couples holding hands and just being there for eachother. I want that too :(. I have zero support system around me and im absolutely exhausted these days living with my parents and have no escape. And even when I remotely think about approaching anyone, i get scared.

Because Im a hijabi and brown. (Please no religious discrimination I do not wanna hear anything about that.) And the worst part? My type is white guys. I don’t know why. I mean i would not mind if any other guy from any race has chemistry with me like i’d not say no to them cuz they’re not white but atm all my crushes are the same. Sporty, active, funny, nerdy, tall and gentle. I hate that. I hate having this type. It is so unachievable and it’s genuinely making me depressed nowadays. Its not the only thing but it’s still messing with my head.

Edit: why are there so many comments that I can’t open or see :(?? Whats happeninggg
